Not satisfied with their online reservation service. We made an appt for 11am (for a dually tire rotation and resetting of the tpms system) that showed open online yet when we got here for our appt they said sorry, that time had been taken and was not available. They said we should have received an email and a call from an associate. Yes, we received an email (when we looked a while later after arriving here) but who checks emails all the time especially when you are getting out the door to get here and (2), no, we did not get a follow-up call from an associate. They totally dropped the ball by (1) not having their online calendar up to date and (2) having an associate not doing his job by callinus. When we walked in to check in he was helping someone else and just said oh ya, I meant to call you on that. Did he say sorry about that... . Luckily the gentleman helping us did better and was able to get us in approx15-20 mins later to get our work done. So, we appreciate you that. It's just not the same place like it used to be. Is this place under new management or ownership? It seems like it but not sure as the customer service is definitely not what it used to be. Just disappointed all in all but glad the gentleman helping us was able to do better than the other guy. And, yes, this service was covered under our original tire purchase. I usually change my own oil, but this time, I made an appointment for an oil change. One price was on the website, but the employee told it was $10 extra at this store. I got there, and it was an additional $10. I watched everyone in the back stand around while my truck sat on the lift. I had to ask an employee to get them to work on my truck. I had also asked them to check the tire pressure. When the truck was finally finished, it was returned with low pressure in two tires, so I had to turn around and go back. They told me they don't stock oil for my 2010, Honda Civic LX, but they could do a full synthetic oil change for $65. I don't know about you but is not right. Horrible customer service, went in to get a nail removed and the manager tells me there's a chance of damage to my wheel if they attempt to remove my tire from the rim. They sell big sized tires but simply can't or won't repair them. The manager then calls the owner and proceeds to jumble around our conversation to which the owner tells him not to preform the patch. I told them to delete my account on the spot. Will no longer support them or recommend them. And if any business' or associates of mine have any accounts with them, I will strongly advise them to not do business with them in the future. Stay away at all cost. Roberto's tire shop across the highway was closed when I went there when I was turned away from Big o tires and fixed my issue without charging me. I called yesterday as I thought my car needed a wheel alignment but wasn't sure. They said bring it in at 2 and our mechanic will check it out. I said 2 pm today? Yes it was so brought in and was taken care of by Forrest. They took my car in then came back out about 15 mins later to say all looked good but they were doing the wheel alignment check next. mins later Forrest comes over with the results and shows that yes I'm needing a wheel alignment. Big O tires in the foothills SUCKS ! About a year ago they had to replace all the lug nuts on my car as their employees damaged all twenty of them ! Vowing to never darken their door again I selected another business . They inspected may car while placing new tires on it and discovered ten lug nuts damaged and replaced them . The reason they were damaged the wrong size socket was used . The Big O in by the foothills is most likely run and staffed by incompetent and unskilled louts . Stay Away from the joke ! read more

On our first road trip with our new 2024 Lexus Rx350, we experienced a rear flat tire, a nail that made the tire irreparable. We called ahead, talked to Rick at the service desk. WORST SERVICE ever. I got to shop by 7:58am today, they open at 8:00am. 1st and only customer there, I just needed an oil change, fan belt tightened if needed. They say 30-45 mins to get it done. I also asked if I could get a quote for Timing Belt replacement. John the "Manager" said he would work in that. I went across street to do laundry. 9:00am, I go back over, my truck stilled parked, the parking lot and bays are full. I go in to pay and be on my way, as an hour has gone by. They say, did we call you? No, I figure an hour is good. The guy I was dealing with says, "Oh, they are now just bringing it in. RYKM? I told they I want my keys back, and this is no way to treat a customer, EVER, especially if you want TV them back. While the staff are pleasant and helpful, the new "franchise" owner, J J VanSchmuck is not. I went in to have a new set of rims installed and all went well until the installer found that for forged rims valve stem hole was a less than 1 mm to small for the factory tpms units to be mounted. The installer was going to file the hole but had no rat tale files. I asked him to run a drill through it but he informed me the owner no longer permitted drills on the property. I went next door and purchased a 100 dollar drill and bit to resolve this emergency only to be informed that the owner wanted me to drill the 1 mm out. I agreed and prior to drilling them out the "owner" would not install the wheels because they would now be "modified". What a pompous ass! Big O has been fine in the past, have used the same store for 15 years with very good luck.... Not any more. It was apparent that the employees felt the same way. My wife took her car in for new tires yesterday by herself and they charged her for things she never asked for such as nitrogen filled tires and tire pressure sensors even though we never had problems with the old ones. If you dont know what your looking at on the papers before you pay you will be scammed into paying a whole lot more than what is needed. 