Pricy merchandise so I bought a cool skeleton sticker for a souvenir. They have rentals and a shop to make any adjustments or repair on your gear. I had my bindings snap so the technician was able To help with a temporary fix. Plan ahead for a busy day. Food In the lodge cafeteria was decent. They were out of cheese curds that day so they had some cheese triangles that look like Makeshift cheese curds. If you're hungry everything tastes great! Typical of resorts, food is mid to high priced so you can bring your own food if you want to save money. They also have a restaurant for other food and drink options. Parking lot was close by so you can walk to your car not too far even on a busy day. They offer a 3 day flex pass you can use conveniently anytime during the season at any of the three resorts: Granite Peak, Luften, and Snow River for a decent price and if add an extra day it's $69.99 or $70. Lifts are fast so be careful Getting off the lift! Nice view of Wausau at the top! Of the hill!

Later, we check our credit card bill and we were over-charged for $100 in damages, even though everything checked out and was initialed. Again, they refused to credit us despite the spotless check-in and signature of the employee. I've read other reviews that this has happened to others, but I gave them a shot anyway. Lesson learned. My issue was with the Anderson Lake Lodge where my family stayed for two nights between Christmas and New Years. The Lodge itself is very nice and a great place for entertaining. There were a few minor issues such as half the coffee maker not working and no heat in the clothes dryer. Don't where a good swimsuit in the hot tub as it will get bleached out and be careful because the controls are very worn. The big issue was mice. Our first morning there, I awoke to find food items left on the kitchen counter covered with holes and mouse poop. The bottom pan drawer next to the range has mouse poop in it. I actually saw a mouse in the basement both days, including the time it ran at my wife. I understand why mice would gravitate towards a remote home. What I don't understand is why there were no bait stations or traps anywhere to be found. The resort should have a professional exterminator regularly treat Anderson Lake Lodge so no one gets sick.
