Green thumb is comparable to any home garden store meaning they have an indoor area with different gadgets and outdoor repair and gardening items. Outside they have a massive flowers, trees, and plants area. They also have plenty of pots and statues. This spot is massive and I always wander around finding that the time flies right by because there is so much to see. I know some people make comments about it being pricey and it's hard for me to assess that as I only garden or do big outdoor projects 1-2 times a year. For that reason I am not well versed on pricing and honestly all hobby's like gardening are expensive to me lmao. Jokes aside I do think you get what you pay for. They have a variety of plants here that I can't find anywhere else, especially not at big brand stores. It's worth a visit or a couple of dollars more to get exactly what you want. Staff here have always been nice and helpful. A gentlemen named Chris (I believe) helped me out at my last visit and was really nice. I tried all the big name stores thinking I would be able to have a new refrigerator in time. Because I needed a black refrigerator to match the other appliances in our home, the eariliest they could have a new appliance was too late by 2 weeks. So, I checked appliance stores near me and that is when I discovered Reid's. It was 4th of July weekend, so first thing Monday, I reached out and spoke with Maria. Maira was fantastic and a great help! They did not have a black refrigerator, however, they did have a dark green that I could make work. So I bought the refrigerator and It was delivered Friday. Unfortunatley the refrigerator did not work properly and never cooled down and the freezer never produced any ice. So, Saturday I contacted Reid's and spoke with Omar the manager form Santa Barbara store. Omar and Maria worked with the owner and together they all came up with the PERFECT solution. They offered to come back out to pick up the refrigerator and deliver a loaner refrigerator. On my drive to the store, Maria called and told my husband they had a black refrigerator come in and they could deliver it that day. When I got to the store, Maria showed me several options that could be delivered that same day. I chose the black refrigerator, and Alex delivered it the same day and it's working perfectly! For inconvenience, the owner was very generous and we appreciate him very much! We could not be any more pleased ! If I could have given them 10 stars I would have! Thank you so mucy Reid's team! I will be recommending you to everyone I know in the area!!!

I should have paid closer attention to the Yelp reviews before purchasing from Reid's Appliances…read more I had a choice between Reid's and another retailer for an approximately $11,000 Miele range. After visiting the store and reading positive reviews elsewhere, I chose Reid's. I regret that decision. The red flags started in the showroom. I came prepared knowing which range I wanted, but there was little effort to explain or demonstrate its features. I was simply told the appliances weren't hooked up. Because this range required special accommodations, I spent nearly $3,000 on electrical and plumbing work. A week before installation, Reid's asked me to send photos of the outlet and installation area. I did, and I was told everything was good to go. On installation day, however, the installer initially told me my electrical type was incorrect, I told him it was 240v and Reid's had already reviewed and approved it. The installer tells me has to check. He returned and suddenly told me my gas valve was also incorrect and the range would have to sit about an inch away from the wall. Why wasn't this identified during the first visit or when Reid's reviewed my photos beforehand? So got my plumber correct the gas valve. My plumber showed the me the anti tilte bracket was installed on the dry wall with no anchors, he literally pulled it off the wall. They didn't even install that correctly. I called Reid's because both the installer and salesperson had previously told me the range might need to be re-leveled. Now I was told it "probably" didn't need it. When I asked how to determine whether an $11,000 range was properly leveled, the salesperson's advice was essentially: you can tell if the range looks tilted. No useful guidance, no offer to help, and no concern. The final straw was asking about the anti-tip bracket. I explained that I could not easily move this extremely heavy range myself if I ever needed emergency access to the gas shutoff behind it. The salesperson asked why I would ever need to move it and suggested I could "call a technician." If I smell gas, I'm supposed to call a technician and wait for an appointment? I finally called Miele directly. The difference in customer service was remarkable. Miele listened to my concerns, explained how the range could be disengaged and moved if necessary, and offered to send a Miele technician FREE OF CHARGE to make sure the range was properly leveled. Problems can happen during an installation. That isn't my main complaint. My complaint is that I spent nearly $3,000 preparing for this installation, provided Reid's with photos in advance, was told everything was ready, and then encountered problems that should have been identified beforehand. What made it worse was the complete lack of empathy, ownership, and useful support after the sale. For an approximately $11,000 appliance, I expected much better. I will never purchase from or recommend Reid's Appliances again. Thankfully, Miele provided the customer service that their authorized dealer did not. My advice: pay attention to the negative reviews. I wish I had. Run, don't walk, away from Reid's Appliances.

Stopped at Lowe's but was sent here as what I needed would take over a week to get delivered. At Ferguson ... staff isn't the friendliest . Many walked past me without even asking if I needed assistance as I walked up and down the valve aisle like a dummy. Anyway I couldn't find what I needed and was helped by one of the workers once I walked up to the register. Not sure I'd stop by again. 3.5/ 4 because it's a plumbing store .. not supposed to be the cheeriest of places but I do expect a certain level of customer service.

I wasn't disappointed. As mentioned elsewhere, Jo has an amazing selection of Protea and other exotic plants, unlike anything you will find elsewhere....and guess what? - once established, the Protea bush I planted in the front of our house NEVER needed any watering once it was established and it flowered every year. I was so happy to have an interesting flower with such little water and effort. So recently, after moving house a few months ago a similar thing happened... a family friend bought my wife some amazing looking flowers. I asked what they were and she told me they were 'wax flowers'. So again after searching online guess who had them in stock? Jo ! So we went back over to her nursery and she remembered us from all those years ago. We bought some more Proteas and 3 or 4 wax flower plants.
