I purchase a car from Victoria two months ago. The process went very smoothly!!! She's knowledgeable, attentive and a great sales woman!! Today, Alec assisted with putting my new license plates on my SUV!!! Great service as well. No questions asked he politely assisted!

After I had inquired about this truck for two weeks. I got a call that the new 2024 GMC 2500 ultimate was in. My wife and I went to go look at the truck and went to talk to the salesperson to start the buying process. They checked my credit after that I was told that the price had increased 10k because it had just arrived; And that they had two more buyers waiting to buy it. After I was told the price was 95k before I arrived to the dealer. Very disappointed in the way they get their clients in and waste our time. I did not purchase the truck for 10k over asking price when the online price when it was 95k and they were asking 105k I thought that was crazy and I was being taking advantage of. I have purchased several vehicles before and by far this dealership is one of the worst I been. Do not do business with this dealer very dishonest and unprofessional.

Where do I start with Woodforest. They are the most outdated bank I have done business with. The…read moreonly way to activate their debit cards to to go to a branch and use the atm. There was fraud on my debit card, my account was drained, they only caught 2 of the smaller transactions, and reversed them. They said I would have to do a dispute for the rest of the charges even though they were only minutes apart. They make you come in to a branch and sign forms about the fraud, this took me about 30 minutes in the branch. They told me I would get the money back in 3-5 days. That's not the norm, first off. I called back in 4 business days to check on the status to find out the papers were never "sent in" from the branch I visited, so they can't process my money back to me. The customer service "manager" couldn't get ahold of the branch I signed papers at, so they have to request the papers electronically. I was on the phone for 25 minutes while she tried to get someone in the branch to answer the phone, just for her to tell me she couldn't help me today because no one would answer the phone at that branch. Then she continued to question me as if I never went in and signed the papers. They said they do not have to give me any type of provisional credit for the next 10 days and they will get back to me. This bank is a joke.

14 years with this bank. 7 figures deposited…read more Numerous loans paid off as agreed. Never an overdraft. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK. THEY WILL COME AFTER YOU TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR YOUR PERSONAL INTERESTS REGARDLESS OF PERSONAL REASONING BEHIND ANY FAILURE YOU MAY HAVE EXPERIENCED. During the pandemic I, as well as many, experienced a great hardship after reduced work, cancelled projects and reduced direct deposits. How did Community Resource Credit Union react to my hardships? CRCU hired an attorney to sue me over credit card debt. NOT overdrafts, fees and other banking expenses, just simple credit card debt. My credit card debt was about $11K. FIRST THEY SEND OUT A PERSON TO DELIVER A LETTER FROM CRCU EXPLAINING THE DEBT OWED. THIS IS THE VERIFICATION TO PROVE WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED AND WHERE THE CONSTABLE CAN FIND YOU TO SERVE THE COURT DOCUMENTS. GREAT DECEPTION. While they could have written off the loss, as many banking institutions do, I refused to let that happen and requested additional time to pay off the debt. While they offered reduced settlements, I often stressed the fact that my debt was MY DEBT and only I was responsible for paying it off. HUGE MISTAKE. During the lag time of acquiring the funds to make payments, they systematically- through personal decisions of certain banking staff- debited my account for maximum amounts according to the amounts of the deposits that were being made to my account- without as much as a phone call to advise. At the end of the crisis- up to the moment I was about to pay off the whole and complete amount due- CRCU was still offering the reduced amount. Why? Had I only paid the reduced request CRCU was offering, I would not EVER be able to open any other bank account- AT ANY BANKING INSTITUTION ANYWHERE- as long as a judgement remained unpaid FULLY. THIS WAS THEIR TACTIC- TO FURTHER RUIN ME TO THE FULLEST EXTENT. I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT I OWED AND OWE THEM NOTHING TODAY. I ALSO PAID THE ATTORNEY FEES OF ABOUT $1100.

Being an account owner here has its perks. I have banked with them since my teens. The location…read morehere in Baytown is relatively new. It is in a strip center. There are no fees for your basic checking and savings account. You don't need to maintain a minimum balance. There are only fees if you don't manage your account and overdraft. There are a ton of services the bank provides. One being a free notary of you are an account holder. This has come in handy numerous times for me. Loans are somewhat easy to come by if you have fair credit. Recently they have their own mortgage company and started selling many different kinds of insurance. Investments are available here too with advisors. Having so many great things going for the bank makes it hard for me to list the negative things. But I must mention. ATM is frquently down on weekends when you need it the most. Their ATM network Allpoint is fee free which is great but only if the Atm's are working. I have had 2 instances where bill pay was drawn from my account by other members of the cu and they make you jump thru hoops to get your money back not a happy person both times that happened. The final negative thing is that they used to give you a cash loyalty bonus in Feb every year but they have cut it out, their excuse get this Covid 19 lol. Overall if you are looking to change banks I do recommend going with these guys.

After following their guidelines, I was denied for 'not having enough credit history,' even though I have multiple accounts and years of credit use. They also refused to review my income documents (1099/W-2) to prove my financial stability. Customer service was unhelpful, giving me conflicting information. If you value transparency and professionalism in a bank, I recommend looking elsewhere and this isn't the first time having problems with them. Beware and go somewhere else professionally qualified.
