So I went to another tire shop for a second opinion -- and they confirmed there was NOTHING else wrong with my car. The issue was the tire itself. Once they replaced it with a proper tire, the problem was solved instantly. That means I paid Montesinos and Sons for a faulty tire and was left dealing with the stress, inconvenience, and extra cost... during a time when every dollar matters. As someone already struggling adjusting to life with a newborn, this situation was overwhelming and felt incredibly unfair. I trusted them to provide a safe and reliable fix, and instead I lost money and peace of mind. I would strongly caution others, especially families and people on tight budgets to be careful coming here.

VIP told me they'd check the alignment, but that the issue was probably the wheel balancing. They also said they might want to do a full diagnostic, which apparently costs more than $300. I told them to go ahead and fix the balancing, and if the issue persisted I'd come back for the diagnostic. When they went to check the balancing, they told me "yeah the balancing was WAY off." Then they fixed it, or so they told me. I paid around $230 for the fix. The problem never went away. Nothing was fixed. Yesterday, I took my car to a different shop, because I was suspicious of the way VIP handled the situation. The new shop looked at my balancing and said it was completely messed up. So, as far as I can tell, VIP charged me $230 and did absolutely nothing to fix the car. I'm honestly considering filing a complaint with the BBB or pursuing further actions if I can find the time.

Hit a (BIG) pothole passing through Boston on I-93 near the gas tanks. Pulled over. Damned... two…read moreflat tires on driver side. Contacted AAA for a tow. Where to? I'm headed for the Cape, live in NH. Some place that has tires to purchase. Got recommendation and waited for truck. Called destination, but they had no tires my size (Mazda 6), wait until Monday. Can't. It's a Friday, and while I have a place to go on Cape or home, either is a drive, but no car. Called around to other tire places in area. Same response... no tires my size. After a dozen places, finally called DR. "Oh yeah, we have that size. Come on in." "Two???" "Yeah." Amazed, but this was only place that said they could help. Tow truck driver heard of them. "Good people," he said. Arrived. Immediately put car on hydraulic jacks. Tires off in 5 minutes. Took them in and replaced with "like new" tires. Done in less than 45 minutes (waited longer for tow!). Price: $160 plus a bit more for credit card. Was at Cape before dusk. Footnote: Car went for state inspection a month later. Tires passed. "Like new" was apt. This was an emergency and they came through. Patronize these guys! Recommended 100%.

They lost one star because of the difficulty making an appointment; said they would call back but never did until I eventually pushed and only then did they tell me they need a deposit for an appointment. Service was great! They called to let me know they were at my place. I took my car out of the parking structure and they took off and repaired the tire right there at the roadside. Took about 15 mins total. Saved me a lot of hassle of actually having to go to a shop. Highly recommend!

I went to Sullivans in Plymouth for decades, they were always good with service, this Sullivans is horrific and will nickle and dime you, lie to you and take you for everything you've got ; just check the other reviews.
