They're overcharged me for a simple job, and I ended up with an extra processor. Not a cheap one, a 2nd gen threadripper. Worth about $1200. They offered to sell it for me. After hearing many lowball offers they're not ghosted me when I demanded a fair price or my processor back. They offered me $600 and in a moment of desperation I accepted it, which is what I'm sure they were expecting me to do. However, they refuse to even honor the deal that they had clearly made me. I brought three devices with cracked screens to be repaired by this company - an iPhone, an iPad and a Macbook. First - the service...it took much, much longer to repair the iPad and Macbook than we ever would have imagined (approx. 5 weeks for the iPad and 2.5 months for the Macbook). Called multiple times, and was told that they would call me back, never to hear from them again. For a while, I actually thought that they had just taken my devices and left town. But I eventually reached them. Then when I got the devices back, there were serious problems. Within a few weeks, the screen popped off the one corner of the iPhone and then cracks appeared. They refused to honour their "6 month" warranty, claiming that we physically damaged the phone, but I can guarantee it was in a very high quality case and never dropped. The screen was low quality and just started popping out of the frame. The owner was extremely abrasive to me by email, refusing to honour the warranty and sending extremely long emails complete with swearing and insults about how he would not be fixing it. The iPad screen was also of a very low quality. Horizontal lines are faintly visible running up and down the screen and the screen flashes on and off, unless you are working on a flat surface. I have not tried to take it back in for repair because I don't want to be without a device for another 5 weeks +, and the experience with the iPhone was completely off-putting. The Macbook was repaired with a refurbished screen, which we were assured would be "like new". However, it had multiple dents are large scratches in it. I did not want to wait any longer for them to work on it, so accepted it as is, but was definitely disappointed to get it back in that state. All in all - I would not recommend. They are extremely rude and unprofessional and I have been very dissatisfied with the quality of their work. read more

Here is the story: I was told the ordered part would arrive in 7 to 13 days. It even said so in their written notes. Verbally they told me the laptop will be ready in 3-4 weeks. I patiently waited 7 weeks, no complaints.When I finally called, no one offered any apology or explanation and said their estimates bind them to nothing, told me I'm "yelling" (not at all), and hung up on me. I took my laptop back untouched, brought it to another place and it was ready in under a week. They tried replying on my google review, denying it was Bill (lol) and saying they simply fell behind (for 50 days), and again accusing ME of poor communication skills... Slow and dishonest I will start by outlining the positives. All of the staff I dealt with are courteous and friendly. Positives done. I went to the store with an issue with my computer. I asked for an estimate of how long it would take before a technician could look at my computer and was told four days. It is now two weeks later and since that time I have tried their numerous recommended contact methods to get an update, including text, email and their contact us web form. Absolutely no response. I eventually got through by phone only to be met with some very questionable excuses and the admission they haven't even finished diagnosing my computer. The issue with my device is not hardware related or something like a component replacement. As such there is no waiting for parts etc. It is a issue that realistically should take an hour to correct. seems like this business will take on anything no matter how busy they are, and give unrealistic estimates for repair times. Brought my Ipad there for a simple cracked screen fix, I received the Ipad back a week later. 2 days after use the screen started to peel off and the home button fell off. I brought it back again to fix under warranty. 1 week later I got it back the screen stayed on but the home button never worked properly ever again. My recommendation is to never use this company they obviously dont know what they are doing. read more

I took an iphone in with a cracked screen for replacement. They advertised that the job would be done in 1 day, while finally, after 6 weeks, they called to say I could pick it up. Two days after i got it back, the screen started to buckle and pop out. They said it was not their problem when I complained so I reported them to the BBB. I will never, ever bring in any item--particularly an Apple product--to be serviced or repaired by this company. The appearance of a completely disorganized shop was confirmed by the fact that they took way longer to repair my units than was promised. I had to keep calling and bugging them, leaving phone & email messages that were usually never returned. The other thing that really bothers me about this outfit is that they tout themselves as an Apple repair facility, yet I can find no evidence that they are Apple Certified. They might be more reliable with PCs than with Apple products, so take your Apple hardware to the Apple Store or to a reliable Apple Certified repair depot such as The Mac Clinic. I was quite disappointed with the unprofessional service I received. I gave them my computer to diagnose the problems it was having and after about two weeks, I asked how it was going and got a message saying it was water damaged and wouldn't be worth it to fix it. I got very stressed as an independent student that depends on my laptop for school and certainly was concerned about the financial stress of buying a new computer. However, it is a good thing I didn't immediately buy one because the next day they told me it was a mix up and mine was NOT water damaged. I was pretty understanding with this mistake even though it was very unprofessional and caused me a lot of stress. They then told me their possible diagnosis for what was wrong with my computer and sold me an 8GB ram to fix it, and were nice enough to give me a slight discount on the labour cost (this is after already paying $110 for the diagnosis). The experience got worse, though, because my friend looked at my computer info and told me it only had a 4GB ram in it... I refused to believe it at first thinking the best in people, that no one would take advantage of me like that and put a cheaper part in or even if they weren't doing it intentionally, they wouldn't have made a mistake like that. But I opened up my computer and it was true. Whether it was intentional or not, it is incredibly unprofessional to charge someone for one piece and put something significantly cheaper in. When I told them I noticed their mistake, they apologized and said I could bring it in for them to put the correct piece in but then proceeded to try and sell me more upgrades. I was very frustrated to have to take time out of my busy schedule to go all the way there for them to fix their own mistake after I had been using my dysfunctional computer for a while on a cheaper part than I paid for! When they put the right piece in, I nicely asked to at least be reimbursed SOME of my money for the incredible unprofessionalism and two big mistakes they made and they said no, that no companies would ever give money back for mistakes. This is entirely inaccurate: when Apple incorrectly put a new screen on my boyfriend's phone, they compensated their mistake by giving him a brand new phone. I know this company is not Apple, but for all the stress and inconvenience and possible shady incorrect part placement, the least they could have done is offer a small reimbursement or even a free or discounted service in the future. I don't want to assume anything about them because they could be perfectly nice guys but I felt very taken advantage of and disappointed in the service I received. It gave me so much unnecessary anxiety. I do not recommend going here. Save yourself the possible stress and confusion that I encountered. I hoped for so much more and just left with an emptier bank account and lack of trust in people. I brought in a really expensive earbud that was bitten by my cat the second it fell to the floor. At first, they said that they couldn't fix it, but after agreeing to have a look at the damage, they said that they would attempt to solder a couple wires back to the magnet inside the earbud. It worked! And it didn't cost much, either - $28. I'm really pleased they attempted the work, and also extremely pleased that it only took a couple days to get the earbud back, as I am addicted to my music when I work! read more

