Definitely my favorite coffee shop! I have never had a bad experience. The baristas are always friendly. Best mint mocha ever!

Galley-like set up as you walk in. Breakfast diner vibes more than 'cafe and bakery'. Kitchen to your left as you walk down short corridor into cafe. Sloth-like chill attitude encouraged; the hashtag is #letshangtogether. Had fun looking at all the little sloth decor throughout. Lots of light and glass. VERY limited seating; seats about 15 (?) inside; mostly 2 tops and a 6 top. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, permitted to sit where ever we would like, then handed menus. Turkish music playing was just a bit too loud. Hospitality. Friendly and helpful. Owner-chef seemed very happy to be there, singing and engaging with his regulars. Offerings. Basic breakfast and lunch items with Turkish and Mediterranean classics. No flavored lattes but other basic espresso drinks offered. Chai was excellent. Had the Turkish coffee because it was a Turkish joint; was REALLY good; strong. We had the Simit Platter; sesame-like NY bagel, feta chunks, and olives. All very good. See pics. Apparently they offer cooking classes, catering, and meal prep pick-up -- for ever-changing healthier, fresh, easy-prep take-out options. Of Note and Last Impressions. Lot parking. Overall, fun.

It was tasty and even better with the bread they provided. It could've been packaged in a better way because the oil dripped out everywhere by the time we got it home. Maybe a plastic container with a tight fitting lid. The mezze platter was also quite nice, especially the carrot appetizer. The bulgur patties were also flavorful. The artichoke was slightly disappointing because it didn't have any other flavor than salt and vinegar, similar to canned/bottled artichokes. The salad was fresh and the dressing was light. Overall, this was a light and tasty lunch.

I'd been to a different location of this local coffee shop before, so I was excited to stop by this…read moreone and get some breakfast the morning after Thanksgiving. The space is large with plenty of seating, and they have a wonderful food menu with bagel sandwiches and delicious potatoes. The employee taking our order was patient and polite. I got the Parkside sandwich (bacon, egg, pesto, cheese), and Nate got a Thanksgiving sandwich special. I also got an oat milk latte. They have a pastry case full of pastries and doughnuts so I'd love to try those next time. It was nice to sit and enjoy our breakfast and I loved the latte - it was one of the best I've had recently, very creamy and smooth. The parkside bagel was quite greasy, but the flavors were so savory and yummy. I loved the pesto and it had a ton of crispy bacon. I saved half for later and it was still good heated up the next day. We got a side of the curry potatoes with some bang bang sauce to dip - these were so good! Crispy on the outside and soft inside, with lots of great curry flavor. They were pretty salty but I really loved them. This is an inclusive and welcoming space and I hope they continue to do well!

We went in on a Saturday morning and they were busy. The vibe is casual and low key, music playing in background. They take up two store fronts, one for ordering, waiting area for to go orders and bakery, the one adjacent is the dine in sitting area and it's very ample with plenty of tables and room so not to feel crowded. We ordered one latte extra hot and one almond milk matcha latte, they carry Dark Matter coffee so we knew the coffee would be good. The young lady that took our order was very friendly and so helpful suggesting items. I asked her what is a "Bangos", she explained it used to be a food truck but now they share the kitchen space and she continued by suggesting some of Bango's favorites. Being the foodie my husband and I are, we ordered the nasty AF and the cauliflower wrap. I took my first bite of the cauliflower wrap and I knew I had found a gem! It is delicious! I will be going back for more and will be trying other items on the menu. My husband said, this is something you would find in Chicago (where we're from) now you all know Chicago is known for good food. This place would thrive there. I'm so glad we found it because we will be going back for more! Highly recommend it! If you come visit Lansing, show some love and stop by!
