Stopped by bigface today while walking around the design district and it was such an aesthetic coffee shop! Love the sleek and clean look of the entire place, its great if you need to chill or get some work done! Ordered two vanilla iced lattes and an iced vanilla matcha, both were super yummy!

I'm not really a coffee person, but I was enchanted by BIGFACE's unique drink options. When looking from the outside I see that they had a Gochujang Chai drink so I stepped into the store. That was the drink I wanted to order but unfortunately they were out of it that day. Thankfully I got their Hojicha Miso Latte with a guava cream danish. They both were delicious. The combination was actually heavenly! The smokiness for Hojicha and Miso together pairs well! The danish was sweet yet not too overwhelming. Overall, the drink and dessert were superb and I love the vibe of the whole cafe. I didn't even know going into it, that Jimmy Butler owned it! What a surprise!

I'm pretty basic when it comes to coffee - I'll do an espresso shot or an iced latte most times. But to no avail, this place still did not disappoint. I absolutely love the employees, they've always met me with joy and great recommendations even though I'm super basic and I love that I can go home with coffee cans too! The space is a great area to work, hang out or just grab a quick coffee.

Came here with a friend as there was an art class with Raw Figs. I kept on hearing that this place does the best matcha. As soon as you walk in. You notice the vibe! The vibe is a futuristic coffee shop. I like a cozy coffee shop. Baristas were okay. Not very friendly. A matcha is $10 with strawberry . I am happy to tick this spot off of my list. But it is nothing different. It is definitely trendy. A place for the Instagram photos .

CHROME. WOW. So gorgeous here. Aesthetic AND tasty. I love how different their menu is, foreign items that are maybe not as common. I ordered the mamey milk latte, no one knows what that is so I was so happy to see his yummy fruit offered on their menu!!! Best latte I've had in a very long time.

Weird to me that people hate on matcha for tasting....like matcha. Anyway, I do consider myself to be a *bit* of a matcha connoisseur, mostly from matcha I've had in NYC before more places started offering it in Miami. I went in on Friday morning and no line but there was a group of five in front of me ordering and I thought it would take a while to get my matcha but was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to get the drinks made. I opted for an oat milk strawberry matcha. Are they using a homemade strawberry mix? Probably not but it added a nice sweetness to the matcha that still let the matcha flavor shine through. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

DRINKS On their rotation is a $10 black sesame latte But it doesn't come with caffeine and adding an espresso shot is an additional $1. $11 for a black sesame latte is pretty steep, even though it's the only one in Miami. AMBIANCE Super sleek and modern inside. They have bleacher seating, a small sofa, and also sears outside. A couple of groups of people were doing work there. SERVICE Pretty standard transaction

Big Face is a unique and fun coffee spot with strong Miami vibes and a cool backstory--founded by Miami Heat's own Jimmy Butler and made famous during the 2020 pandemic. My daughter ordered the matcha with vanilla and absolutely loved it. The shop has a sleek, almost futuristic design with bold furniture and an overall upbeat, modern vibe. The staff was friendly and all smiles, which really added to the experience. Prices are on the high side--$9 for a drink--but that seems to be the going rate these days for premium coffee. Worth a stop if you're looking for something stylish and different.

I was in the Design District area and needing some caffeine so decided to check out BIGFACE coffee. It's a spacious and modern coffee shop that sells a lot of merch, a good number of drinks, and pastries by local shop - Caracas Bakery. I ordered an iced latte and pain au chocolat. The coffee was pretty good, a little bit on the milky side but decent espresso. It was a bit overpriced at $8 (not including tax or tip). The pain au chocolat was super soft and was hoping for more of a crunch. There's seating inside and outside. Staff was okay, not super friendly. Would try it again. Maybe one of their out of the box drinks that seemed colorful

Matcha latte w/ cherry & oat milk - 6.7/10 cherry overpowered good matcha considering it's pre made not overly sweet low key tasted like medicine Black sesame latte w/ a shot of espresso & oat milk - 8/10 good black sesame to coffee ratio black sesame was really good low key had eh expectations but pretty good would get again Overall - 7/10 this aesthetic coffee shop is on design district in miami. super spacious cafe. however this isn't a study friendly place because there are no tables- other than the small coffee table by the couches. there is outdoor seating but it can get really sunny and hot. this is def a grab and go spot. they also have a rotating drink menu so that makes it fun if you tend to go to this coffee shop often- however drinks are on the pricier side. parking... well it's miami lol so you either park on the street or in a garage. overall, i would go to this coffee shop again to try their pastries and other drinks!

The interior here is super sleek and calm greys. There's a lot of seating options and two (very clean) gender-neutral bathrooms. Service was super quick but it is *expensive*. Basic iced coffees are $8-$10 and while there is a side counter to grab a straw, lid, or napkin, there was no option for no-cal sweetners. Milk options include regular or oat. I got the salted caramel infusion with a cold brew and it had a little sweet taste but not as strong as I was hoping.

Pretty cool coffee shop. In the heart of the beautiful Design District. I tried the strawberry matcha... by far the best i ever had. Highly recommend. Staff were very welcoming.

The Coconut Cloud Matcha at Bigface is smooth, slightly sweet and layered. You get that earthy matcha taste with a light coconut foam that's not too overpowering. It's Instagram worthy and the summer perfect drink for Miami's heat. The vibe inside is modern and chill. The service was amazing and helpful. If you're into elevated matcha, check this place out.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Libertino Cafe has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Miami. Unfortunately, on my visit this was counterweighted by a few strikes: first, the music was very loud. Given that this place appears to have cultivated a study/work-friendly environment, this made no sense. Fortunately, I had earplugs on me (and most others in the place had headphones/earphones). Second, pricing: others have noted that the coffee prices are on the high side, and while the ambience justifies it, it felt awkward to be up-charged for a splash of milk (note: they don't have half-and-half) after paying $5+ for a 12-oz americano. Finally, I didn't like the beverage much. They use a bean with a very fruity profile and have treated it with darker roasting style that doesn't seem to complement it. I may give this place another chance when back in the area, but only after trying a few of the other spots around.

For the ropa vieja, the beef was very tender since it was slow-cooked for 5 hours, and the tomato sauce offered a good flavor addition. I added black beans to the dish as well which I would highly recommend for others to do the same. My partner had the day's catch and was offered a piece of fish which was pretty delicious, but for $30 it was a bit too much. The picadillo a la habanera had good criolla sauce, which defined the flavor of the dish. We ordered a flan and an arroz con leche as well, and both desserts were tasty and decorated beautifully, especially the golden sugar crust on the arroz con leche, which almost resembled the crème brûlée sugar top. In terms of drinks, the piña colada didn't taste like an alcoholic drink, which could be a hit or miss depending on who's having it. The guava juice tasted very fresh, which subsequently made it not very sweet, which we were more than okay with. I also felt like the instructions for water were not very clear, because it seemed like my partner was led on to believe that still water was free, but we were charged $14 for it at the end. There was also a 20% service fee which I clarified with the waiter that it didn't count as tip. However, the suggested gratuity was roughly 7% to 12% based on the bill. All this information is simply to keep other customers aware. The food was still pretty on point above all else.

I was actually in the market for a new acoustic and with the help of Jeff, tried a number of the new guitars for sale. I didn't buy one that day because I was still looking and visiting stores in south Florida. I think more than any purchase, you have to physically play a guitar to see if it fits you and the sound is appealing. I suppose a lot of people collect guitars without the intent to play them and that's fine, too. The cars are pretty impressive - reminded me of James Bond movies. And the wide range of electric and acoustic guitars are equally impressive; every one of the them has a story to tell.