4 new tires ended up costing over $700. All the Big O tire stores in Yuma are owned by the same family. They claim to be a local family owned business that cares about treating customers right.... I had work done at Yuma Big O tires, questioned some of the work they said needed to be done, so asked for the parts to be returned. All replaced parts were lost and I never saw them again. Some parts that were removed during their work were not put back on like the steering stabilizer. When I asked about that, I was told by the shop manager that Josh, the owners representative wanted proof the vehicle had a steering stabilizer on the vehicle when they did the work.... I will never let them work on my vehicle again. The repairs I was charged for, I do not believe were needed. No bad parts were ever returned to show they were bad? They gave me back a vehicle that was unsafe to drive, missing the steering stabilizer. Shortly after the work they did, I had to remove the rear tires. Wow not torqued to the correct foot pounds.... Had to use a 6 foot breaker bar to remove lug nuts..... never again will I go to Any Yuma Big O Tires!!! I would say this family has profited and ripped off this town enough! read more

Too bad this place is so poorly run because they have a prime location. From observing the operation there is no logic on how they handle the work load. Prepare for a wait. Came in for a flat repair. 2.5 hours later and I'll be back on the road. Because of Covid they are not allowing anyone to wait in the store. Updating my recent review on the wheel damage incurred while spending $2300 on new motorhome tires. Finally was able to bring my rig to them for viewing of the damage by their manager JJ! In a nut shell he stated without reservation that "they have no equipment which could have inflicted the damage to either wheel" Essentially implying it was there when I brought the coach in. I bought 4 new trailer tires from them so I wouldn't have any tire problems, but with in 1200 miles I blew a tire they would not back it up they changed me 20 percent tread wear and charged me again for mounting, balance. Tax etc it ended up costing me $55.00 For tire replacement. After they sold me the tires now they won't make good on the other three . This is the third and final time they have burned me. People please, please avoid going to Big O tires in the FH. I took my car in to the Ford dealer because I was hearing a noise coming from the wheels. $80 later I was informed that the tires I had purchased at Big O a year and a half ago were all cupping and that's what was causing the noise. I took my car to Big O in the FH where I purchased them, and they informed me that they were not going to honor the warranty on the tires because I couldn't show proof that I had the tires rotated. I told him that I rotated the tires at my Brother's house who has a lift and they said that wasn't good enough. I spoke with the Owner JJ who rudely said the only thing that would cause this cupping was not rotating the tires or bad shocks and they would not honor the warranty on the tires. When I told him that Ford said the tires were bad he got upset and kept repeating himself. I went to pick up my car and was informed by the employee Juan Padilla that I had to sign a document before he would give me my car back. I also asked him if he had rotated the tires and he said no, that they don't rotate tires that are cupping. He also said that on the back of my original invoice was all the exclusions. When I showed the original invoice that had nothing on the back pages to Juan he said he didn't want to talk about it. He then conveyed to me that I had told his boss to F Off. I informed him that I would never have said that and he told me I was not going to get my keys until I signed. I called the YCSO and they never showed up. Then JJ the owner showed up and I asked him why he would tell his employee that I had told him to F off and he said he didn't tell him that. Anyway, in order to get out of the place I finally signed the invoice. The YCSO never contacted me and it was almost 6PM. (YCSO contacted me @ 6:20pm.) Last year while travelling in my RV pulling my Suzuki SUV in Utah, I noticed a huge puddle under the front of my Suzuki. Thankfully I was right next door to a Big O tire store. The people there were great and diagnosed the problem that the axle that I had just replaced at the Foothills Big O was not properly installed and was about to fall out. Wow, I was sure glad I noticed the front differential leaking. Could you imagine what would have happened if the axle had fallen off? Which it was just about to happen. The total bill over $800 was covered by Big O because they said it was improperly installed. When I returned to Yuma the Owner of the Foothills Big O didn't want to talk to me about it. I have 4 vehicles and have always bought my tires and had all my cars serviced at Big O Tire. I have always defended the company because I figured that things happen and have had good service at other Big O tire shops. I have never in my life been treated in such a manner as today. This was it for me, I should have listened to all the other folks that have had terrible experiences with JJ and Big O Tire. Please take your vehicles to some other tire store in Yuma. This place is Bad!! So now I have to replace all my tires with less that 18K miles. I took a tire in for a needed patch. Was told that it couldn't be patched and that I needed two other tires too. So far, those things may or may not have been true. But after receiving an estimate, I decided to price check other places. I found another place with a lower price. Big O got my car out of the garage and I left, driving on my spare tire. The other place was 15 miles across town. When I got there, we discovered that the rim of the tire Big O had inspected wasn't put back in my car. I called Big O to confirm that it was there. There wasn't an ounce of an apology from them in the phone call. They weren't rude, but they didn't seem to care at all. No shock or surprise either. It sounded like an everyday thing around there. Drove all the way back and walked in. They grabbed the rim and put it in my car. Again, not a single apology, nothing said to make it right.
