Bin schon 2 Mal bei Bike A-way gewesen um mein Fahrrad reparieren zu lassen. Das Fahrrad wurde sehr schnell, innerhalb einem Arbeitstag!!!, repariert, die Preise sind recht fair und die Mitarbeiter ("Morris" insbesonders!! :-) ) sind wirklich sehr nett. Ich musste mein Fahrrad schon mehrmals reparieren lassen und seit dem ich das erste Mal bei Bike A-way war, bin ich nirgendwo anders mehr für Reparaturen hingegangen. Wollte mein Rad mal bei Stadler reparieren lassen, habs dort auch gekauft, und wurde regelrecht weggeschickt weil sie meinten "kauf lieber ein neues Rad", andere Reparaturstätte haben gerne mal 4 Tage gebraucht um meine Kette für 30€ an zu spannen. Bester Laden, bester Service, beste Fahrräder! Am liebsten würde ich gleich noch ein Fahrrad kaufen, wenn ich jetzt nicht schon ein super schickes hätte. Ernsthaft, das Fahrradkaufen hat soviel Spaß gemacht. Die Beratung war hervorragend und auch meine diversen Extrawünsche wurden mir alle erfüllt! Als ich in den Laden kam, kam gerade eine neue Lieferung mit Rädern, da hab ich mir gleich eines ausgesucht. Während mein künftiges Fahrrad noch zusammengebaut werden musste, wurde ich mit Cappuccino versorgt und man kümmerte sich rührend um mein Wohlergehen. What a great place to buy a bycycle! This small second hand shop offers unique and great functioning bicycles, together with an outstanding service. I was lucky to get hold on an old-school Bianchi racing-bike for a more than fair price. I also rushed in five minutes before closing time, asking for guidance to ship my bike by plane. After offering me a beer, Moritz decided to meet me on his day off (1.may), and helped me pack and ready the bike for shipment. The service in this shop is truly on of a kind. It can look a bit expensive from the first sight, perhaps 50€ more than other shops; however, the staff is super friendly, will let you try as many bikes as you want and advice you as a friend. I tried 3 different bikes and all of them worked as a new one. Apart of having better bikes than the competence you get 1 year warranty (forget to worry or get your hands dirty if something breaks), a lock and even a basket if you ask for it. Moreover, if you're a foreigner, they can speak perfect English (they're native speakers) and even a bit of Spanish! Definitely, this is probably the best place to buy a bike in Berlin! read more

Nachdem mein erstes Fahrrad geklaut wurde und mein zweites ständig kaputt gegangen ist, war ich kurz davor es mit den Rädern in dieser Stadt aufzugeben. Auch bei uns- Rad geklaut, Ersatz musste her, rein zu Bike-A-Way und sofort fündig geworden. Ein echt tolles Jugendrad, Stahlrahmen, astrein in Schuß, und zum gewährten Nachbarschaftspreis absolut erschwinglich! Als ein Platten fällig war, Junior sich eifrig an die erste eigene Reparatur machte und etwas übers Ziel hinausschoss beseitigte Tom im Laden umgehend hilfsbereit die Folgen. Ein kleines Schwätzchen gibts immer dazu, freundliche Menschen geben sich dort die Klinke in die Hand, und wer ein schickes, bezahlbares neues Rad sucht kann dort auch gut fündig werden. Super Gebraucht Bikeshop mit großartigem Service und 1 Jahr Garantie! Hab Anfang des Jahres ein Rad bei ihnen gekauft und war sehr zufrieden damit. Relativ früh hatte ich einen kleinen Unfall bei dem das Schutzblech vom Vorderreifen abgefallen ist, brachte es zurück und bekam es repariert ohne Zusatzkosten. Alle weiteren Wehwehchen, die am Rad angefallen sind wurden bei weiteren Besuchen auch problemlos, schnell und kostenlos (da innerhalb der Garantie angefallen) behandelt. Best place to buy a second-hand bike in Berlin! Maurice and Tom are very friendly and helpful trying to find a bike that truly fits to you. I bought a used Bergamont from Bike A-way last September. They were really friendly, chatty guys and English speaking - perfect for a new Berliner. Their prices are probably higher than what you'll pay at a flea market, but then again you know you're not buying a stolen bike. Absolut empfehlenswert! Nur kurze Zeit (ca. eine Stunde) nachdem ich mein Fahrrad dort zur Reparatur abgegeben habe, kam auch schon ein netter Anruf und ich konnte es wieder abholen.
