My BMW M4 got tire repair kit compound all over it and I was super stressed about getting it off as well as potential damage to the paint. My husband asked around and got a recommendation for Bill's. Over the phone, Mark said he'd have to look at it first, but the options would have been to use a clay bar to remove the compound or if it was really bad, they'd have to repaint the entire car. Once we took the car to be looked at, he said they could definitely get it off using the clay bar so I brought it back later in the week and left it there for a half day. When I got back, my car looked brand new. I'm not kidding, I was so delighted. No damage to the paint done, not even swirls. I am so grateful to Bill's for being able to help me out and at a very reasonable price. I probably could've gotten a detailer to do it, but I preferred a body shop since I felt they had more knowledge and care with regards to auto paint jobs. I even drove from Huntington Beach to Fullerton for the work and would do it again in a heart beat. Was recommended to Bill's by a friend of mine in a business networking group with the shop. It was a horrible experience. I asked the owner for an estimate to repair my son's car minor front end damage. I told him my son would have to save the money to pay for the repair and I would not be leaving the car to be fixed today. I had to leave the car for hours. I was charged $100 for the estimate. I questioned this, as I always received a free estimate for body work. Mark insisted he had to take the car apart but promised to put it back together. The car was taken apart and not put back together as promised by Mark. They tried to keep my son's car parts , hood, fender, bumper, grill, lights etc. When I demanded my parts be returned. I saw them sitting in their shop floor mixed with parts from another vehicle. Mark clearly did not want to return the car parts and refused to put them back on. When I insisted I had to have the parts back and starting picking up the car parts, he called an assistant over to help me load them in the car and told me I wouldn't be able to fit them in the car. I did. It took me 45 mins to load the parts in the car with the hood in the trunk and partially in the car after I folded the seat down, along with help from Mark's employee and a friend of mine who gave me a ride to pick up the car. My friend was shocked and told me to get my parts and leave and never ever come back to this place. I had to drive the car home with the hood and fender removed and the engine exposed and parts hanging and dragging from where the bumper was removed. The radiator was leaking much worse then when I brought it there and I had to pray the engine would not overheat and be ruined by the time I got home. Mark said it was ok to drive home. The car looked and sounded much worse then when I brought it there. Subsequently, I have taken the car to other shops where I received a free estimate and they are shocked that the parts were removed by a body shop for an estimate and have recommended to me that I report the incident to the bureau of automotive repair, which I need to get more information about. Mark Bills if you read this, please refund me back my $100. You didn't keep your promise to me and my husband to put the car back together. read more

My truck had a run in with a cement pillar, and I took it to Bill's on a recommendation from a friend. I have never experienced such good customer service from an auto body place before. Mike came in on Saturday, even though they were closed, just to let me drop off my truck. He kept me apprised the entire time my truck was there. He even did a few things that needed to be done that were not part of the accident. and he didn't charge me for it. He made sure the truck was washed and almost showroom condition (it's 8 years old...) when I picked it up. Mike and his wife were friendly, helpful, and just plain gracious! I bought a 1997 Tahoe from the family of a very good friend of mine who passed away. I had heard of Bill's Body Works and the good work they do. My Tahoe was completely rusted on the roof and under the windshield and the hood was almost without paint. This is very typical of Tahoes of that time. The vehicle had been near the ocean since it was new and the salt air did a real number on the paint. So I took it to Mark and told him I was in no hurrry and to take his time as this was just a second car for me. I cannot explain how beautiful the paint job is on this vehicle now. They did everything!!! Took off all the rust and even found some that no one expected to find, and they took care of that too. And they were very up front and didn't try to hide or paint over the rust. I drive a 2013 Ram but I may leave that one in the garage and start driving the Tahoe. It looks like a brand new vehicle, It's the only one in Fullerton like it so if you see a shiny looking Tahoe, that's me and that's the kind of work Mark does. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous job. Terrific shop! I've been going to Bill's for years. I was recommended to the shop from people at work after the parking officer from Fullerton Police dept. side swiped my truck. Then two years later the same dept. crashed into the back end of my pick up truck! (You cannot make this stuff up!) The shop fixed both cars. WORST PLACE to get your car fixed. Charged over $1300 to fix my car and gave it back to me in worst condition. I had to take it to a real auto shop to fix the original damage and the new damage. They won't even return my call or give me a refund. Avoid this place no matter what. read more

I had a great experience here. I had damaged my front headlight and bumper and needed to get my car back into safe operating condition. It's an older car so I didn't want to do any more work than necessary. They were very understanding and only repaired exactly what I wanted. They even went to two different junkyards to try to find used parts (though they had no luck). Once they got the parts repairs were done the same day. They even spent the time to clean off all the duck tape goop from my attempted patch ups. They also washed the car both inside and out! I'm not sure but they might have even waxed it. Hopefully I don't need any more body work any time soon, but if I did, I would go back to them. read more
