I've been a CA resident for 18 years, and a Ramona resident for 15 years. Ramona tire has been my go-to tire supply store for all my truck and trailer needs for over 12 years, maybe 15 years. My wife experienced a flat tire in her 2010 Toyota Camry, west bound out of town on the 67. She installed the donut spare after pulling off down a side street, drove the half mile/mile to Ramona tire pros, arrived at 4:40 and was turned away after it was explained to my wife and I that there was too little time to replace the flat with a fresh tire on the wheel. The associate and point of contact was Ashley. I asked if they could simply swap the tires on the wheel and I would drive down in my pickup and place the tire on the vehicle myself. Ramona tire Pros was presented with an opportunity to be "The Hero", instead they turned my wife 'n kids away because they refused to turn their air compressor back on maybe work 5-10 minutes over time and save the day. Again they said there was too little time. We end up making a phone call, park the vehicle in the parking lot, I pick them up, drive to Poway Discount tire, pick up a freshy, drive back 'n replace the tire myself in the parking lot. I'm moving on after 12/15 years. Discount tire is now my go-to nation wide tire supply store. I will say, if Brad was there, they would have done the work and helped me out instead of giving an excuse. Super disappointed and shocked. The owner is great, the employees are not. Moving on. I'm fed up with the employees at both Oil-Changers and Ramona Tire Pros. The employees at both of these businesses are kids that care very little. They've lost a loyal customer. A little effort and professional pride goes a long way, unfortunately that's rare these days. ** Feb 11, 2026 ...this is why I am now loyal to Discount Tire. As long as I'm in the door by six, they will help me. They are nation wide as well. Ten minutes, the tire was already off the vehicle. In the time it took the manager and staff to turn my wife and kids away, the work could have been done. It wasn't necessary to place the tire back on the vehicle. This is laziness in my opinion.

Can't recommend this place and Shawn enough!…read more I bought a used car from a dealership up here and it turned out to be a lemon. Shawn took my call when I first called the shop, and gave me some knowledge on the code I was having before I even brought it in. They worked so hard during the diagnostic for this car, and their complimentary full point inspection has seriously saved me. They found an oil leak and coolant leak that was not disclosed upon purchasing, and did an extended, cold-morning test drive to double check a few things. Their exhaustive inspection and work to find the source of the leaks is so invaluable to me. One of the best parts of this place (along with the wonderful people that work there and their adorable office dogs) is their online customer portal that they update in real time as they work on their vehicle. I was able to remotely approve and deny suggested repairs all online, could even chat with Shawn our service advisor, AND they take extensive photos and attach them to anything they advise to be worked on. I have been so put through the wringer at other mechanics once they talk to me and realize I'm a woman and I genuinely felt so at ease working with them here. I was laid off and don't have the money to work on some repairs, but Shawn said to come in whenever and we can work on making a timeline of repairs so I can visualize it and we can start knocking things out here and there where I can afford it. I cried at their kindness in an otherwise really awful moment for me. Definitely take your car here!!!

A special thank you to Lizzy for setting up my first appointment and being so respectful, patient, and genuinely listening to me when I needed to vent. Melissa, you always go above and beyond! You're always ready to help, and you truly know how to treat people with kindness and respect. This was my first time meeting Travis, and he was just as welcoming, helpful, and professional. The entire atmosphere of the shop was wonderful--clean, welcoming, and filled with people who genuinely care. You can tell the staff treats each other like family, and that same kindness extends to every customer who walks through the door. Growing up in a small town, I really appreciate that feeling of community. The fact that the head foreman already knew who I was just from hearing my name says a lot about how connected and caring this town is! I truly appreciate all work, time, and effort everyone put into making sure I had a great experience. You didn't just gain another customer--you gained a customer who will absolutely be coming back.
