They are honest and go above the line in service. They have been doing my wheel alignments for decades now.

TERRIBLE! I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY REPAIR…read more 1. They will overcharge you for used parts invoiced as "NEW" Always double check the parts on your invoices and ask them for the part numbers! If you see them back stepping, it's not good. I found a $1,000 front drive shaft that didn't show up on any vendors website. When I called them out on it, he said he would have to call me back "Because their INTERNET GOT VERY, VERY SLOW" Once I spotted this, Their entire credibility went down the pipes. 2. Convenience Mechanics, what's good for their pocket, NOT YOU! They will pick & choose jobs based on what's easy for them. And even if you give them the job based on good faith. They'll still find a way to screw it up. I didn't need an oil change or air filter. I told them to focus on the rear main seal. 3. Failure to perform a basic "Oil change" My truck sat in their lot FOR OVER A MONTH! & when I picked it up. IT HAD NO OIL & THE OIL FILTER LOOKED OLD & USED! When I checked the invoice for the filter. It was the wrong brand. And then he asked me "What type of filter it was on" How disappointing. 4. Mishandling Parts on "Basic Connectors & Switches." I found a broken clip to the mass airflow sensor, something that you have to be-careful when removing it but their work ethic was brash, forgetful & clumsy. 5. Failure to Communicate effectively & verify working Jobs. Initially I called & texted to confirm the transmission job seal replacement was included in the price. And they said Oh yeah, don't worry about it that's already included in the price. ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT IT NEVER WAS! COME ON MAN! A $4,400 Job & they treated it like an after thought. 6. Lazy & Incompetent Mechanics. 7. SAFETY INSPECTION FAILURE. Before I rolled out their lot I asked them "Is the vehicle safe on the Road?" "Oh Yes! Everything was checked & inspected for safety" BULLSHIT! When I went to verify if everything was bolted & secure. I noticed the inspection cover to the transmission was missing. Leaving the inner transmission exposed. You could cause an explosion from the middle of the truck breaking it in half. And if your traveling at a high rate of speed, forget about it cause it's over! All for the negligence of their so called...."Inspection" When I asked them about it, they denied it. So I had to point it out again on their invoice until they finally admitted to it. He called it a minor forgetful incident. I said "For who? How about if it was your car, I asked him? Would you accept that service? No, he said, "I would not accept that service." Finally an Honest Answer I thought. In the end they took some accountability for their bad service and even bought me a new cover to the transmission. However, I still had to put it on myself cause they lost my respect. I managed to receive a partial refund from them, but I got the sense they were more angry than sorry. The vibes don't lie. The only reason why I got any money back was because I threatened to expose them. I had the Better Business Bureau, The Cities Safety Commission, The Bar for Auto Mechanics, I had everyone lined up on a list ready to roll and it was gonna be a huge negligence and endangerment shut down! I had the sheriffs office already in mind and everything. The threat was real. So once they took a serious look at their exposure they backed up and said "Alright buddy we'll give you back some money but... Please don't shut us down.." However I am a man of my word and I still have to put you on blast for your horrendous business practices. And remember if they did it to me, You bet your ass they'll do it to you! Being a Mechanic comes with a lot of genuine public notoriety & when they're doing sketchy work, it's only gonna come back to REMIND YOU! SO HONOR YOUR WORD & STAND WITH INTEGRITY WHILE SERVNG YOUR COMMUNITY! IF OTHER BUSINESSES HAVE PROVEN TO DO IT, WHY CAN'T YOU?

Outstanding Service & 5-Star Experience…read more We recently had an unexpected transmission issue while traveling back to San Diego after dropping our son off at ASU. After spending nearly an entire day pulled over on the side of the road and trying to figure out what to do, we eventually had our vehicle towed to Ramco and stayed overnight at a hotel. We truly couldn't have ended up at a better place. From the very beginning, Ramco was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly fair. They took the time to explain everything to us, were completely transparent about our options, and never made us feel pressured or like they were taking advantage of a stressful situation. Because we were traveling and dealing with an unexpected vehicle problem, I wanted to make sure we were getting the right information. I reached out to my brother-in-law, who works for San Diego Police Department (SDPD) and is responsible for the mechanical work on their vehicles. I explained everything Ramco had told us, and he gave me the exact same explanation and diagnosis. That gave me a tremendous amount of confidence and reassured me that Ramco was being completely honest with us and that we were not being taken advantage of. Their expertise and honesty gave us peace of mind, and most importantly, they helped get us safely back on the road so we could make it home to San Diego. I only wish Ramco were located in San Diego because I would absolutely continue using them and recommend them to everyone I know. If we are ever in the area and need automotive service again, Ramco will definitely be our first call. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would!

Had an honest interaction with them did a service on my transmission of fluid drain, filter change,…read moreand fluid replace. It was a 2011 Chevy Tahoe with 200,000+ miles. I was impressed that they pull the pan and don't try to sell you a flush or power flush or any of that stuff. Didn't try to upsale me on anything and was done quickly. Customer service skills could use a little work but they were not rude in any way just a little bit unwelcoming. That's why 4 instead of 5. All in all though they did an excellent job and I would recommend.

My Honda Civic had always been passed and borrowed to numerous different Marines who needed a car,…read moredriven back and forth across states, across the country, and never had any proper maintenance done on it. My father recently passed and he was always the one to help me with the car stuff he was still capable of doing with his health issues, so it was really hard to even know where to begin with my vehicle, as I had no clue what actual work had ever been done on it. I requested a checkup on my vehicle to see what needed maintenance before the car saw any more long distance drives. Dan was so incredibly helpful the entire time he was with my vehicle. He saw that my transmission fluid was overfilled and horribly burnt. My filler cap was even popped out! He did a flush right away, and even went out of his way to find a new filler cap out in town as Honda didn't have them in stock. We are both veterans, so it was also a blast to talk with him as well! Good prices, quality care, and even better customer service. This is the place you call if you're looking for a company that cares about their work.
