Biggby is the locavore's answer to Starbuck's coffee. With a convenient location right off M-59, ample parking, and free wi-fi, I can just imagine that this would be a hot-spot for day-time road warriors and after school study sessions. With seating for about 40 people, you're most likely going to find a seat open and outlets are easy to access for people who need to plug-in and power-up. Since the store just opened, all of the furnishings and decor are modern, comfortable, and the colorful walls create a welcoming atmosphere. There's even a community board in the back to keep up with what's happening in the area. As for the coffee... well, it's delish- and they're the Cold Stone Creamery of coffee houses with plenty of customizable sugary drinks to motivate you to get your butt to the gym more frequently. ;-) The manager did a great job of hiring friendly and upbeat baristas so you can at the very least, get a great smile with your coffee. read more

Ordered in the drive through, not a whole lot either, 1 drink and 3 food items. Waited about 25min for the food and when I paid, they asked me if I wanted to add a tip to the order. You don't ask somebody if they want to tip for one and second, what is with this ever increasing tipping culture? Just pay the workers decent wages so they don't need to be compensated with tips. read more

TRASH!!! Worst drive thru experience of my life. I ordered 45 minutes in advance on the app and waited 10 minutes in the drive thru for nothing because they were closed. Idk why your website, app, and online all say your open until 8 but the tiny sheet of paper on the door saying 7pm is the only thing that matters. I don't know how the app could possibly charge me $3.50 (which is a ripoff for a normal coffee anyways) when the store was closed. Every other food app I used wouldn't allow the transaction to charge. If the owner sees this you better refund me or else I'll get an attorney for fraud and you will serve time behind bars just like I was serving time in your drive thru all for nothing. Go to dunkin they are open till 10, cheaper, and the owner isn't a scamming scum of the Earth. read more

I haven't been in this store in about 1 year + and so glad I gave it another try!..The new owner was working the counter with another gal ( it's Pandemic time). She was outgoing and the place was well organized. Absolutely love this particular Biggby! I cant say enough about the fantastic customer service their baristas have here! Too often you find yourself dealing with some pretty impatient or even short, snarky type baristas (hinting at the big ol beloved Starbucks baristas here; ) sorry Starbucks! not all ya'll are this way but hey, majority are unfortunately!) But at Biggby, and like I said the Hartland Biggby in particular, you literally get treated like family or friends here! Its especially pleasant to receive that type of attitude and vibes in general when being greeted bright and early in the morning, making your commute to work and haven't maybe woken up til you've gotten that morning coffee in and even might a grouchy tude yourself...but upon your service here, surely your mood will be warmed right up! along with your delicious food or drink! Favorite is the Biggby card! definitely recommend everyone has one if you are a avid coffee buyer from here or really anywhere and your not only particular about where you go..just having one in your wallet for the occasions you do go here are all the more worth while to get for the points\perks! The drinks are hands down the best. I prefer Biggby over Starbucks any day of the week..I only can say i enjoy one drink at Starbucks however at Biggby I love the whole menu!! This is one of my favorite Bigby locations! The baristas are always very friendly and the eating area is always clean. If you don't want to sit at a table, they have a couple of comfy chairs and chairs outside if you would rather enjoy the sunshine! Biggby Coffee in Hartland MI. The coffee is good, the music is friendly, and the baristas are friendly. Cheerful decor. And this one has a nice rotating display of art from local amateur artists. Also they have a very nice meeting room that seats a dozen people - with a projector and screen for presentations and a whiteboard. Biggby is a nice place to hang out and get caught up on your social media on random Sunday mornings. The only thing I would change is to add seats with padding - when I sit here for more than a couple hours I get a little sore. They have some comfy chairs, but when I sit in them I fall asleep! Absolutely great coffee spot. I have stopped in several times in the earl morning. The staff is always super friendly, and they always get me on my way quickly. I would definitely recommend making these lovely folks part of your morning routine. If you're in a bad mood, i swear after a visit here and a sip of the best coffee they make you'll be smiling from ear to ear afterward. I gotta say these days ya can't walk into a coffee shop without getting a group of snoody baristas behind the counter being annoyed with your presence or in fact annoyed with your order, and even some proceed to school on you proper coffee drinking\mixing etc because they think your order isnt one a great barista such as themselves would dare touch! Oh no no no! You don't EVER EVER get that here a Bigby! Best Biggby location by far. My friends and I have all commented to each other that it tastes 'better' than the other locations. We brought this up to the owner, Mike and he informed us that he cleans his machines more than twice the minimum standard. It shows in the quality. The staff is friendly and truly go the extra mile. I want to say that I am down with the Biggby coffee franchise, there has rare been a Biggby I have been to that I wouldn't go back to, with the Hartland location being the exception. Perhaps I am holding them to too high of a standard, I am use to the Brighton Biggby that has been well established and has had years to hone their espresso drink making abilities. My girlfriend lives in Hartland so when I heard a Biggby was going in lets say I was more than excited. The first time I went in there the cashier was less than tactful. I always order the same drink and while I have some preferences, that require listing details, they are hardly difficult requests. Even a newbie barista would understand. My drink is a double short soy mocha caramel w/light flavor no whip (easy). After explaining my drink the cashier looked at me, picked up a short a cup and asked in a glib tone, "you know a short is this big right?". I don't hold the question against him, double checking that I said short is no big. I realized he was in fact being a jerk after I shook my head yes and he then shook his head like "I" was crazy. NOT COOL MAN, not cool. I have been drinking at Biggby coffee shops for years and each has been awesome. I was not looking to disprove this fact but his actions at the Hartland Biggby did. Also the espresso tasted burnt and they gave me whip. Visit number two, everyone deserves a second chance. Ordered my drink, the cashier was sweet and simply entered it. I think she even made a joke or tried to up sell which as a business major I appreciate seeing. I receive my beverage and yet again it tasted burnt and I received whip AND it was a Mocha Mocha. I don't send things back. I would have to receive a cup of ants to return it. I will simply not go back there again. No big right? I'm just one customer that doesn't know what hes talking about right? Look at it this way; would I buy the same $4.34 drink every day from the Biggby in Brighton if I didn't know what I was talking about and they didn't deliver said drink as I like it?. Half my time is spent in Hartland and I could have feasibly spent half my money there instead of spending it all in Brighton, so they are missing out on $700 a year. May not sound like a lot but in coffee shop terms its too much to turn away. New chairs and spastic bright paint on the walls aside (note sarcasm) their help is underwhelming and the manager/owner hasn't said one word to me, given that he has had two opportunities to do so say "hi" or ask me about my drink. I've tried Biggby twice, and I'm just not crazy about their coffee. The staff is very friendly, the shop is clean and bright, but the coffee is just OK. If I'm pressed for time and need a latte fix, I'll stop, but otherwise, I'll go to Kahuna on the other side of the freeway. I think their coffee is much better. read more