This is easily the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I dropped off my phone for a simple power button replacement on Monday. The staff indicated that I'd be contacted within a few hours for an estimate on a time frame and price. They also told me that it would take a maximum of three days. Other than that, the staff has refused to contact me. I have no idea what they're doing with my phone, they are difficult and are now refusing my calls. I brought my iPad mini for a screen replacement. I got it done for 120$ and everything looked fine. A couple of days later ( about two) a crack appeared. I called " bill and Dave" and they said it wasn't their problem. The receipt said differently. Still they wouldn't fix it. I have a brand new survivor case on my iPad and haven't drop it yet so I knew it wasn't by dropping it so I decided to take a better look at the screen. By my surprise, the screen was very poor quality and there was dust under my screen! And a lot of it. So obviously I called back and complained and all they had to say ( in a really rude tone) "we don't have a clean room. That's why there's dust " NO WHERE does it says in the description of the screen replacement page that its not fixed in a clean room or even warns you you might get dust inside your screen. Needless to say I paid 120$ for a randomly cracked screen and a lot of dust inside the screen so thank you so so much for the shitty service guys! read more

Went there to get the plug fixed on my computer because it wouldn't charge. Its a year later now and it doesn't charge anymore so I took it to Staples and they said that who ever fixed it before did a bad job on the soldering that it is no longer fixable. Also last time I was in there inquiring about buying a new computer they helped me for a bit then went in the back to have lunch and just left me there... Please do yourself a favour and save money by not going to this place. Take your Apple products to authorized repair centre. I obviously didn't and took my iPad to this place. The glass looked very nice when it was done, but I should have known something was off when they told me " if the glass pops up from the corner just put super glue on it and push it back". I took it as the worst case scenario thing, but little did I know. Less than a month later, I wake up one day and two corners on my iPad are bulging out and the glass is cracked in both corners - worse than it was when I first brought it for repair. I emailed Bill and Dave, especially since they said that I have 6 months warranty for workmanship and parts, and they say that this is physical damage, not their fault. Which is obviously not true, since my iPad was untouched during the night it happened. The fact that the glass is popping out of the frame and cracking while this is happening is obviously sign of job not done right, however, this company does not stand by their work and their suggestion is to bring it back for repair and pay again, saying I might get some discount! After spending 230 dollars three weeks before this, I don't think so. Be smarter than me and pay extra 50 dollars to have it done by Apple and that way you know you can take it back if anything like this happens. With this company you are pretty much done, as Apple will no longer touch it after these amateurs. read more

I dropped my samsung galaxy and cracked the front screen I had no working phone. I am also out of work so normally I would go buy a new cell phone on a 2 years contract. The cell I dropped I was told it would be 150 to fix or more. I was offered a nokia phone they said it was 75.00. They said they would drop it to 50.00, plus give me 20.00 for my 300 dollar 9 month old samsung galazy that they can obviously resell for 200. I had no options due to money constraints. I was told it was unlocked. When I went to setup a new account with chatter the nokia would not work, It had no call display. I could not add contacts to my texting, but I could text back if someone texted me first. I could make and receive calls. The screen was all black ni color. I was told this cell was 3 years old I was shocked when I looked it up online it stated its a 909 and more like 6 years old. Windows does not support this cell anymore. On the receipt the guy did not state what version this cell was I did not notice until I had issues. I had to get another new phone I bought outright a flip phone for 70. I went back to get my money back I only had the nokia for 5 days and the guy would not return my money. He was like laughing in my face. On the warranty it says you have 7 days. He said you cant return a cell if youdont like it, I said thats not the reason it does not work and I needthat money back.He then kind of threatened me I did not want a problem but I said I will return with my boyfriend. This cell came with no charger and no case imagine this. He took my charger from my samsung and gave it to use for this nokia! I called back the next day and talked to the other owner, at first he was nice but then he also said he wont refund my money. After promising to have my computer fixed within 1-4 business days, they had yet to contact me or even provide a diagnosis or timeline. I had to personally call every day to a receptionist who was unprofessional and unsympathetic. Brought my laptop in for repair at bill and dave. After about 3 weeks, many calls and checking the status of my repair online they finally told me they couldn't find a new motherboard but to give them another day to look and that they would call me the next day. 2 days later I called them since they never called me. They said they found one and gave me their quote. The part arrived about 2 weeks later (not their fault on the delay there) installed it and turned out it was defective. I later found out they simply ordered a motherboard off of ebay ( something i could have done my self) They then asked me if I was still interested in repairing the laptop at which point i said no (had now been 2 months that they had my lapop) that i would go elsewhere. All in all they had my laptop 2 months for them to order a part off ebay. I will not be going back there nor would i ever recomend any one to go there. Also check the ALL Yelp and Google reviews. quite a few negative ones on there too. read more
