It's also more of a grab and go place, they have a few picnic tables in front to eat at for warmer weather. My wife and I split 2 subs. We had the roast beef and the turkey. Both were very enjoyable but the turkey stood out a little more for me. It was pomegranate glazed turkey breast with baby arugula molasses and a spicy feta dip that packed a punch full of flavor to complete the sub. The roast beef had a horseradish tzatziki and olive oil with their pasture raised beef, everything was really fresh. I could not leave out the seeded bun in this review, soooo good, couldn't be any more seeds on this wedge in a good way, the bread is outstanding. Supposedly the founder, Stew Sr., put it up after arguing with a lady over some sour eggnog decades ago until his wife checked him. It definitely stuck, because in two decades of shopping here, I have literally never had a bad customer experience. The staff is always so solid. They have everything--a great bakery (the Apple Cider Donuts are legendary), a massive seafood section with fresh lobster rolls daily, a killer meat department where I usually grab lamb steaks, and a seasonal garden center and "Little Farm" with goats and ducks that the kids love. They even have a food truck outside now. But if I'm being completely real? Half the time I roll up here, I am solely there for one thing: the hot bar. They have the absolute best wings around, specifically the Spicy Italian ones. I will literally drive over just to grab a container of those wings for lunch. I've seen a lot of incorrect info on Yelp, but this one is ridiculous. Yes, this Whole Foods Market is in Westport, and they sell pizza along with many other foods, but "Westport" and "Pizza" are not part of the name. Not sure how someone mistakes a a supermarket for a pizza joint, or how Yelp moderators miss this mistake. Shouldn't be difficult to detect and correct problems like this if you had a few clankers on the team. Also, the hours are completely wrong. See my photo of the doors with hours listed.

Well now, these 4 kiosks are being used by shoppers with an inordinate amount of products in their carts. One was hogged by a pregnant mother in shorts overalls with her kid and 6 bags of produce she had to hand weigh - this should not be allowed here!!! The line for these 4 kiosks was backed up to the pizza area. In sum, the store has outgrown its patronage. Everyone and their brother shops at Whole Foods now and this location is too small and shelves are often empty of so many products. Like Mad Max in a zombie apocalypse. Still love the Mac & cheese at the hot bar - it's fantastic!

The meats were prepackaged but the items we tried were of fine quality-- prime hangar steak, small meatballs and Italian sausage. The hangar was exceptionally tender and juicy. The star of the show here is the prepared foods case. We plumped for egg salad, curry chicken salad and red potato salad.All were fresh, nicely seasoned and above supermarket quality. Picked up some French garlic in the produce area and biscotti as well. Purchased some smoked salmon cream cheese from the seafood concession which was also excellent--loaded with salmon. Fish in the case looked good -- will try next time. Will return when we visit Westport again.
