Very unorganized service. Took over 30 minutes for only a couple of things. People weren't friendly or helpful. Very weird experience.

I moved out of state and haven't been to a Biggby in so long so I was so excited to stop here. We got three drinks and they were all so good and the staff was so friendly helping us figure out what was good to try! I have been coming here since they opened in 2008. The only negative I'll give this place is a need for a drive through window, but they've done spectacularly without it. If their is a problem with your drink or food they'll fix it immediately, assuming can be fixed. Plenty of seating, lots of tables and chairs to position at your whim and 6 very fat chairs to fight over. Talk, refresh, work, and access their WiFi until your ready to leave. It's not perfect, nothing is, but its run by lovely people, presenting a cozy space. For some of us, that's good enough. read more

I love biggby so much so I was disappointed after my visit here today. My friend and I politely asked for extra cream cheese and did not receive it, my iced coffee was all milk and the staff was extremely rude when it came time to give us our food. Will not be coming back to this location. To make matters worse I believe the staff was Ferris State students. Go lakers! read more

Love a place that adds sprinkles to your man's mocha just because you ask! Grabbed a couple of hot and tasty beverages on a cool Sunday morn and then drove over to the river to enjoy the view with our drinks. There was plenty of room inside to socially distance while waiting for my order and everyone serving was masked up. Not only was the brew crew nice to me by adding said sprinkles, I overheard them work through a difficult order with another customer with professional finesse and kindness. I prefer coming here over Starbucks especially when traveling. Biggby has great customer service no matter what store you go to and generally have quick service also. I usually go for a chai tea or a basic coffee for a quick caffeine pick me up. I often will also get a basic bagel and cream cheese. I have never heard of Biggby Coffee because we do not have it in the Washington D.C. area or in the Jacksonville, Florida area, however, when I went to visit my brother and family in Big Rapids, Michigan I received great reviews concerning their coffee. This particular coffee shop is located across the street from Ferris State University. I was actually looking for a Starbucks for Chia Tea Latte w/ soy milk. My favorite and my regular at Starbucks. I was told that the only Starbucks was on the campus of Ferris State so I decided to try Biggby Coffee. When I walked in it had the ambience of a nice, trendy coffee shop. I was probably third in line and it took forever! Maybe the cashier was new but I'm patient so I waited watching the staff as they worked. When it was finally my turn to order I was greatly surprised that my chia tea latte was more expensive than at Starbucks! Is that even possible?? Every Starbucks I have been to regardless the state, my tea was $5.04. Even inside the airports where everything is more expensive! But at Biggby Coffee my tea was $6 almost $7 and the chia tea was kind of weak. Tasted a little watery and I had people waiting for me in the car so I opted not to return to the counter for extra chia powder. I really do not want to wait in a slow long line then pay more for my tea that was weak. I'm giving it 3-Stars because the cashier was very nice and my tea was at-least hot. read more

While visiting my family my sister and I decided to stop in here and get an iced coffee and a nice warm sunny day. The staff is extremely friendly and I have to say I found that their iced coffee is a really delicious. The coffee doesn't have that usual acidic taste that you find with many other brands it has a nice rich flavor to it. I like that they also not only just offer iced coffee but they also offer a frozen coffee. The price is also a really good it's really worth the trip to stop and the only drawback with the shop is it doesn't have a drive-through. read more

If I was only rating the staff and the atmosphere, I would give this place 5 stars. The people who work at this location are fun, nice, always in a good mood, fast, everything! The location is good and I love how they have tons of outlets for me to plug my computer in while I do homework. The music is not bad, better than I would expect. I've seen them have some live music here, too, which is cool. Unfortunately, the coffee stinks. It's pretty much just coffee-flavored water. I've tried every single food item they offer and the only thing that's even decent is the bagel with cream cheese. Oh, and you can always just get a banana. The scone is totally disgusting. I got a smoothie one time and it cost $5 for a 12-oz. which was sooooo not worth it. I asked what was in it and it was basically fruit-flavored corn syrup. The chai was flavorless with no spiciness at all and lots of sugar. I haven't found one thing to eat or drink that's actually good. I usually just get a coffee so that I can do my homework by their nice fireplace. I really want to like Bigby becuase I see the newspaper articles on their walls and I know they try to be part of the communities they do business in. I don't want to go over to Starbucks at Ferris- I don't even like Starbucks that much anyways. But Bigby needs to do something about their products. The coffee would be okay if they had decent baked goods. But I've never heard anything good about their bakery items. I think it's time for them to step it up. read more

