Still shaking. Towed to the nastiest motel the baymont in Lafayette. Homeless haven. Check in. That was my night. The next morning. I called the hero's. Sweet man didn't mind my Cali gen at 7 am. Said they would get some one out with in the hour. And they did. The sweetest cutest young man by the name of Chance came to my rescue. He was up and under my truck seeing if he could get the spare down No such luck. But he brought me a tire. And watching him work with such professionalism and speed. Reminded me of my dad. Who weed tires. His hands were the hands of a hard working man. His entire deamor and manner was charm polite kind and empathetic. My two toddlers and I were on our way to Monroe from Lafayette, when my tire completely blew out…read more We were in I-49, on the left hand side of the interstate on the median with 18 wheelers buzzing by. I called the state police and waited almost 30 minutes before I realized it was going to be much longer until they arrived. I googled towing services near me and thank God roscoes towing services showed up on my search. Within 5 minutes he was at my window calming me and telling me exactly what to do. He stopped traffic, and had me pull the shoulder of the interstate and changed my tire. But, after that was done he told me my tire needed air and would not make it unless it was aired up. He told me he would not let me drive my babies home unless he was able to check and air up all my tires. When 0/3 of the gas stations were all out of air, he called his brother and had him meet us to fill up my tires with the compressor that was on his brothers truck. All while offering to get us something to eat if we were hungry. He took 2 1/2 hours out of his day to make sure my family was taken care of and asked nothing in return. I have his business card on my dash to remember to thank God for him and his family, and pray for them daily. I cannot thank him enough for taking such good care of me and my babies!!
