David is rude and disrespectful and referred to me as "lady"!!!! I wrote another long review on google when I looked them up. They were dispatched by AAA. Horrible, Horribl, Horribl. There was an issue with my upgrade on my renewal and David said it's showing basic so lady you either pay us or you won't get your car and told the driver don't do anything and prepare to take it back. Of course I called AAA and now I have a problem because until the matter gets resolved I have to pay for horribl, disrespectful service from DAVID. I wasn't with the vehicle I was on the phone my mechanic said you don't have to talk to her like that. I start asking questions about who I'm paying because I didn't know the name of the compan. David says can you just pay so we can go! Excuse me!! So I asked David would you give your debit or credit card information to a complete ride ass stranger or company with none of their informatio. He said no, I then said well you need to answer my questions so you can go!!! As long as David is employee with Big Tow absolutely no one should use this compan!!! He is a poor representative of this business!! I work too hard for my money to be mishandled and disrespected and still have to pay $126 it just doesn't sit well with me at all!!!! I called AAA Big Toe came work named Julian Taylor came out to assist me with what I thought was a running out of gas he quickly told me it wasn't that it was my battery. This was yesterday he stated he could sell me a battery for 240.00 I purchased the battery he install it and took my old battery a hour later my car stop again I called him back because he had called me on his cell phone he quickly said this my personal phone & hung up in my face I called AAA back to assist me sat waiting for 2 hrs for someone to assist me with my car The mechanic looked at my car said it was my alternator and that the battery in my car was the wrong battery and it was also a old battery! I don't know who owns this company but I know whomever does doesn't know there being represented in such a shady way! They are adding mileage to routes I have proof. AAA said I'm only supposed to get charged if the tow is over 5 miles . The route was 4.7 miles . I called the dispatcher he says every route on his end is over 6 miles . There is no way possible when on every GPS app says the route is only 4.7 miles . There are only two possible routes to my home from matteson to Chicago heights . I showed the tow driver . He confirms it's only 4.7 miles yet they wouldn't take my car unless I paid cash up front . AAA should not do business with this company . All the drivers always show up acting like they've tried to call you 100 times . read more

We bought a new Subaru Outback and 40 days later the battery died. Outback wouldn't start or take a conventional jump. Car was loaded and we along with sons family were headed out for a three day holiday. Subaru wanted to tow the car and take it to their their Orland location. Having reservations and events with specific times, this option wasn't feasible Called AAA and they sent Big Tows to help us out. They responded promptly and initiated the diagnostics and discovered the battery was faulty and wouldn't hold a charge. Purchased a new battery from them and they installed it promptly. When I needed backup information regarding the failed Subaru battery, they supplied me with the needed documentation. Will call on Big Tows again when n need!!! Subaru on the other hand won't stand behind their faulty battery. That's another story read more

NOPE!!! I would not recommend calling this place for a tow. My son's car broke down and needed to be towed. This place was dispatched by the roadside assistance company. The driver said that he would be there in 27 minutes, which sounded great since it was 10° outside and there was no heat in the broken down car. I went to wait with my son and let him keep warm in my vehicle until the tow truck arrived. 27 minutes turned to 50, which isn't horrible in tow truck standards but in this weather, that could have been dangerous. We saw the truck coming from the opposite direction but were surprised when the truck started maneuvering to turn to go down a side street. We were honking and flashing the lights to get his attention, but he just turned anyway. After he realized we weren't there, he called to see where we were. We told him and said we were trying to get his attention and he said "Oh, that was you on the side of the road?" After the car was on the truck, we started the short drive to the shop, which was in the opposite direction to which we were facing. To turn around, the driver made a u-turn at the nearest intersection ON A RED TURN ARROW!! Once we got to the shop, which was closed with no one in sight, the driver came and stated "I'm going to put it right here next to this other car." Not knowing where he meant, I got out to see. "Next to this other car" was part of the driveway for the business. BEFORE he began to lower the ramp to offload the car, I told him to wait until I check to see if there was a better place that it could be left. He proceeded to continue his routine of offloading the vehicle anyway. While the vehicle was still on the truck, I asked if he could pull around the corner and leave it in a better spot. His response was "Man, it's f***ing cold out here. I came to the car and asked you where you wanted it before I started. I'm leaving it right here next to this other car." I called the number on the truck and whoever answered tried to state that the driver couldn't pull into the lot behind the facility because he might get stuck, which was a lie the driver had obviously told him because the lot had been plowed. Before I could respond the call was "disconnected". My son called a different number and the person we spoke to said they were writing the driver up but that seemed doubtful. This is the worst towing company in the world. The other day my grandson called his insurance to have his car towed and this company was sent. When they got there, it was two of them and they told him his radiator was loose. They told him they would tow the car to their garage and check it out with a free diagnostic. My grandson asked if it would be the same charge to tow it home because he wanted it taken to our home they assured him there would be no more charge. Well, you guessed it they changed their story and wanted an extra $150 to bring it to the house. Not one star this company is a scam. Towed my daughters car on Saturday and said they would have their mechanic take a look to see what the problem was and the mechanical would call me on Monday. Monday afternoon still no call so I called them and was told it was the transmission. But again told me that the mechanic would call to see what I wanted to do. No call so I called them again and was told that they had some kind of emergency and that no mechanic was there could I call back in about 2 hours. Well I called another shop that worked on another car that I own to have them tow it to their shop. When me and my daughter got there we were told the car was not there that it was in Frankfort without permission had to call the police.