I've updated my review and shushed it to the lowest possible rating. Terrible service. I ordered 2 small cappuccinos and received and was charged for mediums. I pointed this out and was told to take the drinks and they'd give me a refund. But when I went back to the register that girl said no refund because I took the drinks. She said girl who said take drinks made a mistake. read more

I'm a regular here.....get my coffee here almost every day. Overall experience is excellent. Coffee is what you would expect from a coffee place, lots of options and the baristas can make your drink however you want it specialized. Very nice and courteous customer service. I appreciate the friendly folks there. While I was on crutches, they went out of their way to open doors for me and even carry a drink out to my car....very thoughtful to go the extra mile. I like that this franchise location is locally-owned and supports the local organizations with their generous participation in discount cards, as well. It's nice to have these types of local businesses that give be back to the local community. read more

I have never been to this business before of any sort but came here because Starbucks was closed. Unfortunately they had just lost power, but they were very accommodating. I always get an iced white chocolate mocha latte but since they didn't have power they weren't able to make that. They ended up making an iced coffee instead but made it taste almost just like my favorite drink. Two thumbs up for wonderful customer service and a really cute interior! read more

This is a good Biggby location. The staff was very friendly and worked quickly. It is a good sized location with lots of seating. The coffee is also rather tasty, especially if you prefer sweeter drinks. My only issue is how far it is off the highway, but other than that it was a good experience. read more

This place is awful! I ordered an overpriced "smoothie" which was supposed to be raspberry with lemon zing. I got some ground up ice chunks with no raspberry anything. I finally found some fruit as I choked on giant hunks of lemon peel (zing huh?). Awful!! read more

No matter what anyone tells you, this place is Nothing like a Starbucks. Other that they sell a product that it similar to coffee. You ask for coffee and they hand you a cup, you fill yourself out of pump carraff's. Add your own cream and sugar and you could have went to a gas station and saved a couple bucks for the same thing. read more

I have absolutely never been disappointed at this Bigby. It's clean, the staff are polite and accommodating, and the owners know me by name. My husband is a regular and much of the staff have his order down pat! I don't typically address other reviews but someone said the coffee is pre-made? What does that even mean? Coffee beans are always and I mean always, grown and prepared at a manufacturer then sold to a consumer who then uses it by grinding it up and brewing it in a pot with pre-made water! So yeah I guess it's pre-made by that definition, however it doesn't take rocket science to plainly see them brewing fresh coffee and espresso right before your very eyes! Like magic! Seriously though, what I love most about Bigby is that it's a Michigan owned and supported business and all the stores are franchised. This means our lovely owners are members of our very own community, hiring other members of our community. It's local business and it feels like family when I'm there. I can always count on high quality coffee and lattes to boot!! I support this local business with all my heart since the very day it opened its doors. read more

Don't come here if you want coffee. Drinks are so sugary they'll make you sick. The only thing I recommend is the straight up coffee. Friendly staff is the only reason I'm even giving them one star. read more

So I ordered a Redbull Cream Freeze today and it took approximately 15 minutes to receive it from the barista. They made it within 5 minutes of my order and just sat it on the counter so they could make other customers drinks. After about 10 minutes I walked back to the front where I placed my order. The cashier asked what she could help me with. I asked, "why haven't I received my drink yet, if it is done just sitting on the counter over there?" The cashier just walked away from me. About 1 minute later the barista told me "We have to give the drinks out in order." If that is the case, then why make my order before other customers. It just sat there melting while they were struggling to make other customers orders. They could have used that time to focus on the other orders. Broken system... read more

Decent coffee if you're passing through. I would have liked a pour over, but this coffee is all premade. Nonetheless it was good coffee, way better than anything else you'll find while driving through town. read more
