Mel offered to take him in no questions asked, and make sure he didn't get into (too much) trouble. The resort itself is great, so much room to run around and rest (but mostly run around). Mel put as much love and care into creating the resort that she does into taking care of her pups! She kept in touch with us regularly, sharing pictures, and giving updates. We could tell he was having such a great time! Rates are also super reasonable for the VIP service our pup gets, with a discount for longer stays. We live in Kirkland and while it was a trek down to Rosedale, it was so worth it for our lil dude to have the time of his life! We are contacting them today to ask to speak the owner. The first groomer did a great job, trimmed and cut her perfectly. My boyfriend took her in yesterday, 5/30/25, asked for the same cut as the first time but to trim the pants a little shorter and the sani area shorter. My dog came back fully clipped/shaved extremely short which is unacceptable for a double coat dog; I would be astounded if this "groomer" actually completed any grooming courses. I am now concerned with the health of my dog as the weather heats up due to losing the natural protective factors of her previous coat to prevent overheating. The "groomer" also wasn't able to trim her nails and cited that my dog couldn't handle it; I've never had a groomer fail to trim her nails. Lastly, she came back with a razor burn-like mark on her under belly, the "groomer" said this was there before which I do not believe. This "groomer" should not be allowed to groom again until completing additional courses and training. I don't recommend this place for grooming.

Then, with about a month before the trip, we unexpectedly learned we'd have to bring my aunt with us, leaving her 2 cats in need of care. And at that point, I decided we should ask Rachel to take care of our cat at our home as well. I called Rachel, and she offered to take care of the cats herself at my mom's home and our home daily for the week. (Fortunately she wasn't at capacity when I called for the additional help.) Our dog and the cats were so well-loved and taken care of. I never worried for a minute about them. She shared some photos of our dog with us on his multiple daily walks and sleeping on the sofa. My aunt's cats were a nightmare - they had been traumatized by a cross country move only a month earlier and had horrible accidents in the house. Rachel took care of them and the accidents without complaint. We were so very thankful! And our cat was looked after carefully every day as well. They only take cats and they are never in a cage, they each have a little room, usually with a window and a little tree or something to climb and scratch. Nancy fell in love with my boy Liam and he allowed her to brush him and seemed very happy by all the pictures I got. You hear of all these sitting services never showing up to feed or play with animals and my family had a tragedy happen when a boarding service kept our dog in a cage instead of the run we ordered, and something horrific happened so I will forever be scared. Nancy understands how much we love our cats and how worried we get for our little bundles of dopamine. I will always recommend Snuggles! The house is clean and well looked after and there is clear plexiglass between the kitty rooms and my cat just stared at the other cats. No fights or hissing. My wife is a amputee and has quite a few health issues. Without even being trained to, she knows when mom is having issues and will comfort her. Last winter she actually saved my wife. I was in my room playing video games and my wife was in the living room watching tv. She started having chest pains and collapsed. Samantha ran to our room and came a practically dragged me out to the living room where i was able to call 911 and help her until they arrived. As far as the business itself, you will not find another breeder like Julie. She is dedicated to her dogs. She she learns each set of pups, and matches them up with the right owners. Her instinct is impeccable. She is a great business owner and a wholesome person in general. I am sure their are other dog breeders out there that are great but we will always go to Vom Banach for our dogs and recommend them to anyone who happens to ask about our Samantha...
