Went to Billings RV with intent to look at the popup truck campers. We asked sales rep Flera if we could see how it goes up and down and what to do if the power jacks went out. Her response was, "We don't do that on the lot. Once you buy it, we will make sure it works." We turned right around and went down to Pierce RV where they rolled out the gold standard of customer service. I would not buy anything from Billings RV even if it was the last place in Montana! The Billings RV repair is a total rip-off. They installed a new AC unit on my RV that started leaking two weeks later while I was on vacation in TN. I contacted them for assistance which they did not. I finally had to repair the leak which cost me $110. When I asked them for reimbursement they flat denied me. Do not expect any after-sale assistance from these people - you will be on your own! read more

I had my RV in for repair and experienced very rude customer service. Even the manager did not discuss my concerns in a very professional manner. He plus 2 other employees yelled and hollered at me. They overcharged me for a water leak in my RV shower. They charged me $435 to find and caulk the drain in my shower. They explained that they charge by the job not by the hour. If it was for example $40 an hour they would have done 10 hours of work. I don't think it took 10 hours to caulk the shower or find the leak that I had already pointed out to them. For 15 minutes of work on my hitch they charged me $80. To seal my toilet that had a leak they charged $145. I will not be returning there or would I recommend their business to to anyone. read more

do not buy from these people. eric calls you a little bitch after you ask for your money back. the camper did not fit my pickup, stood off the front 12". they told me to build a box in the front to deal with that offset. they scratched the inside of the wheel wells. drilled hole in my bumper to attache bumper buttons and then charged me $300 for them. what was i to do, take them out and have holes in my brand new bumper. when i asked for my $300 back he called me a little bitch and was yelling at the top of his lungs and then hung up on me. f bombs were dropping by him like rain. do not do buisness with these people. read more

Bought an RV here 2 weeks ago. It developed a water leak so took it back to their shop for repairs. Was in the shop for a week. Brought the camper home to plug it in again as the batteries were dead, and the power cord was missing. Called the shop, no one reported finding it . Went over to talk to the owner of the business.. his name is Eric.. and he wouldn't do anything but sell us another $100 power cord! He then accused us of fabricating the story, and called us liars and told us to leave his business. He then called the police to have us removed!! What the H---! This guy is a jerk! Do not buy anything from them! He is a bully, and I feel very sorry for his employees if that's how he treats his customers read more

If I could leave one star I would. First, the sale was a nightmare, they went back on our signed buy/sell agreement. Next be bought our camper and after being told it was gone over with a fine tooth comb it was all working, had to wait weeks to get the camper because apparently it was not all working. Then when we finally got our camper it had a major roof leak. Not only did they know about the leak, but did not tell us. They repaired water damage, but did not fix the leak. Bought as/is so nothing won't do anything. They don't care. Now we are stuck without a generator and have to replace the roof on the camper. This place is awful. I would prefer to not give this business ANY stars, but if I must then "1" would be the highest I could give. I took our trailer in for a water leak in the beginning of this summer. When I went to pick up the camper I was told the problems would be corrected and the total bill was $516. We have extended warranty insurance on our camper and I was told they had checked with our insurance company who they claimed had refused any sort of payment. I paid their bill and then called my insurance company questioning why they had not covered anything, only to find out that a claim had not been filed by Billings RV when I had been told by Eric that they had done so. I filed the claim myself and was reimbursed a portion of the repair bill. We continued to have a leak both in and out of the camper. I took it in a 2nd time and was told it had been taken care of. No charge, however, we continued having a leak and the same issue. I took it back a 3rd time and was told by Eric that they would have to re-do once again the fill tube and the charge would be $280 for the repair. I questioned this with Eric, given the fact that I had already paid him for this type of work and the leak had not been resolved. He immediately became hostile, ultimately calling me a liar about the entire issue. At that point, I called him on the fact that he had lied about initially calling our insurance company. There was no resolution at that point other than he said to come get your camper off our lot and don't come back. Sadly enough this gentleman seems to be the general manager for Billings RV. Very poor way to run a business. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

