Worst experience with a dealership I have ever had. Rude people. Especially Travis in the service department. No interest in customer experience. Avoid this dealership. Drive over the Donner Pass if you have to. Just a word to the wise, if you bring a car in for service and get a loaner vehicle, make sure to inspect the tires for nails! If you have a flat and bring it back, they will make you buy a whole new tire! Unbelievable read more

I debated with myself whether I would write a review of my troubles with my used Touareg I bought from them, I was assured a 90 day 9000 mile warranty, which turned out to be a lie, I noticed coolant was disappearing, but never was found on the floor or anywhere else, I called the dealership to find out if this could be looked at & fixed & they basically were like nope, they said it was a mistake that I was told there was a warranty 90/9000 and the issue of saying this would be addressed with the employee, and I'm like ok, but that doesn't fix my problem, and the end results was, they wouldn't do anything & everything they told me was just to sell me the car, and that the repair cost me an additional $4000 to fix the leak issue, which was identified as a common issue on these turbo diesels, Yeah I should have done a PPI, but I wanted to have faith in dealerships again, but sadly they still do/say what they can to make the sale and nothing more, my reason for this particular car was I needed a tow vehicle that could tow over 7000lbs and still fit in my garage, it is not a common vehicle, if you want to trust a dealership, I would trust Dolan Lexus, I have bought cars from them before and they have always corrected any issues and have always been upfront, its too bad they didn't have the car I wanted, I also paid cash for the car and I know most dealerships make their money on the financing, oh well, I won't ever be doing business there again, either will my adult children and all of our family in Reno, I have made them all aware & now I hoping to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the community. read more

I can confidently say that this place and its employees put most other car dealerships in this city to shame. A few weeks ago I purchased my first car from Bill Pearce, which was a used Toyota RAV4. Naturally, there were some questions that arose during the sales process, such as what I should do if something were to go wrong with the car soon after I bought it. Would they take care of it, or tell me to pound sand like most other dealerships would be inclined to do when buying an as-is used car? The salesman, Scott, assured me that they would do what they could to make it right. I figured I'd hope for the best. When I was ready to buy the car, I noticed that (through no fault of anyone) there were tiny tar splatters all over the hood and left side of the car. It's likely that it was driven past a construction site at some point. One of the employees named Alex came out and helped me remove it with a buffing wheel and polishing compound. He didn't have to do that, so I greatly appreciated it! I drove it off the lot without issue and they even knocked $600 off the price due to some minor cosmetic damage on the car. I was skeptical at first about Scott's assurances, but all doubt was removed when my car started to have problems with the paint chipping almost immediately from a small area on the hood. I suspect it had to do with the insulator on the underside of the hood coming off, which then caused the heat from the engine to heat up the hood and make the paint bubble/chip. I realize that I should have checked under the hood before I drove off with the car. I only found out when I got home and found the insulator sitting on top of the engine instead of being attached to the underside of the hood where it belonged. I do not blame Bill Pearce for any of this. I now know for a fact that they would have fixed this immediately if they had known too. I told Scott and their used car manager, Joseph, about the issue and he immediately told me to bring it in to them. As someone with a marketing degree, I can tell that these men deeply care about their reputations and first impressions. I showed them the paint chips and bubbles (which had spread over the course of a week) and brought back the detached hood insulator. Joseph told me to leave the car with them, no questions asked. Well I went down and picked up the car from them yesterday (as of when I wrote this) and I couldn't be happier. Joseph personally touched up the chipped paint, sanded out the bubbles, and applied an even coating of touch up paint to the damaged section. He also clear coated it. Not only that, he personally fixed the hood insulator, cleaned it, and securely attached it to the bottom of the hood. Speaking of which, the hood also had some residual tar splatter on it that I had been meaning to get to, but have not yet found the time. Well, not anymore, because Alex removed all of the remaining tar! Not only that, but they also polished the headlights which had been a bit fogged up when I bought the car! None of this was charged to me. I made sure to thank each of them profusely for the superb service they have given me. Most other car places would have blown me off if I came back to them with even half of the problems I did. These people care about what they do and they care about making sure the customer has a good buying experience. They definitely wanted my first car to be perfect. While the car certainly had a couple problems, I did not have to stress over them at all because the people at Bill Pearce took care of everything, all while keeping me up to speed the whole time through calls and texts. I will be recommending this place to my friends who are in the market for new or used cars from now on, and I can confidently recommend this business to everyone else who would like a car from people who actually care about their customers. read more

