They are seriously kosher with both a meat and milk kitchens. Being kosher does limit the menu. Only meat are types of fish. They are also open for breakfast and lunch. Many of the items on the menu would satisfy the adventurous foodies. I was with friends. One got an impossible cheeseburger, another salmon Eggs Benedict, third got a huge Michigan salad and I got a pizza that was made with a crust made from scratch. We were happy with our choices. A few of us even got the caramel apple cheesecake to go. Service was good. Plenty of parking and lots of seating inside and out, it is a nice way to spend part of a morning. The over medium eggs were cooked just right, i.e. not runny, with nice homestyle potatoes, thick cut bacon and their own homemade bread for toast. All at a very reasonable cost of $10, especially when considering the quality of the food. The coffee is also quite good where I believe it is a full bodied medium roast with a nice balance and no harsh notes. Relative to staff, this continues to be a strength of this business as they are quite friendly, with great follow up, where many of them have been here for years which I personally like which also speaks volumes on how well the ownership treats their employee's. The feta appetizer is not whipped and was more crumbly served with hard bread crostinis..there is no easy way to eat that without getting all over the place. I really expected more from the food menu especially since both of these were from the regular menu. I would come back just for drinks at the bar because of the nice ambiance.
