What a cool spot that's so close to my place! Well branded (interior, packaging, signage, swag for…read moresale...) The bonus here is there is a mini roaster and DJ area with two turntables and speakers. Can't wait to go back for some good vibing. My wife loved the ham and cheese danish. I couldn't get enough of that banana bread muffin with my hot mocha. The barista was pleasant and professional and seemed calm when the line started to grow. Luckily, her "sidekick" showed up soon after and helped to move things along, A dynamic duo. Pics to come soon.

In need of nourishment on a trip to Chicago, we stopped by Magnifico Coffee Roasters for some food…read moreand coffee. The establishment has a chill atmosphere and the owner was so incredibly friendly. Even though we were out of town, we were immediately invited to a small event they were having the next day and asked about our days in a manner that reflected genuine interest. I wish this could be my local coffee shop, you're so lucky if this is! Their unique offering was a wonderful selection of coffee and a delicious array of Colombian pastries. We ordered an empanada, a churro donut, almojabana, and the pan de bono. I'm vegetarian so I was very happy to see such a wide number of options for me! The churro donut was delicious and cinnamony - if you like sweet breakfasts, definitely get this! I really enjoyed the almojabana and the pan de bono. I liked the pan de bono so much, I even took a picture of the crumb to share with my mother, who is Colombian! Truly, I could have eaten 5 of the pan de bono because they tasted just like the homemade one's my abuela would make when she visited.

It's Magnificent…read more.. Go big and it will be in Chicago...Starbucks Reserve Roastery Chicago boasts five levels of fabulousness and you know this is up there on my visit to Chicago right in the midst of Magnificent Mile the views here is inside as each level shows case the various Starbucks offerings. There will always be a line getting in especially on a weekend that's when we visited but with five levels you're sure to find a spot many did on the rooftop though we had a spot on the second floor which where we spent most of our visit. In the midst of it all love the bougie spiral escalator that takes you up as if you're entering some magical wonder while the enormous copper roasting tower is a feature that's grand it was a stunning structure to behold. Ordering is basically no different from your usual Starbucks as you wait in line and see the drink menu along with various of baked goods in the display case all naming the various items does make it easy to understand but as I wanted the Matcha flight was sad to find out they were out (sob!) went with the seasonal item of "Iced Black Sesame Matcha Latte" which was really good pairing it will Pumpkin Spice Creme Puff which was a tiny perfect bite. Love that you're able to use your stars here as well as I scanned the various merchandise they have here is quite incredible and opted for a key fob that has Chicago on it was the simple and perfect souvenir for me and got a bag of coffee beans as well. If you're not into the crowds this isn't the place for you as there are many great coffee spots here in Chicago but I enjoyed spending time here as a Reserve status myself was something that I was on my list and thanks to friends that made it happen I'm seeing stars ;) Thank you!

I was very much looking forward to this visit and trying a new drink. We bought two types of chai…read moreand a croissant sandwich. The chai were both 8 ounces. $25+ later. The drinks weren't as good as a dirty chai I normally love, so that was disappointing and it's not their fault, but I didn't sub for oat milk so was given cow's milk of which I don't drink. The croissant sandwich was good but waiting 20+ minutes in line and another 15 for drinks was definitely not worth it imo and made me all jittery around so many humans. The place had so much going on it was almost too hard to enjoy it.

Absolutely love this coffee shop! Happy Monday in Edgewater is such a small and hidden coffee shop…read morewith the best service! It always seems to be a hit and busy on the weekends. And that is because it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays! It is dog friendly, trendy, and such a hit. Highly recommend this local joint.

UPDATE: Wow, what a speedy response, thank you. I usually…read morechat with the guy who runs this location who says he is a co-owner. I figured the limited hours had something to do with the menu. Now that you all have gotten rid of the DJ table and added more chairs, it does feel more like a standard cafe! I'm looking forward to the menu changes. Thanks for your consideration! Previous review: I really enjoy their beverages and I keep coming back. That being said, there is almost no price transparency. The only prices they have on their menu are for the THC additions. I've mentioned this to the owner twice (he's a cool guy) but he has always sort of shrugged it off. It bothers me every time I'm in. Sometimes my latte with oat milk comes out different prices. Price transparency is so important for consistency . Not including the prices is a bit elitist, especially when the average drink is $6-$8. You should want folks to come in and comfortably order what they can afford. I hope this suggestion is taken into consideration. The drinks are good and like I said, I keep coming back but this has been a sticking point for me for a year plus.
