All they cared about was getting a sell. The car came with one key, no floor mats and no spare tire or car jack. It also had a musty smell as if it was once in a flood. TLDR: Never buy a car from ville platte dodge…read more Their cars seem great, especially ones with only a few thousand miles on them. They are likely wrecked. I was sold a car that i was told was not wrecked. I noticed a small rust spot, a missing drain plug, and a mildew smell. Was told "it must have gotten wet from the car wash" and they would clean it, and replace the plug. (They never did) Once i noticed mold growing on my carpet, i took it elsewhere in Lafayette and they were super helpful. They informed us the car had been wrecked, and replaced the drain plug. With the drain plug intact and no where for the water to go... The next rain left my car with a river under the floor board. The damage from the wreck was poorly repaired, leaving my car with rust, moisture, and mold. When looking into reports, it said the wreck caused very minor damage which is usually scrapes and cosmetics. This damaged the frame of my car, causing it to not seal correctly, leaving me to believe there are repairs made under the table so it wouldn't report the severity of the damage. When talking to them about how i was unsatisfied, i was met with the "as is" clause. I understand legally they do not have to take any action. They just wanted to sell me another car. I do not trust any cars on their lot. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

I also had a mechanical issue (outside of their scope) that caused me to have to leave my RV parked in front of their shop for a few days. They were more than happy to accommodate the inconvenience. My two toddlers and I were on our way to Monroe from Lafayette, when my tire completely blew out…read more We were in I-49, on the left hand side of the interstate on the median with 18 wheelers buzzing by. I called the state police and waited almost 30 minutes before I realized it was going to be much longer until they arrived. I googled towing services near me and thank God roscoes towing services showed up on my search. Within 5 minutes he was at my window calming me and telling me exactly what to do. He stopped traffic, and had me pull the shoulder of the interstate and changed my tire. But, after that was done he told me my tire needed air and would not make it unless it was aired up. He told me he would not let me drive my babies home unless he was able to check and air up all my tires. When 0/3 of the gas stations were all out of air, he called his brother and had him meet us to fill up my tires with the compressor that was on his brothers truck. All while offering to get us something to eat if we were hungry. He took 2 1/2 hours out of his day to make sure my family was taken care of and asked nothing in return. I have his business card on my dash to remember to thank God for him and his family, and pray for them daily. I cannot thank him enough for taking such good care of me and my babies!!
