They have hot and cold coffees, a croissant option, a English muffin option and some sweet treats as well. I got a regular brew coffee with a splash of oatmilk- glad they had that option. The cashier/ server was very nice, professional and helpful, even offering suggestions since this was my first time. It was quick service, no hassel. Coffee was good, not bitter. It was about seven minutes from my hotel, which wasn't that bad. Navigating around the building wasn't difficult, but it was a little confusing Learned that the coffee they use is Crimson Cup... which is made locally in my hometown in Ohio. Coffee was good. I was disappointed only because the coffee was crimson as I was hoping to have something roasted locally in Muncie. Tasted great tho. The bakery items I chose were not my favorite. The spinach pastry tasted like something you would get on an airplane. The butterscotch squares were good but way too sweet for my liking. As nice as the owners were and as good as the coffee was I probably would look for a local roaster only because I am from out of town.

Fast-forward to our move to Indiana and, be still my heart... DUTCH BROS IS BACK IN MY LIFE! I've always loved the Dutch Bros story, their vibe, and the fact that every location I've visited seems to have the happiest, most positive baristas. There's always upbeat music playing, everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, and somehow they make ordering coffee feel like a fun little part of your day instead of just another drive-thru stop. Today "the GOAT" took my order and immediately thought... okay, she must be a badass. My go-to is the Sugar-Free Vanilla Blended Latte with 2 Stevia. SO GOOD. And every once in a while, when I feel like I deserve a little extra treat, I grab their coffee cake. IYKYK. And if you don't know... GET ON IT. You can thank me later. Today Alejandra made my drink and it was absolutely on point! We ended up chatting and Hawaii came up, she shared that her grandma lives there and she had a Shaka on her shirt! And THAT is another thing I love about Dutch Bros. Their baristas actually seem interested in the people rolling up to their window. It's not just, "Here's your coffee, bye." There's conversation, personality and a little human connection mixed in with your caffeine. Love that for all involved.