No stars. I bought a new $75,000 car and noticed a scratch on the hood. They said they'd make it right. Well, wrong. After THREE tries to paint the small scratch, and talking to different managers, they started making us feel like it was our fault. (We have photo proof it was there on the lot the day we purchased it.) But, apparently, managers don't talk to one another. We are a BMW family. I purchased my prior one there. We were treated like dirt. Beware buying a car there and possibly having an issue come up. read more

We spent a day with the sales manager, driving a Cayenne and then BMW X5. After some thought, we realized we liked the x3BMW. The dealership had some in transit and there was one particular one at another dealership we wanted so we asked if they could get it. This is where the service went downhill. We were told we needed to come in and drive an X3 and made several attempts to do so. We made appointments and were told they were busy and no X3 was available to drive. Stood around for half hour to 45 minutes and then came home after asking them to call us when they were ready to help us. Days have passed with no call. We ended up buying from that other dealership out of state and having the car delivered to us. read more

Made an appointment to come in for tire rotations and check up services. Advisor recommended some services when the car system didn't give me the alerts indicating that I need those services. Good thing is, the advisor was not pushing. He gave me time to talk with my husband and we made our decision and it's always nice that they arrange rides for customers. That made things a lot easier. I only gave 3 stars because I'm a little bit upset that they took so long to get my car ready for me to pick up. I dropped off my car at 11:00AM, got a ride back to work at 12:00. Right now at 4:40PM, I'm still waiting for my car. It was good that I asked when came back if they are going to rotate my tires. Advisor said no because we didn't talk about it when I brought my car in. They barely had oil changed for my car after almost 5 hours, because they were busy. Compared to last time when I came in, I'm not very happy for the service over all. read more

I have submitted a few purchase experience reviews about this dealership (always spectacular purchase experiences) and this review is about my terrific service experience with Travis Tebbe. I had done an over the air sofware update on my 2025 X5 M60i and afterward there were some glitches, including loss of Android Auto connectivity. I had an appointment for 11:30 but I arrived at the store at 7:30. Travis took in my car and got right on it. Turned out that there were multiple software glitches and Travis had me speak with the technician to educate me on what went wrong. Much of it was over my head, but I was super impressed that Travis had me speak with the tech so that I could (hopefully) understand. Throughout the few hours that my car was in service Travis kept me informed of progress. He was busy with other customers, yet he kept me informed. First class service. All was covered by warranty. Great purchase experiences (4 vehicles in 5 years) and awesome service read more

This place sucks. I tried to buy a car Friday, but they offer zero customer service. Ended up having to go down to Roseville BMW and getting my car. I don't even want to take it here for service at this point. I'm not sure what the sales people here actually do since they don't negotiate a single dollar for you they don't help you find something. They just expect you to come by and be so dazzled by BMWs that you just open your wallet listen to their BS and buy their car. They tell me there's no room in these cars for any discounts. The profit is too thin. What a joke. Roseville had no problem giving me a good deal. This place didn't try to call me back. They didn't care about my business and the website is a joke. You can't filter anything you can just look at the cars basically and half of their data is wrong. Cars have features listed that they don't have and things they do have art listed. There's no way to filter correctly. You have to look at every single car and then go by the pictures and hope it all matches. The problem is Reno is basically a monopoly for them and they are banking on your laziness. You know somethings wrong when you show up and nobody helps you and you walk around for like 10 to 15 minutes trying to get someone to help sell you a car. Granted, I hate when the vultures pounce on you but this place basically says we don't care. We're the only BMW in town take it or leave it. I didn't mind the 2 Hour drive to Sac, it was nice day anyway. read more

