The food was delicious, especially the baklava. We enjoyed the friendly service. Amazing atmosphere for a relaxing night.

Stand by.... ten minutes later you will have the best salad with any choice of burger, roll or…read morerotisserie chicken available to you. What a treat! The shop is nothing to smile about, the menu is meh but when the food hits your mouth, it is heaven. I walked into this place by word of mouth and there are no customers inside. Either I come in-between customers or this place is really out of the way for everyone. A schnitzel burger and medium salad on the side is to fill any hunger of mine after a long day at work and (before I could get my order) looks like others as well. At least 10 other people walk in with half phoned ahead orders, received their meals/dinners to-go. THIS has to be the go-to local joint. The reason is that I mentioned salad first before over the burger is that I've never had quite an enjoyable second/side dish that out-shined the main. Not that I mean the main was bad, it was excellent. The salad of various varieties are mouth watering and not simple "rabbit food". They will feed a mans man. There is a reason the word "salad" is in their business title. They informed me the salad is made daily and is not exactly the same each day too. CHOICE! Chicken is too and man o' man it is delicious. Completely locked in moistness and taste is in every bite of a schnitzel. A warning tho, each bite will be as hot as the first. Perfectly fried or cooked I don't know. I'll leave the magic of the kitchen something to be worshiped after. At a very good price & walking away full, this place beats out any other place in Dural. Even free parking on the street or carpark at the local Woolworth & Aldi but also a bus stop right outside the doors of this shop if food coma happens to those people often. Card payments also excepted for this tiny salad chicken shop in Dural. Mark My Words

I often buy the Greek rice pudding as a snack, it's really scrummy! They now sell organic chicken so that's another point in their favour. They sell chips, roasted dinners which are generous in their serves and very well priced. You can buy large and small bottles of soft drinks and for those who want to save time, milk. There's a queue depending what night you go and it can take quite a while to get served but it's definitely worth the wait.

Inside it has the coolest decor, wood tables, white chairs, succulent plants and the themed 'Gem' around the place, beautiful candles and would fit right in with any trendy CbD cafes. They advertise Toby's estate from out front so that's encouraging. Waitresses and waitress are trendy and very efficient. I read through the breakfast options; banana bread, messy Jesse burger (bacon, egg, mushroom, hash brown), smashed Avi, brekie bowl, breakfast salad (spinach, strawberries, walnuts, Haloumi and avo), eggs your way, scrambled egg board with labne, waffles, eggs benedict and they also have lunch options; falafel stack, burgers, salads and salt and pepper squid. So much to choose from. It was still early so I had the brekky bowl, a huge bowl of yoghurt with homemade granola, seasonal fruits - today was strawberries and banana, with chia seeds, pistachios and honey. Prices are good, thus was $12 and everything ranges from $6 up to about $18. Really nice and Id love to come back for other stuff! They also had killer shakes; cookies and cream, strawberries and cream, salted caramel, banana split, vanilla bean. I got the vanilla bean which was a vanilla milkshake topped with cream, jelly beans, sprinkles and a freddo frog. Children would love this. Great cafe if you're in the area or Id certainly recommend the drive to find it.

The food is average and the coffee is always bitter. The milkshakes were the biggest disappointment- they are so thin it seems like there is no ice-cream in it and it literally just tasted like milk, not the vanilla flavour I ordered.

The staff were not rude but a little peculiar. It would be quite and all of a sudden two would be on top of me. I must note that this was the first time I'd ever been told off in a restuarant for photographing the menu (my memory is terrible) as I was told competition might steal their food designs... okay. All that aside the food was mighty delicious. The burgers had such complexity and substance, smokey and salty. The burgers had great coverage with the sauces and juicy meat patties, but the burger as a whole held together - no sloppy buns or bits falling out. The sides were just perfect, onion rings and fries - both work great. Outside seating is lovely and calm, despite all the foot traffic from the shopping centre. If you like a good restaurant burger you must try this place out.

However, for me this place wasn't that special - in a nut shell, it is expensive and you really don't get what you pay for. Every dish has to have some 'exotic' ingredient to justify the price, but I'm sorry, still not worth it. Don't misunderstand me, the food is good if you are willing to pay for it. But I think the most disappointing thing was the coffee, it was weak and quite average. And I came here in the morning, which is my spiritual coffee time! And instead of reaching self-enlightenment with my cup of coffee, I just got woken up. Specifically, as after eating here, I made sure that I drove past the Baron to get a real cup of coffee. I know that I am being harsh, but when you are paying $30+ for a breakfast and coffee I except a bit more. And sadly I don't think I got it.

However inside was super cozy and the perfect place to hit out with a coffee. The kitchen was closed when we made it but a second wind for a second lunch totally could have happened. The burger sounded aahhhmazang!! The treat skim piccolo and a cheeky brownie totally hit the spot and the day was a success! The coffee was soooo good! I'm no coffee connoisseur but that cup was so smooth with some surprising character to compliment. (I'll get better with my coffee descriptions lol) They were using 5 senses beans and I'm always a fan of them I'm coming back for that burger!!

This is a very friendly family-run cafe with seating outside and in. I had scrambled eggs with sourdough toast and grilled tomatoes. I've had the same dish at other places, but this is my favorite because the toast wasn't over toasted to a crispy critter. The eggs were fluffy and a grilled tomato for breakfast really hits the spot. Another time when I came here, I had a perfectly poached egg and a delicious scone with jam and cream. I love the way scones in Australia are more like a tender biscuit rather than the hard triangle that passes for a scone in the States. With the jam, the whipped cream is just a bonus. Also, poached eggs are common, a healthier way to eat an egg. It's a bit out of the way towards the end of the outdoor mall, but we'll worth seeking out.

Back in the days before Toby's Estate became more mainstream, these guys had it as their go-to bean. Now that Toby's is more focused on mass production, Thyme Square has switched to Jack and the Bean coffee (another great option). As you know, having a good supply of coffee beans is only the first step in the production of an awesome cup of coffee, but I am happy to say that this cafe does a very decent job banging out cup after cup of great coffee. It must be mentioned that this cafe is also focused on having a wide range of food options [breakfast/lunch/dinner] (which are a tad pricey but compared to other options in Hornsby, might be worth it). As it has been a while since I have eaten here I will leave it to others to tell you what they think. When I was eating here though the standard was quite high. I had the eggplant dip with flatbread to start and it was a garlicky delight. The bread was fresh and hot and I could have quite happily eaten a lot more of it. My main was a charcoal grilled whole snapper (fish of the day at market prices) served with hand cut chips, a jug of lemon butter sauce and a small Greek salad. The fish was perfectly grilled and beautifully moist inside. The chips were the real deal - no frozen crap here. The lemon butter had a pinch of herbs and was perfect with the fish. The salad was fresh and crisp and complimented the meal. Desserts drift from Greek standards but are nevertheless delicious. Their tiramisu was light (a good size serve) and their "profiterole" was nothing of the sort- lady fingers biscuits with cream and chocolate mousse topped with fresh strawberries. Delightful but not a profiterole.
