Our first meeting was an everything on the table explanation of my business, how it works, what we do well and what concerns I have. I think most businesses in the 1 million to 10 million range who don't have a full time lawyer on staff have some concerns or questions. Finding a lawyer/business adviser who helps businesses my size was great, I think he is in a really unique niche. We decided to tackle these items quarter by quarter. The first major evaluation were the contracts I used with the public. He went through all the major points and the fine print and was able to make my contracts more customer friendly which really gives them more strength. I have several contracts and he was able to tie them all in together and connect them better. I feel pretty good about the contracts I put out now, people understand them and the company is well protected. In our next meeting we evaluated my insurance and discussed where there were some potential exposures. He used to work for State Farm before he was a Lawyer, so he really understands all the lingo used and can help me understand what is and is not covered. Every year I buy a huge umbrella, but was shocked by all the limitations that are attached to it in the legal jargon. I will be asking him for assistance when my next renewal occurs. Our last meeting was a review of my employee new hire forms, Corporate Minutes, Employee Handbooks, plans for growth and general questions I had. He was very patient and answered every question. I took a long time, but he was not clock watching, I felt I got everything answered thoroughly. It's just not legal advise you get from him, it's great business advise. He finds out what makes your business ticks and tries to put you in the best possible position to succeed without exposures. When you build a business, you don't want to leave yourself vulnerable simply because you are scared to hire the lawyer who just wants to bill and drag things out, so like me, most people don't. Robert is not the typical lawyer you are worried about, he's smart, fair and a good guy. He was a great find, I highly recommend him.

While I have no knowledge of his will and estate planning expertise (Fortune 500 lawyers usually don't produce wills for company employees), I am confident that any small business who uses Robert's services will benefit from his expertise.

I am writing this review for the excellent service provided to us by David Cardenas. He was polite,…read moreknowledgeable, honest and best of all - he was able to resolve my concerns. I accidentally dialed the Woodbury store's number thinking I was calling the Quail Hill location. I intended to downgrade my service because as we all know, the rates are getting ridiculously expensive every year. Over a week ago, a rep at the Quail Hill location quoted us $ 90 to keep internet only. Prior to speaking to David, I called & spoke to a female representative from the Retention Department to see if they can lower my bill and I was told by the rep that those promotions have expired. She was trying to convince me that even with the higher rate at $ 217, that this was the best deal available, and that the promotion extended to me before was no longer available as they were taking a loss on those. I then asked for the $90 internet only pricing quoted by the Quail Hill rep and this female rep added another $ 45 to the $ 90 if I wanted to just keep the internet so over $ 150 for internet at 150 mbps. That was when I dialed the Woodbury store by mistake and David Cardenas picked up the phone. I explained my situation and he quoted me a price of $ 87 for my internet service bundled with HomeLife and the price will be guaranteed for 24 months. When my husband and I showed up the following day to pick up the modem, David confirmed it is $ 87 and no other catch. I had spoken to multiple people and nobody at Cox (store, chat or phone support) gave me this option. Everyone I spoke to (before David) provided a much higher price. We also asked David to price a package with TV as well, and his quote was a lot lower than the others. Kudos and thank you so much David! Cox needs more people like you.

I had a non-scheduled meeting at this factory owned Verizon store and met with Kha. Kha did a…read moregreat job giving me a fast quote on the new phones I was looking at and was super patient. Kha gave me his number and I checked later that day to see if he was going to be in the next day. I showed up, Kha was there and he patiently gave me another quote and was able to get me a better deal than I was originally quoted. Kha said I'd love him (platonically of course) and he ordered the phone for a few day delivery and it showed up the next day at my house no extra charge (what is that?). Kha also said he'd help me transition from T-Mobile if I didn't understand the conversion (super nice). The only downside is that the Verizon phone instructions left a lot to be desired but I eventually figured it out.

The customer service is overall pretty bad at this store. I was there for over two hours and they…read morewere not able to help or accommodate me in any way. I went because cellular service for my son's Apple Watch hadn't been working. They said I should just open a new line and that's the easiest way to fix it. I said fine. They opened a new line and reset everything and STILL couldn't get it to work. When I asked them to cancel the new line since it didn't work they said they couldn't and that I had to call Verizon (while I'm literally sitting in the store). I got passed to 3 people over the course of two hours. They made me wait 20 minutes between the second and third rep while they kept helping new customers. They told me the second rep had to help others since they had appointments and their overall wait time was growing too long but "don't worry, our closers come in soon so if you wait for them they'll help you". How does that make sense when I was second in line when I first arrived and by this time everyone else that they were helping came in after me? So I went and grabbed lunch for 20 minutes and came back. There was a "manager" that just walked around on an iPad telling people how long the wait would be. When I asked why the manager directly why he wasn't helping customers at all, he replied that he isn't "a sales rep" so he couldn't do it. He literally walked back and forth around the store and to the back office and back. He literally only greeted new people. I did not observe him helping a single person while I was there. Got to the point they couldn't troubleshoot my cellular options and I said I would just upgrade my device and just pay since they couldn't figure it out. They tried process for a new Apple Watch and got an error multiple times. At that time I knew things were going nowhere and just left. I am in charge of operations at work so I could not believe how this store was being run. Staff need to be trained in customer service, management needs to be trained in management! They had plenty of staff but absolutely no sense of urgency. The Verizon customer service that I called over telephone on the way home (based overseas) was infinitely more helpful than anyone from this store.
