This place is quick and easy. I took my bob stroller and jogging stroller in for new tubes and they were done in 15 mins!

Good selection. Little expensive but I got some gear on sale. All in all not too bad. Many locations went to LO and Clackamas

Pleasant Valley

Is there a 0 star rating?…read more Pretty much the worst customer service ever. They sent the wrong frame, and when I sent it back they acted like I was the asshole. Then, they were out of stock of my size for (what they said) at least 5 weeks. I don't wanna wait, so I asked for a refund. This is where the 'fun' starts.... I asked for a refund, and was told they would talk to billing and get back to me the next day. 3 days later, no call. I rang again, they said it was still being processed, should take 48 hours. Called back 3 days later again. Still no movement. (Or info for that matter.) Now I started getting pissed and was pretty much told that I should wait for my size to come in and they'd push it then. No. Way. Why should these pricks keep my money after I've already returned it? I had confirmation from UPS that they got it, and started the run around. After a few more calls, 9 days, and alot of yelling (and alot of assholes who seem to be happier to tell you to fuck off and keep playing guitar hero rather than help) later, I finally got my money. Except it was only the amount for the frame, not the frame and fork. I blew a fucking gasket and had money back in a few days. Go elsewhere. Please. Trust me, it's so not worth the trouble. They like to advertise 'We at Ride-this are a rider owned company.' Well, it looks like they got the most bottom of the barrel, pretentious bikers to run customer service.

This place is the worst. Practically criminal. I placed an order on their website weeks ago, and…read morenow the fork I ordered is the last thing I need for my new bike. The entire time, the fork has been listed as "in stock." I've tried to email and call the place, but I've gotten no answer. The status of the order on their website is "Processing." Ugh. I just want to finish my bike. The company says an awful lot of empty words about supporting the community, but all they seem to be doing is taking our money and giving us all headaches. Great job!

Now that the downtown Portland store is gone, I have to drive to the suburbs to shop at REI. The…read moreClackamas location is stocked with all the usual suspects - bikes, camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking gear. But the swimming sectin is always lacking. Since I swim daily, I'm always seeking replacement goggles or fins - and typically find better options on Amazon, which was the case this day. The layout of this store was a maze with no clear departments or signage. I actually got frustrated and left after realizing I would not find swim gear here, and didn't have the patience to navigate the aisles.

Awesome finds, awesome prices…read more Dropped by here for the first time today! I was told their stock today was pretty full, so I got lucky. Lots of cycling, climbing shoes, winter clothing, and shoes. Their kids/baby section is very small (baby section was nonexistent, but only found one bunting bag for a good price when the item was brand new). I found a new/lightly used kids base layer for $8! My big find today was a pair of Vasque hiking boots, which were originally for $220, but I paid $36! MIND BLOWN. It's brand new and discontinued. They have excellent vibram traction, medium to high ankle support, comfortable and light, and a non-mesh exterior. I could not pass up this opportunity. I also saw many winter coats and parkas on sale for a good price. This is the time to buy your winter items. Also spotted a foldable lightweight kayak, Yeti coolers, pet clothing/accessories, and tons of backpacks displayed and ready for spring/summer trips. The cashier person told me that the backpacking packs will be gone by end of summer. So stop by from time to time to see what's in stock. Quality items at excellent prices.
