I have coming here ever since. The staff is friendly and the mechanics are ASE certified. They keep me updated on the status of my car and will work with your budget. I will NEVER use Bills on Broadway again. Overpriced and charge for services not being completed. Took my vehicle there last summer and this spring for AC issues. Both times they said they couldn't find a leak, recharged it and replaced the lines. Charge only held less than a month this year, so took it back for a third time. They now said I had a cracked condenser and only noticed it when they took off the plastic shroud that covers it up. So the past two times they did NOT do a complete total A/C inspection after they said they did, and cost me a total over $2,000. They said to recharge and replace the condenser would be another $2000. Went and picked up my truck, took it to another local automotive shop, and fixed it for $800. They got me right in and the repair was quick, too quick. The price was very high so I got a second quote that was $200 cheaper for an A/C charge. Overcharged me by over 2,500$ if not more! Convinced me things were worse then actually were! Blamed my car dealers shop that they would do it right! Saud my tranny was shot needed replaced or sue the car lot after I put over 7,500$ in my car after only 2 weeks! Let me walk home 6 times and there with a broken foot my wife a broken back even in rain snow wind 100°+ weather without offering a ride home! Staff would have conversation one day forget the very next! Call me by the wring mane CONSTANTLY! Tried getting me to fiance everything with them or their affiliates! They have jumped off on a tanget and are attempting correct the issue different way putting in a resistor then blowing out the blower motor .. Customer service seemed pretty good as far as being welcoming and friendly other than that I can not recommend this shop. I called about an issue my car was experiencing and was told great we can help you with that so I took it in after an hour of diagnosing I was called to the back to look at my car with the mech. He stated he could find absolutely nothing wrong with my vehicle and that I should just continue driving the car and bring it back when the issue got worse....I've got white smoke coming from my exhaust...that's a major red flag and was shocked to be told he recommended I get nothing done to my car. He did state that in the future I should consider replacing the turbo but he didn't think it was needed so I asked for a quote on that for the future because the mech was pretty firm on saying nothing was wrong with the car. After I got the quote I called around only to find out bills was quoted double what everyone else quoted for the same work it was even more than double what the manufacturer dealership quoted me. You would be better off going to a dealer service center where they're experts on your vehicle and everything is half the cost! Bills charges almost 200 after tax for 1 hour of diagnostics...it's 140 at your local dealer remember that. Update- Car went into the dealership and they resolved smoking issue within a hour informed me of the problem and fixed it..they also went over how much I COULD HAVE DAMAGED MY MOTOR IF I HAD CONTINUED TO DRIVE WITH THE ISSUE. read more

Paid $170 for this place to do absolutely no inspection on my vehicle except what they felt while driving the vehicle, which wasn't accurate either. Their mechanics are a joke and need retrained. These mechanics apparently think they are better than they actually are. Very upset with my experience at this place. It's apparently not always better to go local. read more

A Quick Review: Customer Service: Great Prices: Not great Tow Service: Great to tow there. I highly recommend you read the rest of my review. It will better help you understand what you are getting into when you drop your car off at this business. Our story: Our SUV broke down on a Saturday. It was not drive-able. We called Bills on Broadway to see if they would look at it. They said they could, and they even recommended a company who could tow it there. They tow service was called Garage Monkey. It was $50 to tow 5 miles down the road and they billed Bills on Broadway. This was very convenient. They towed the car around 9 AM. By 4 PM, they had done an inspection, and figured out exactly what was wrong with it. They were quick and professional. A women handled all the phone calls and was very kind. They gave us a quote of $3200. Our car is only worth about $5000, if that. We were not looking to sink that much money into a car. In the end, we would have more money in the car than it is worth. We asked for an itemized list of everything they would be doing to fix the car for $3200. Until we were able to stop by and pick up the list, they were even able to text us a short itemized list. We also asked them for a quote on how much they would charge if we just replaced the motor. As with anything, we decided to call around and compare prices. We were told by many different people that this price was outrageous for a timing belt (and accessories), AutoZone included. We had another garage in the same town offer to do everything on the $3200 list from Bills on Broadway for $1100. By this time, we believe that Bills was charging too much. We informed Bills on Broadway that we would probably junk our vehicle instead of paying the $3200. We were polite the entire time and never mentioned the offer from the other garage. The next day we stopped by to pay our balance, our car was parked out front with another car directly in front of it. The front desk lady was very kind and provided her own advice. Our balance came out to about $200.00 ($50 was for the tow). We told her we wanted to pay the balance, because it was likely we weren't going to fix our car. We told her we would have the car towed home the next day by Garage Monkey, and she acknowledged us. That evening, we called Garage Monkey. He said he was knee deep in something. We asked if he could do it the next day, he declined. It seemed that because we did not have Bills on Broadway fix our car, he was no longer interested in helping us. After finding a new tow truck to help us, we called Bills on Broadway. The front lady answered. We told her the tow truck would be there the next morning around 10:30 and that the car would need to be moved. She said okay. We stopped by the next morning around 10:45 and the tow truck was right behind us. They still had not moved the car. We went into the office to tell her the tow truck was minutes away. She looked surprised, and was no longer nice. She just replied "okay". We waited for them to come move the car, while we talked with the tow truck man. They never came out to help us and move the car. We ended up jumping our own car, backing over some grass and down a curb (all with no power steering) and into an adjacent street. The tow guy drove out of the Bills on Broadway, and backed down the road. So overall, they overcharge. They are only nice if they think you are ignorant enough trust them. Then when they know you are not, they are no longer helpful. I recommend them if you are a male customer and can spot when they are overcharging you. They were kind people. They just underestimate a females ability to catch them when they overcharge you. This garage might be nice for simple things, like oil changes. I recommend Garage Monkey to tow your car there. He was nice too. He probably will not tow your car home though. read more

