We have a small conversational pool which my husband and I were working to determine if it was worth replacing the motor and resurfacing or closing it completely. They came out spoke to my husband and said they would provide two separate estimates via email. I requested the estimate again with no repsonse. We waited four additional days before going with another contractor that provided a timely estimate and next day service. I can only assume my business was not worth their time as we still have not heard from this company.

We ended up working with Drew - he's really awesome to work with, took time to listen to our wants, and came up with a great plan, and killed it on execution. When they say it takes 6-8 weeks to finish, they are committing to that - they are on top of their scheduling and very mechanical in ensuring work is completed according to schedule. The pool looks great, the deck looks great, and we're excited to start enjoying the finished product. The most important thing we look for in a contractor is great communication, stands behind their work, and delivers what they say they will. Tilney's team nailed all three of them. Even after getting everything wrapped up, they stood behind some adjustments needed and took time to clearly explain maintenance and equipment use. Would not hesitate to use Tilney again and have recommended to many friends and neighbors already. There's a reason why multiple pools on our block are built by their team. (For comparison/clarity: The others we had considered were Oasis and Sekas. Oasis didn't feel like the right fit - nothing against them but felt like we were more of a cog/widget. Sekas provided a drawing on a napkin for us after 2 months of disappearing, with a price that would make your mouth drop and acted like he was doing us a favor - not sure where that entitlement came from).

I had a great experience with this company for a rather fast leak. For $295, a technician came out…read moreand spent a lot of time examining my entire pool and spa. He used compressed air so he could be underwater for extended time, and he found the main leak was behind my spa light. Included in that fee I mentioned is a patch job. They could not guarantee it (sometimes they give a 90-day guarantee), but it's been a few weeks and still holding! I asked the technician his thoughts on the longevity, and he said he's seen/heard of some patch jobs holding up for years. Still, they also provided me with an estimate for a more in-depth / permanent fix in the final paperwork, which was also full of great detail. They also told me that they clear slow pool/spa drains! We had a recent pool renovation, and I think there's a bunch of debris down the drains/pipes, so I plan to have them back out soon for that. I see some people didn't have a great experience, but I'm happy to report that I did. I was literally adding at least an hour of water to the pool every 48 hours before this fix. They got me on the schedule quickly and were very detailed. I loved that and would recommend them for your pool leaks and clogs.

moved here 5 years ago...i thought we had a leak...did the bucket evaportion test..it was normal…read moreevaporation...good to go...bought a auto water refill device to keep the level at normal range...all was good for 4 years...recently i had to change the hose on the refill device..turned off the hose..next morning pool was down 5 inches!...the week before got a letter from hernando water company "you are using way more water than you neighbors"..sprinkler system overuse? nope...got a well...hmmmm...ok...must have a leak..read reviews..called leak wizard been around 60 yrs!...had a tech show up the next day..Austin, great guy completely explained the situation...did a sound test..then did an underwater dye test with a snuba compressor, mask and weight belt main drain...all good...pool light?...bingo! the dye was sucking thru that hole behind the light like a tornado..went back down sealed it up with 2 part epoxy... wham bam thank you ma'am! leak sealed.. problem solved in under 2 hours for a $329 fee...plus he gave me a bunch of tips for future pool resurfacing when we do a renovation someday. very happy with the results..fast service and i would highly recommend this company...yeah some reviews werent good...but sometimes you have to consider the source...2 sides to every story.. i usually go with a local company thats been around the LONGEST..because theres a reason for that.

Cara the owner, was very gracious and advised she would have Ben, her husband, come out and look at the spa pump. Ben came and looked at the pump and felt confident it could be repaired. He ordered the necessary parts and indicated he would let us know when it came in. In the meantime, we mentioned to the pool builder doing the resurfacing that we had contacted Dutchcraft Services to repair the pump. Marty, from US Pools without us asking, stated that Ben does great work and he also recommended them. How cool was that? Ben completed the work. we had a hiccup, not because of anything Ben had done wrong, but the company putting the pebble sheen had plugged the spa to avoid material going into the pipe. They unplugged it and the spa pump works like a charm!! The best part, Ben's price was very reasonable! We are sooo happy with it and we are using the spa more than we ever have! I love this family owned business, they care and are meticulous with their work. I would NOT recommend JR Pavers! Biggest issue is just over a year (3 months over a year) the…read morepavers on the side driveway they installed have HUGE gaps and are spreading out. Called Lindsey and she came out and said she doesn't feel it was an installation issue and would give me a quote to fix it. I had two other pavers companies come out and they both said the job was not done correctly and were shocked they were not standing behind their work. We had other issues that annoyed us with during the work but let them go. Example - when removing old driveway/part of lawn they broke water line and we paid to fix it, had to call them to pick up mess left behind, they did not cement pavers down that hung over patio and if you stepped on a paver the whole paver would come up. They told us to buy a bag of cement. We went back and forth and finally my husband bought cement and did it. They showed up months later out of the blue with no notice to fix it only because they were giving my son a quote (luckily for my son he checked reviews and decided to go with another company). We spent about $15K on our driveways. VERY DISAPPOINTED that we have to pay someone to come fix what they didn't do correctly! Do your research and if they have bad reviews believe the bad reviews!
