My husband eats at Bill Miller several times a week. It's a good, consistent meal. The service is hit or miss, but they're usually pretty friendly. Definitely make sure you check your order, especially if it's to go. I got half bbq chicken with a salad. The chicken was moist and the salad was fresh. My husband got a sausage link and green beans...the green beans are cooked with tomato and are very good. They have complimentary rolls, rye bread and pico de gallo. The tea is always great, of course! read more

San Antonio location, 1303 Vance Jackson Rd, has the most ugliest, nastiest crew. I unfortunately have to keep coming to this location because it's the only one by my work. On multiple occasions, they do not greet anyone, they ignore you when picking up mobile orders. I've had multiple interactions where the employees are not doing anything, and can not even acknowledge the customers. Not only myself but diners as well. Or if even if they're busy some just look at you in disgust. I have always greeted my customers when I worked fast food. I would expect the same courtesy from Bill Millers. When I was in high school working fast food, the expectation from Bill Millers was so high. read more

Tried the fried chicken the other day. WAS AMAZING!!. so good. Barbecue is pretty good to. Took a chance at the chicken. First time. Buying my fried chicken from you. Hands down was really impressed. It just tasted really good. Can't really put in words. read more

We hade the fried chicken and fries. The chicken was very good, but the fries were not hot. I'm sure they'd have been delicious if they had been a bit more fresh. The food on its own would get four stars, but the service from the young man who took our order was beyond terrible. It certainly seemed he did not want to be there. He was cranky, very short, and condescending. He did not thank us for ordering, just said "it'll be right out." The young man who brought our food to the table just dropped it off and walked away. We visited at 1:00 pm on June 29. It's a shame, because the food was good. The one star rating is absolutely due to the service. read more

Fresh out of major surgery, stuck on bed rest, crying in pain at 4:30 a.m., and all I wanted was Bill Miller this evening to make it all better. Unfortunately, my DoorDash driver thought, "Eh, close enough" and left my food THREE FLOORS UP!!! I'm in a new apartment so I double & triple checked that the apt. number on my order was correct, YES! Did it eventually get to my apt? NO! Did they fix it? NO! Did they refund me? Also, NO! Instead, DD argued with me while I literally sat starving, disappointed, and unable to walker myself 3 flights up and down. I was left to imagine my deliciously mouthwatering chicken dinner and sweet tea living its best life in someone else's apartment. If I wanted to pay $$$ to be hungry and miserable, I'd have just stayed in the hospital. Sorry, ZERO stars for my favorite go-to when I'm starving -- Leaving this as a Bill Miller review since I used their DD link to order, and because if you live in Boerne, in an apartment, and think your gonna use their "convenient" app to order, think twice -- someone make it right & I'd gladly change my review. #DashAndCrash #EpicDeliveryFail #DoorDashDisaster #WhereMyChickenAt #FeedMeDontCheatMe #starving read more

My husband really liked the hamburger which was cooked when ordered. The toasted buns and fresh lettuce tomatoes pickles and onion complemented the burger well. The service was great and always with a friendly smile. The eating area was cool and clean. We visit this location fairly often. We recommend it. read more

Just ate a salami D-lite with turkey, it's as good as their fried chicken, and better than the brisket Plus I don't like their nasty cottage fries, so a salad with chicken or turkey and a ice tea read more

Let's sum it up. Premium pricing for sub standard food. They specialize in serving up gristle with sauce.

Bill Miller nearly had a lawsuit on their hands. I nearly swallowed this bone which looks an awful lot like a chicken bone by the color of the bone, thickness & size of the joint. It was in my WildBill which is Brisket & Sausage!!!! So if a chicken bone was in my sandwich, does that mean there is a chance for cross contamination? I don't normally support Bill Millers anyway because 85% of their food is prepared at their factory off site but I was in a pinch with time constraints so I took a chance. Luck wasn't on my side not theirs, I'll never be back. No I don't want free food either so don't bother. read more

I am SO impressed! First time in and was not sure of what to order. Ordered the po'boy and it was good however wasn't in love. Unbeknownst to me a team member was sitting next to us and heard me telling my friend she got up and immediately asked if she could change my plate for me! Who does that? Nobody ever cares like that anymore! She replaced my meal with a soup and made my day! Thank you for the customer service! I wish I would've got her name. If you've never been, you should try it! They have a customer for life in me! read more

The service here is some the best in the industry. It's cafeteria style ordering but the cashiers and support staff rival some of the best restaurants I've been to. And yes, I've been to Michelin starred restaurants and the people here make sure you are taken care of. Thank you. read more

Very disappointed that this location doesn't have a baby changing station in either the women's or men's restroom. Boerne is a family city and while I was dining in with my kids, had no where to change my child except for my own lap on the floor. It's a simple 1 time investment that serves a huge portion of our community. Best of all discovered this on Mother's Day morning while eating with my family. Super disappointed by their lack of consideration for parents and their children. read more

