Visited here for the first time after word of mouth from friends who shared great things. My husbands a bigger guy so it has been challenging finding places that can accommodate to larger sizes. With that said, this place held true to its reputation! There's so much selection for men, even a little for women too! But the variety of choices doesn't fail to disappoint. We were helped immediately upon our entrance to the the store by Zack, the sales manager. He was incredibly helpful, didn't pressure, and gave his honest opinion while we were shopping for just the right suit for my husband. He fitted my husband and made sure he knew the proper way things fit, but still accommodated to his style. My husband loved the experience and will be back to buy more. read more

I have been wearing suits for over 40 years in a business setting, I ordered a suit and my son purchased a sport coat for me at Christmas. The Italian fabrics are stunning and the workmanship paid attention to all the details that let people know you are wearing a custom suit. The custom fitting was a differentiator as the shirts, pants , vests, and jackets all fit great and looked better than any name brand suit off the rack. This company is a staple in my family for years! The service is exceptional! But this year they touched my heart in a deep way. We walked in to get a new jacket for my Husband. He needed it for his Fathers funeral. When we walked in we heard "I am so sorry to hear about your Dad." We know this family from a few political connections and by literally just shopping here often. That Billy knew this, remembered this, and gave his genuine condolences meant the world. This week my Husband stopped by with his winter coat and asked if they could fix the zipper. (They do alterations too!!) The sales person said they don't do zippers anymore but Billy stepped in took one look and said I will personally fix it. Who does that anymore? I mean really!! Bill's Toggery is the Cheer's of mens clothing in the SW Suburbs. From the basic mens dress shirts to the fancy silk ties they do have it all. They also have Big and Tall mens sizes for those hard-to-fit guys. I am always happy to stop in and see them to see what is new. read more

Took a curtain to their cleaners/alterations counter and asked the to sew a straight-across 2" hem to accommodate a new curtain rod. The bill? $103. They dry cleaned it and "a guy had to press it afterward." I feel that if you know it's going to be that much, you should tell a person beforehand. Gave me a 10% discount...that's the best I can do for you. No. You're the owner; you could have done better. But you chose not to. read more

The second you walk in the door you will be greeted as if you're an old friend! The service is outstanding!! The clothing is high-end men's, and the quality if exceptional.
