But during this recent visit, I decided to change things up. Let me tell you, the food scene in this city is incredible. I'll probably post several reviews in the coming days, but this one had to be first. Sonoran hot dogs are legendary, and everyone told me they were a must-try while in the area. Several places were recommended, but this establishment was only 10 minutes away from my location -- and yes, it was the #1 recommendation. So luck was definitely on my side. This is a family business that has been featured in dozens of YouTube videos (and probably TV shows as well). I was greeted by a very sweet and polite young lady and ordered a traditional Sonoran Dog, a carne asada taco, and an adobada taco. All I have to say is WOW. The combination of toppings on that dog was amazing. I had never tried anything like it before, and now I want more. That crispy bacon-wrapped hot dog with the beans, onions, crema... just incredible. The tacos were fantastic as well. I can't wait until I return to Tucson in two months. I'm definitely going back and will probably order three of those dogs next time. They also have plenty of seating, both outdoors and indoors, with nice cold A/C for those brutal Arizona summer days.

The staff is super friendly and deliver orders reasonably quickly (in less than 10 minutes, despite moderately long line). The fry bread is freshly fried and of medium-large size (about 8-9 inches in diameter). The red chili was quite good, if a tiny bit runny, so be sure to grab plenty of napkins and don't try to eat this walking or driving, Lol. They have 4 tables with 4 chairs at each with a large canopy providing a lot of shade. They have generator running, the noise wasn't too bad. A wall between the seating and the generator would help. People trickled in while I was there, but there was always a place for them to sit. I'm glad I came here for lunch. This is the type of business that I like to buy from. The restaurant was busy on this Sunday morning, making the service a little slow. However, every worker was very friendly and helpful despite the busy day. The inside is also decorated nicely, making you feel cozy. There is also some outside seating that I would have loved to have utilized if it wasn't full.
