Did a very good job of tailoring men's jacket and pants. Pricing is ok, reasonable. Get an estimate in writing, tho

He's the best in the west. Costs a bit more, but worth every penny if you want perfect results.

Which means they have no control over how they wash delicate clothing and the items take a lot longer than expected to be ready for pickup. My brand new shirt is embellished with gold monogram flower hardware around the neckline which I specially said please be very careful and gentle with. It came back and guess what???Careless. The hardware has a string that totally fell off and they somehow have punched a small hole on the bottom of the shirt. Like okay my shirt is totally damaged now. If they couldn't have done the job without damaging my shirt, he could've just denied me as a customer. I would've preferred that over a damaged shirt. Come on, get it together. Never again. Def don't recommend this spot unless you don't care abt your clothing.

As a result, my sweaters shrank to the size of an 8-year-old's, and the fur on my Canada Goose coat got shrank and damaged from the wet and dry process. When I returned the items, they offered to enlarge my sweater back to its original size, but it didn't work, and the coat's fur collar was further damaged. I found out they outsource the cleaning to a third party, which doesn't seem to properly care for the items, with no quality control. For many years of using dry cleaners, this has never happened--no one would ever water-wash cashmere or down coats. I won't be coming back to this store. I don't recommend this store to any family and friends!

    Armeene's Tailoring & Alterations

Armeene saved my wedding day!…read more I originally bought my dress from a local bridal shop that promised many customizations. They phoned it in for all of them. Sloppy work for everything. Some of it was ignorable or blended in enough to ignore, but specifically a belted area around the waist ended up noticeably sloppy and wider than I wanted. They made a bunch of excuses and shooed me out the door. I couldn't even look at the dress without being mad - not a great wedding day vibe. Armeene came to my rescue with only two weeks left until the wedding! She was clear with me that it would be difficult to pull off - the dress was constructed in a way that made the customization difficult (why did the dress shop even promise it?? Ugh). Not only did she and her assistant understand exactly what I wanted and pull it off nearly perfectly, they did it in only two days for a price that I found to be more than fair!! I will forever be grateful to her. The next time I need some pants hemmed or altered I'm heading her way again! I've attached some before and after pictures to show the magic!

I was very comfortable and had an overall pleasant experience. Armeene did a wonderful job and had it ready at the time we agreed. Because the big day was for January 2025 in Pasadena, the fires had us postpone our date to the Fall. Fast forward to 3 days before the wedding, I noticed my dress was loose on the side due to a little weight loss. I reached out to Armeene and she asked if I could stop by that night. I picked up my dress the day before the wedding and the fit was perfect. My fiance also reached out to Armeene last minute with only a month before the wedding due to my recommendation. She purchased her dress through David's Bridal and had her dress altered in-house. Ever since she brought the dress home, she was not 100% happy with the fit and considering buying another ($!). But after her experience with Armeene, she felt so much better about her dress! Armeene mentioned that the tailoring from David's wasn't done right. Honestly, the fit can make or break how a dress feels and looks. You can tell Armeene loves what she does and it shows with her care and attention to detail. My wife and I are so appreciative of how our dresses turned out and especially touched by how supportive and open Armeene was through the whole process. We felt so comfortable and beautiful on our big day. Thank you, Armeene!

Jenny's Tailoring - Alterations to the train of my dress. The integrity of the shape and design were preserved :)

I needed a bridesmaid dress shortened and another dress adjusted. So after looking up Yelp reviews,…read moreI found Jenny and tried to call to see if they were open (COVID period). No one answered but I drove there anyways since the store hours indicated it was open. Street parking was available and it wasn't that hard to find a spot. Inside the store, there was a changing room available for customers to change in. Afterwards you would step out to have alterations pinned in front of a big mirror. When I shared concerns and what my desired outcome was for the dresses, she was able to quickly make suggestions. She was a seasoned tailor because the end results were impressive. Afterwards she gave me a very reasonable quote so I happily filled out some contact info and left my dresses with her. There was an agreed upon pick up date but I forgot to write it down. But that wasn't an issue, I went in when I remembered and my dresses were ready and waiting. I am happy with the service and alterations. The only note I would leave for new customers is to forget about calling. I tried on different occasions and no one picked up and the answering machine was full. It's better to check shop hours and just show up! Also her door is sometimes locked (for safety) so don't be afraid to knock loudly if the lights are on.

I left one star because Jenny is great at what she does. However, I have been a client for years…read moreand have consistently overpaid for services. I continue to go back because she does good work and the location is convenient. This past week, I had enough! I took my daughter's prom dress to her to have it cut. She pinned the dress and waited until my daughter removed the dress to inform me that because of the material, it would cost $400 to have it cut. Keep in mind, I've paid $120-$180 in the past for the same services and one of the dresses was very similar to this one. $400 is insane and more than ti paid for the dress!!! I ended up finding a place in DTLA that charged me $80 and they also did a good job. Jenny refused to lower the price and seemed to not care she was losing a loyal customer.

They outsource the leather cleaning and it isn't cheap, but they do a wonderful job. The leather cleaning takes a week. They do have a tailor on site which is super helpful and she also re-attached a few buttons on a wool coat for me. They're courteous here and I've really liked the work that they do. The location is convenient as well - there are other businesses right around there that serve good food in case you get the munchies while you are doing errands.

Here is why: Our home was damaged in the Eaton Fire. Our clothes were smoke damaged and had to be professionally cleaned. Our remediation company recommended Concierge Cleaners. In hindsight, I suspect they got a kickback "Shane," (as he calls himself, is apparently the owner of Concierge Cleaners) picked up the hundreds of items to be cleaned. We were unable to live in our house for months, so the transfer of clothes was chaotic. After numerous requests, "Shane" finally gave an estimate which was far less than the amount ($2,533) that they ultimately billed. Among the clothes Concierge took were several expensive coats and suits. We obviously expected them to by dry cleaned. Instead, Concierge threw them in the wash with the underwear and t-shirts. Literally, they were put in a washing machine which ruined the fine wool, then put in a dryer which shrank them. Then they were tightly folded and wrapped with the laundry. The suits and coats were obviously ruined. When we informed "Shane" what happened we assumed he would act professionally and offer to compensate for the damage. When mistakes happen people with integrity take responsibility. But integrity is not "Shane's" strong suit. First he denied ever having the suits and coats. Then he claimed they could be fixed by dry cleaning them. That did not work since the fabric was already ruined and the suits shrunk two sizes. I told "Shane" we would be satisfied if Concierge paid just a fraction of the cost of replacing the suits. We have a lot going on trying to make our house habitable after the fire and don't have time to mess with an incompetent and dishonest dry cleaner. Unfortunately, Shane stopped responding and is now unreachable. So now we have to haul this clown into small claims court to get him to pay for the damage he caused. I have lived in the Pasadena area a long time and know there are good and reputable dry cleaners. Concierge is not one of them. If you want someone who does not know that fine wool suits have to be dry cleaned, lies about what happened to your clothes, and refuses to compensate you when he ruins your best clothes, then you will love "Shane" and Concierge Cleaners.
