Rather than asking for documentation, photos, or engaging in any professional discussion regarding these findings, he immediately responded by telling me I was "full of crap." This statement was made in writing without any attempt to review evidence or reassess his conclusions. That type of response is completely inappropriate and reflects a lack of professionalism expected from someone providing for a customer. He then continues to insult me Additionally, the "inspection report" provided did not resemble a formal inspection report and was instead prepared on what appeared to be a QuickBooks invoice, lacking the detail, structure, and professionalism typically expected from a "qualified inspector" He is charging $450 for this quickbooks invoice with notes written Because of the inaccurate conclusions in his report, we are now having to perform repairs to the homeowner's newly installed roof at our own cost to resolve an issue that was ultimately determined not to originate from the roofing system. This situation created unnecessary expense, confusion for the homeowner, and avoidable delays that could have been prevented with a more thorough inspection and professional communication. Professionalism, accuracy, and accountability are critical when dealing with customers and construction-related issues. Unfortunately, none of those standards were reflected in my experience here. I was given Josh's name and that he was with Leak Seekers.....he was the person I needed to find the water leak. Prestige Gunnite and Concrete worked on my pool shell. It was the worst workmanship I have ever…read moreseen. I brought several other concrete contractors in and they all said they have never seen work that was so bad before. They did not finish the work in one day, but came back 12 days later to finish. I had a bad pool contractor who called for the company to come and do work, they actually walked off the jobsite 2 times (without my knowledge) because the steel was not complete. The third time they came back and did the most aweful work. In St Johns County, all inspections and Permits can be seen online and would only take 30 seconds to verify if the permit passed. When they came back to finish the project, they smoothed it out, but didn't pour the walls of the pool thick enough. Engineers specified that minimum requirement of 6 inches and at one point, the wall is only 5.25 inches. I contacted Prestige , but they have no customer service department to speak of. I paid the contractor and the contractor did not pay prestige for their terrible work. Consequently they are trying to get money out of me, and take no responsibility for their work. Terrible. They came to do the work June 21st. They didn't have all the parts so the work was not fully completed. We paid the balance of the bill anyway. The follow-up service visit was scheduled for July 26th. I called that morning and left a message asking someone to confirm that they were still planning to do the work that day. Got a message back saying the needed parts did not come and that the work will be done August 3rd. I called the morning of Aug 3rd and was told the parts are still backordered. I asked to talk to the manager and was told he was not in the office but will call me back. Finally decided to dispute the charge with my Visa company. Dispute is currently in process.