I took my car in to Bills for a sticking brake caliper. I picked up the car after hours once the work was completed because the service writer never called to let me know it was done. I noticed the brakes were really squishy, and there was a "service brakes now" warning light on the dash. I called and talked to Bill himself. Bill told me to drive the car 500 miles and it should go away. It did not so I brought it back and it turns out they messed up the brake line flush and put air in my brake lines. At this point they told me my parking brake module was bad and it would be $600 to replace. This module is physically attached to the caliper they just replaced, and it had no lights or codes when I brought it in for the initial brake job. I went up today to talk this through with Bill, but the kid at the front desk told me several times that "Bill does not speak to customers". After many attempts I was allowed to speak to Bill. Bill and I started a conversation that included them telling me that I broke it myself so I could scam them for free work, and ended with Bill posturing up to me and pointing his finger in my face. They also told me at first they ran my codes when I brought it in for the original service, and that code was there before they ever worked on the car. Their system records every scan they do, but were conveniently unable to find the scan to show me... A shop should own up to their mistakes. I never once brought up money, or that I wanted to get work done for free, I just want a car with working brakes after paying them $1200 for a brake job. read more

Let me begin by saying, I read the reviews for Bill's on Broadway (both good and bad) and ultimately decided to give them a try as their website states that they specialize in electrical services. I can't even begin to tell you how upset I am with the experience that I had with this shop. Here is a full on review of my experience. I made an appointment in advance for 2/18/2019 10 am. I had spoke with Jon (friendly) and explained that I was having an issue with a dead battery on my car. Our initial conversation was approximately 10 minutes. Having spent 10 minutes discussing the issue and answering a few questions. I felt comfortable in scheduling an appointment. When I dropped my car off this morning, Jon restated that the diagnostic charge would be $126 (which would cover the first hour). He further stated that if additional time was needed they would call prior to any additional work. When I dropped my car off, Jon walked out to the lot and started the car up with no problem whatsoever. 6 hours later I called to check the status, Jon told me that a wire was located (continuously hot) but more trouble shooting (at the rate of $126 per hour and no guess as to how much time would be required) Not knowing what this might end up costing, I told him that for the time being I would pick up car and we could look at this in the future. I confirmed that the balanced due of $126 (diagnostic) and told him I would be over shortly to pick up my car. When I got there, I waiting nearly 20 minutes so Bill could put the back together. Jon pulled the car around and I went outside to discuss the findings with Jon. I noticed the pink wire he mentioned was just hanging from the dash now. I asked why the wire wasn't hooked back up as it was found and asked to speak to Bill (owner and tech that worked on my car). Bill came out and I was told not to turn the car off because it wouldn't start if I did. I told Bill and Jon this was not acceptable, as the car started without issue when I dropped it off. Bill told me "no charge on the diagnostic and that we we're down here". I said no, I want my car to be able to start (like when I dropped it off). Again, Bill stated we're done here. I made one last attempt to call Bill and try and rectify the situation prior to writing a review and contacting a lawyer. I was told by Jon that Bill considered this issue closed. read more

I took my car to them to get repaired and got screwed! I asked them to check the A/C knowing it only needed charged and they wanted to charge me $592.69 to basically rebuild it. All it needs is charged!! The engine problem I need fixed is a set of PVC elbows that can be replaced in about an hour costing about $25 and to replace the thermostat a $15 part and an hour more to fix they want or said it needed a lot more done to it, but it did not. They wanted $1202.95 to do it!!! Really, $40 in parts and what is the labor charge???!! Stay away from this place, take your car somewhere else. I can show you what he wanted in writing and what a real respectable place charges. They made me pay $283.70 to get my car back and the did nothing to speak of, to look at the problem that was right in front of them in plain sight!!! OMG what a rip off Check the check engine light-$89.95 To look at the engine piece broken-$79.95 ( I gave them the broken piece and showed them where it came off) A/C not working correctly -$79.95 (All it needed was charged and they did not even do that) No repairs done, nothing and still had to pay, can you say rip off!! read more

It might be unfair to rate a family friend's business, but going off what friends have said after I referred them to Bill, it seems we're not the only ones who experience great service. Everything is done in a timely manner, and Judy (Bill's wife; she runs the front end) tells you up front how long it will take. They never do anything you don't want done, and they will notify you (in-person if you're chilling at the shop or via phone if you dropped your vehicle off) if they find something while they're working. My check engine light came on. Yesterday I took it in and and was told I needed a new catalytic converter with exhaust manifold. The part itself was $675.48 plus $50 in shop supplies (???). I paid $103 for the diagnostic test and asked if I could get my own part and have them put it in. I was told yes, but they would not warranty it. They warranty parts bought through them for 1 year. I started calling part shops and found the amount drastically lower... $120-$329 was the range. I called Bills back and asked for the part number to make sure I got the right one, only now they had changed their mind. The same woman told me that I needed to buy the parts from them or take it somewhere else. I let her know she had JUST told me that I could and her response was, "well lets just say we don't now". I persisted for the parts number and she hung up on me. I took my car to 3D Automotive also in Grove City, and found out I DO NOT need to replace my converter - but could in the future if my car has trouble getting up to speed. They told me this place was just bullying me, and that 3D wanted to make money, but make it the right way. So I almost just spent over $1000 for the diagnostic, part, and labor.... and yet I walked out of 3D with not even a fee for checking my car out. I wonder if because I am a young female, Bills on Broadway thought they could just take major advantage of me. Terds. read more

watch out for the bait and switch with this company. I took my truck in for a quote on upper and lower ball joints and they gave me a quoted price of $368 and change. I scheduled almost 2 weeks ahead, even called the day before to make sure they were ready. When I got there they changed the price to $399. They would not honor the quoted price.