Was searching the whole country for the past 2-3 months to find the car spec'ed out the way I wanted. Finally found it here and the experience wasn't bad at all. Marcus helped me out and was super responsive and provides any information that I needed. He didn't try to play those stupid salesman tactics with me as in "someone just saw the car and they want to buy it". He also was not so pushy at all. I wanted to get an inspection done and he was accommodating with that as well. The whole buying process took a couple days and he was patient and responsive with all the different parts in play. I am located in NY so I had to get my own transportation to get the car delivered and register the car myself. All the paperwork was done and delivered on time. I am now happily enjoying my E43 AMG! If you're looking to buy a car from this dealership, don't hesitate and look for Marcus! Thank you Marcus and the rest of his team! read more

I recently purchased a used BMW from Bill Pearce BMW. They thoroughly inspected it and put new Pirelli run flat tires on it. It was detailed and I took delivery of it on an as is sale basis. The next day I discovered that one of the headlight units had water in it. It was not in the list of things that needed fixing. They not only corrected the items we identified, they also replaced the headlight, which I had priced at over $1,200.00! All at no cost to me. They even paid for a Lyft ride because their shuttle was booked up. Everyone I have dealt with there has been great to work with and ethical in their dealings. That's hard to say about most dealerships. If you go, ask for Terril, she's the best! read more

I just purchased a 2025 BMW X5 from Helen B and it was an exceptional experience. Helen is a sommelier (formerly of a 3 star Michelin restaurant in SF), and she brought that knowledge and service orientation to the breadth of the transaction. Once we selected the vehicle we wanted, a good deal was quickly struck. From there, Helen greased the skids and personally supervised the Financing, Training, and Delivery elements of the transaction. She was a delight to work with, and truly felt like an old friend by the end of the process. I will go out of my way to buy my next vehicle from her. Highly, highly recommended! read more

So nice of the manager to respond. Let me clarify his misinformation. WE requested a refund and that gentleman that was with me was my husband. He was absolutely not verbally aggressive. Your staff were the ones that were verbally aggressive and my husband merely responded to their unprofessional conduct. Awful customer service. I went to test drive and look at a used car up for sale here. It was a great deal, I was treated very well in the store, and was indeed interested in making an offer on the car. After a week or so of thinking and figuring out finances, I reached out to the manager regarding a mechanical question. The manager, instead of responding with the answer to my question, responded by asking me personal questions about if I had talked to my family, accountant, etc. about financing the car. I felt this was very bizarre for the MANAGER to do. As if he was withholding information on the car to get personal information from me... very inappropriate. I politely sent an email to the dealership explaining what happened and that I was disappointed because I did want to purchase said car. They never responded to me and lost my sale. Do not shop here unless you like being treated like a joke, the staff was bizarre.. all checking out my trade in and talking secretly in the back (assuming about me because I was the only customer in at the time.) Bill Pearce BMW - A longtime loyal customer who is patient and spends 10's of thousands of dollars HERE and is just abused, to my BMW and myself! - Car Dealers Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I would NOT purchase a vehicle from BP. They have good service and I have had my BMW serviced there. 5 stars for service. 1 star for sales. As sales are way more expensive than service it's 2 stars overall I have tried to purchase a new BMW there 2x. Unsuccessfully. 1st time I asked the dealer to honor the nationally advertised price on the BMWUSA website. They would not... not even close . Then I asked if they would honor the Costco purchase plan. ( millions of vehicles have been bought via Costco Pre negotiated pricing). They said they do not participate in Costco pricing. So I bought my BMW at a different dealer who actually did BETTER than the nationally advertised price by 90$/month. Today I tried to buy another BMW. Mike who I dealt with let me know I could not have the nationally advertised price. He was clear I could order a car today and leave a deposit .... and when the car arrived they would negotiate the price which would be unknown! Although the national website gives the actual pricing he says "that could change" before the car was delivered. Needless to say BP did everything they could today to not sell or order a car. My recommendation is to email 4-5 BMW dealers with the car you wish to purchase and get guaranteed internet pricing if it's a new vehicle .... and compare to the nationally advertised MSRP. BP BMW won't guarantee a price on a car ordered today with deposit till delivery. read more