Shout out to the team at Bill Miller BBQ for outstanding customer service! It's so nice to have a meal in pleasant surroundings. The team members at this Bill Miller location give a hearty welcome to folks dining-in and great greetings to customers at the drive thru window. Most recently, the young lady working the drive thru window had such great energy that I drove off with a smile on my face. Thank you for adding personal touches. Their servings suck. Often they forget items in your order and the servings are low. I am often still hungry after eating here. Food is ok. Employees often have a bad attitude. My family and I have been eating at Bill Miller's for years but last night we were very disappointed I ordered ribs and it looked like something you get out of a treat bag for a dog and like it had already been chewed on so I kindly ask them can I just replace this one rib that was truly horrid the manager came back to the table and he said here's your ribs and I was like I only asked for 1 rib, he goes well I just went ahead and made you a whole another plate ok. There was no apology whatsoever just blatantly just threw it on the table and just walked away the rudest manager I have ever seen and the food tasted old it is not my fault I asked for one rib to be replaced this is not the Bill Miller's I'm used to and my sons used to work at Bill Miller's and they said it is totally gone downhill thanks a lot Bill Millers of Boerne, missing my Fritzie's right now read more

We have been going to Bill Miller BBQ all of our life. Today, they advertised in the restaurant a pulled pork sandwich. Ok, we'll try it. It was the worst....dry, dry, tough, dry. One of the sides was wrong but they did correct it. I still can't get over how bad the sandwich was. My husband, who finishes everything, didn't even finish it. Just gross. He got the pecan pie and said it wasn't up to par either. What has happened to Bill Miller?!?! Never get the special I guess cuz the meat could be years old.... read more

I'll start by apologizing if the food I was served was not from this location. I am in a Bible study in Boerne that had Bill Miller cater our year's end with a barbecue supper. Okay, I grew up in San Antonio and of course am familiar with their food. I rarely choose to eat Bill Miller for the obvious reason, it's not very good. The plate we were served was barbecued chicken, beans, potato salad and coleslaw. You would think a food establishment as old as Bill Miller would have learned how to season their food. The chicken was good, but every one of the side dishes was bland, and that's amazing because these are very easy side dishes to make. Our servers were nice and friendly, the food taste issue was not their fault. I'm sure I've said enough, and hopefully someone from that organization is listening. PS: what happened to brisket or sausage for $15 a plate? read more

They can't get an order right. I keep hoping it has improved but have been at least 5 times and every time the order has been wrong. They don't even say sorry when you go back to correct, they hand you the bag annoyed like you are inconveniencing them. Go anywhere else but here. read more

I have never eaten BBQ this bad. Actually, I didn't eat it after a single taste. It was awful. No flavor, tough, and just a mess. Cattle all over Texas are embarrassed by this chain restaurant. Do yourself a favor, save your money and your self respect and eat anywhere else. read more

For the second time this business has shorted my order. The only way they will make it right is if I drive 5 miles to get back there. I have been a Bill Miller customer for many years. BUT it will not be at this location. it is very poor read more

I was truly disappointed. I ordered a two meat plate, brisket, and sausage, two sides of coleslaw and the french fries. When it was served to me, it was essentially meat soup. With the liquid itself being barbecue sauce. The meat was floating in barbecue sauce. I guess at this restaurant the guests don't get to decide how much barbecue sauce to put on their food unless they ask? The brisket meat was too fatty and soaking wet and the sausage was bland and chewy. The coleslaw was tart and, swimming in some sort of vinaigrette? Soup coleslaw. I'm just not a fan of the vinaigrette coleslaw. The french fries were OK. I would not come here again. Maybe this is the way others like food. They've been around since 1953 so they must be doing something right. Just not what I like. read more

The food is always consistent. Service is 100. I love this location. Clean! Will return.

Ordered take out. 3 piece Fried chicken, fries and coleslaw. The chicken didn't look fresh, it looked and tasted old. After one bite I threw away the rest! The fries also looked old and were stale. The coleslaw had no flavor. I usually have a hit or miss, but for all items to be a miss, I was very disappointed spending money on this meal. Never will go back to this location. read more

Food was really good today. ordered chicken fried steak plate with macaroni and cheese and call slaw. The food was tasty and hot and very fresh. This Bill Miller is excellent. We have eaten here several times, and the food is always fresh and delicious. We have also bought our past few Thanksgiving meal family bundles from here, and everything is absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Turkey is moist, mashed potatoes and gravy are tasty. Their stuffing is excellent and the best I've ever tasted. We love all the options for various sides to add to your Holiday Dinner Packs, as well the myriad of everyday options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bill Miller is SO much more than BBQ. read more

The barbecue is pretty darn good but where they truly shine is their fried chicken and fries! Great great chicken at a really great great price! read more

The fried chicken is decent. Crispy and less grease than some other locations. You need to be careful to order the actual chicken pieces rather than the chicken tenders. The ice tea is very good. One down side is that they don't do pork. Well, they do pork spareribs but not pulled pork plates and/or sandwiches. The slaw is OK for a vinegar-based slaw. The brisket was not very appealing. It was very bland and had a consistency of canned meat. The bottom line is that I'll order the chicken the nxt time I go back to Bill Miller's read more