We had good results. Another RV place told us (after a hail storm), with water pouring inside, they'd fit us in "next fall." Billings RV fit us in, good service and done quickly. We had to find it in outside parking ourselves, but that was only issue. We only go there, now! Will be calling this year, I'm sure. read more

We were travelling through Billings and had an issue with the plug from the trailer to my truck. The brake lights and turn signals didn't work. I called several RV places in Billings and was told each time that they had a two week to two month backlog. I talked with Tyler at Billings RV and explained the problem, telling him I was in a jam. He said he didn't have any technicians that could help me but that the problem was easily resolved if I could do the work. I went to their place and he showed me the part I needed, demonstrated how to repair it, gave me the tools I needed, and then checked on my progress while I worked on it in his parking lot. Between him, the receptionists, and his manager the customer service and care were exemplary and outstanding. I can't begin to say enough phenomenal things about them!!!! I insisted on paying more than just the part and Tyler finally relented and reluctantly charged me an extra $10 for the use of the tools I borrowed. I'm not sure why these other reviews had some issues, but I can tell you if I lived in Billings, these guys would be where I brought my unit when I needed service or repairs. I agree with the other critical comments posted. This owner is the rudest person I have ever dealt with, and possibly a crook. We had warranty work done on a refrigerator. After several months to get the work done we were billed an extra $550 dollars. None of these charges were brought to our attention. When I confronted him over the phone on what I would call "trumped up charges", he called me "a lying bastard". We paid the bill to get our camper out of there, but we will never go back. This is the first critical review I have ever written on any business. I would not recommend this business to anyone for anything! read more

This owner was the rudest person I've dealt with in a long time. I needed a breaker for my 62 Shasta camper. He said he could order me one for $49. That's a lot to pay, and I could have put it toward a new breaker box all together. But instead, not wanting to deal with putting in a whole new breaker box, I went ahead and had him order it. When it came to pick it up on Friday, it was an old used breaker that was dirty and well worn. The owner was not there to talk to when I picked it up, but the employee I was dealing with told me to just bring it back in on Monday and the owner would take care of it. He agreed that it was obviously an older used breaker. So I came back Monday as I was told. This man would not return my money and swore at me saying he only sells new parts, and that I must have switched it. The employee whom I had originally dealt with disappeared into a back room and would not come out. I asked him to check with the guy who I had dealt with on Friday, but he became enraged and told me to leave his store. I left the breaker on the counter and started to leave. This is when the owner threw the breaker at me barely missing me and shouted at me to leave. I have since found the same breaker on EBay for under $30. (New- after market). I recommend anyone avoid the hassle with this very angry man and take your business anywhere else. read more

Took my trailer in to fix crank up vent and skylight which were broke in the last hailstorm. went in to pick trailer up and was shocked at the "additional" $475 dollar charge for a crack in the roof joint that he claimed they fixed. when I questioned this "upcharge" he said - " I wouldn't feel right with this leaving here without it being fixed" so I said - " I didn't authorize this to be fixed" ( insurance adjuster had just been up there the week before to look at damage and said the roof looked good except for the broken vent and skylight) at this point the Service manager ( I think his name is Eric ) said " I guess we can do it for free" my response: "perfect, then do it for free" he became angry and started yelling at me and even accused me of lying about authorizing the "extra" work to be done. ( which I did not ) I told him that someone could have called me and asked if I wanted it done. ( there used to be a guy by the name of Steve who worked there and ALWAYS called if they had found something that may need repair) he said he didn't care about Steve and I said I had been bringing my trailer to them since it was new in 2005 and he said he didn't care about that either. he accused me of wanting something for nothing and said for me to leave and they were going to "RIP OUT" the repair and they would call me back in a few hours. ( so he really didn't feel right about letting the trailer leave without the repair getting done? his words! ) he really wanted the additional charge that I did not authorize! I will not take another trip to these guys. Must have changed ownership within the past few years. like I told him, I was selling the trailer anyways and was fixing what the insurance company had deemed needed repair On a side note: his hail damage estimate for repairs was $11,000 dollars ( over the phone, after they looked at it ) the insurance estimate was $6,000 dollars no up-charging there. read more