I cannot speak for the service department as I am new to BMW, but I will say that the sales department gave me superb service. I ordered an X5-45e SUV wayyy back in March with Marcus. This car was on allocation and I expected to wait for my car to be delivered. It took 4 months, but our salesman Marcus always kept me up to date on its progress. We cut our deal way back in March but a deal was a deal. At delivery time there were no funny games and everything was 100% above board and honest. I was also impressed by Nadeem (the finance manager) that he has been with Pierce for 20 years. A company that treats their employees as valued assets will be more likely to treat their customers as valued asset as well. Marcus spent a bunch of time explaining this new and technologically complex car to us, and more important said that we should come back any time that we have questions. Car buying can be challenging and especially switching to a different brand that you are not familiar with, but my experience with Marcus at Bill Pierce BMW was absolutely excellent. read more

My husband and I have spent months going to just about every car dealership in town. My husband called me Goldilocks because I kept finding things wrong, and I was looking for something juuuust right. And I finally found it at BMW! Originally we started at the Volvo dealership. We were greeted and helped by David Micheil through the whole process. I went in to look at the Volvo XC 60, and fell in love with the V90. However, the price tag hurt to even think about. David must have seen the mix of love and pain in my eyes because he immediately suggested an alternative. He walked us over to the BMW side and showed us a slightly used 2016 BMW 328D. It was love at first sight. I knew I wanted this car, but I needed time to make sure. I asked David if they were open on Sundays and he said yes and gave me his card. There was no pressure for me to buy on the spot, and it felt really nice. But! I didn't wait until Sunday. We left the dealership, got lunch, and headed right back; this Goldilocks had found her perfect car and I couldn't wait any longer! The rest of this process was quick and easy. After signing paperwork they filled up my tank, and David was waiting to show me how the whole car worked. He spent 30 minutes showing me every button, and it was so helpful! Thank you David and BMW for the perfect experience! read more

Went there excited to buy a Jeep Compass had cashiers check in hand to make the purchase but was treated as if it were a bother to be waited on not to mentioned the price of the vehicle went up by a couple of thousands once the managers got involved. Absolutely the worst BMW dealership in three states. The customer service is atrocious. When I walked into the dealership I was treated rudely. I was wearing my work clothes so I was judged immediately. I worked with a salesman named Jerry. He was awful. By far the worst salesman I dealt with in the Reno area. After trying to work out a deal on an M240i, Jerry had the nerve to question my integrity on a quote I got from Audi of Reno. I was so offended I purchased a fully loaded Audi A4 instead. Oh it gets better. Just a few days ago I went back to this horrific dealership to get information to buy an M2. I left my information with a different salesman. I was never contacted back. There loss I just ordered an M2 from a Bay Area dealership. BMW's are great cars, but Bill Pierce BMW of Reno is terrible. If you decide to purchase a BMW do your self a favor and call Nielo BMW in Sacramento. Back in 2015, my wife and I went to purchase a new X5. We wanted two specific options, the automatic cruise control and the hyper adjustable sport seats. The salesman showed us the a car and explained it had these options. We decided to purchase the car. During the signing process, we were informed we needed to purchase $500 "key insurance", which covered the keys in the event they were lost or damaged. We were in a bit of a hurry, and we had frankly spent too much time at the dealership already, so I decided it was worth it to purchase the ridiculously over priced insurance to get out the door and not be late for a cello concert we were to attend. When driving the car shortly thereafter, I tried repeatedly to get the automatic cruise control to engage, and it never would. A trip back to the dealership to find out this car does NOT have the feature, one of the two options we said were our requirements for purchasing the car. I explained the salesman assured me it did, and even showed on the window sticker the options group in which he said it was included. The dealership management said the salesman had already been fired, and since we had a few hundred miles on the car there was nothing they could do. Flash forward to last week: my daughter graduated from college and already had a job offer as a NICU nurse at a local hospital. The day I moved her back from school, she decided she wanted to go look at a new Porsche Macan, which is sold by the same dealership at which we bought the BMW a couple of years ago, We were looking at a car, when a salesman came up and asked (rather gruffly) if he can help us. (Admittedly we looked a bit disheveled after the move.) We said we were just looking at this point. When we went to look at the next car on the lot, we heard the "click" of the door locking as we approached. The dealership obviously locked the doors from inside the building. We went back to the original car... again "click". They locked us out of the original car as well. I will NEVER AGAIN step foot onto this lot. I should have learned my lesson the first time, when I was overcharged for worthless "key insurance" and lied to about the options on the new car I purchased. read more
