I will continue to give these guys the very best rating!! Unfortunately, my car is a 2003 and I am not able to purchase a new car at this time. I have gone to Big Tires at this location 3 times now for 3 different problems. Each time I was treated very well. Each time their expertise lead straight to the problem within 10 minutes!!! Unbelievable. Last night when starting my car -I heard a noise and it ran rough. I drove to the nearest mechanics-won't mention names. They looked and said "oh it could be many things" they were open until 8pm and didn't even bother with me!! So....I rambled down the road. I knew if I made it in time the employees at Foothills Big O Tires would help me! And they sure did!!! Even tho I arrived at 5:45pm they rushed right over to help. I want them to know...AND they need to know how very grateful I am. They deserve an EXCELLENT review. Sorry I didn't catch the girl's name that helped me in the office-but she came right out and explained to the mechanic Butch what my problem was and they both started researching the problem. Not satisfied with their online reservation service. We made an appt for 11am (for a dually tire rotation and resetting of the tpms system) that showed open online yet when we got here for our appt they said sorry, that time had been taken and was not available. They said we should have received an email and a call from an associate. Yes, we received an email (when we looked a while later after arriving here) but who checks emails all the time especially when you are getting out the door to get here and (2), no, we did not get a follow-up call from an associate. They totally dropped the ball by (1) not having their online calendar up to date and (2) having an associate not doing his job by callinus. When we walked in to check in he was helping someone else and just said oh ya, I meant to call you on that. Did he say sorry about that... . Luckily the gentleman helping us did better and was able to get us in approx15-20 mins later to get our work done. So, we appreciate you that. It's just not the same place like it used to be. Is this place under new management or ownership? It seems like it but not sure as the customer service is definitely not what it used to be. Just disappointed all in all but glad the gentleman helping us was able to do better than the other guy. And, yes, this service was covered under our original tire purchase. Their service and eye for details has strongly declined. The way they treated hy husband over an issue they caused at our previous old change 20 days ago to be exact. The female was condescending and rude. I had scheduled an appointment for that oils change and it took them over an hour and a half to do that oil change. In addition to that they found that my breaks were missing a metal wire, when they were the ones to install all 4 of my breaks last year. Now after that oils change they want to state that the twist locks sometime fall... However, my car was missing them all. Which caused the bottom of my car to scrape the highway road on my way up the San Diego Mountains. If it was missing pieces or damaged they could of told me. I keep up to date with everything my car needs. Yet they decided to lack the common sense to inform of this, when they informedme about my missing brake wire. All they did was zip tid it, which my husband had also done as an emergency in the middle of our road trip. They are a big joke and a scam recently. I usually change my own oil, but this time, I made an appointment for an oil change. One price was on the website, but the employee told it was $10 extra at this store. I got there, and it was an additional $10. I watched everyone in the back stand around while my truck sat on the lift. I had to ask an employee to get them to work on my truck. I had also asked them to check the tire pressure. When the truck was finally finished, it was returned with low pressure in two tires, so I had to turn around and go back. Called before hand to get tires balanced. I do own 35in tires so just wanted to check because not everyone can. They also said how they were slow maintenance wise and it wouldn't take long to do. I am new to Yuma. I've lived here for three months. I received a 50% off basic oil change coupon for 1799+ tax. I called the Big O on frontage Road and asked if I could make an appointment. They told me they don't stock oil for my 2010, Honda Civic LX, but they could do a full synthetic oil change for $65. I don't know about you but is not right. I stopped by today to have a valve stem replaced on a tire/wheel off my travel trailer. I was told the tire was from 2013 and it's company policy we cannot touch it. Was obviously wanting me to buy a new tire but I cut him off and said I'll take it somewhere else. I did and got it fixed with no problem. Horrible customer service, went in to get a nail removed and the manager tells me there's a chance of damage to my wheel if they attempt to remove my tire from the rim. They sell big sized tires but simply can't or won't repair them. The manager then calls the owner and proceeds to jumble around our conversation to which the owner tells him not to preform the patch. I told them to delete my account on the spot. Will no longer support them or recommend them. And if any business' or associates of mine have any accounts with them, I will strongly advise them to not do business with them in the future. Stay away at all cost. Roberto's tire shop across the highway was closed when I went there when I was turned away from Big o tires and fixed my issue without charging me. I called yesterday as I thought my car needed a wheel alignment but wasn't sure. They said bring it in at 2 and our mechanic will check it out. I said 2 pm today? Yes it was so brought in and was taken care of by Forrest. They took my car in then came back out about 15 mins later to say all looked good but they were doing the wheel alignment check next. mins later Forrest comes over with the results and shows that yes I'm needing a wheel alignment. They then do the wheel alignment and start to finish I was in there a total of 50mins. excellent service, great staff. My second time there but it won't be my last as I was so impressed. Big O tires in the foothills SUCKS ! About a year ago they had to replace all the lug nuts on my car as their employees damaged all twenty of them ! Vowing to never darken their door again I selected another business . They inspected may car while placing new tires on it and discovered ten lug nuts damaged and replaced them . The reason they were damaged the wrong size socket was used . The Big O in by the foothills is most likely run and staffed by incompetent and unskilled louts . Stay Away from the joke ! read more

On our first road trip with our new 2024 Lexus Rx350, we experienced a rear flat tire, a nail that made the tire irreparable. We called ahead, talked to Rick at the service desk. He greeted us when we arrived. Big-O did not have our odd size and make of tire in stock. Rick proceeded to call every tire shop and dealer in the area. While the staff are pleasant and helpful, the new "franchise" owner, J J VanSchmuck is not. I went in to have a new set of rims installed and all went well until the installer found that for forged rims valve stem hole was a less than 1 mm to small for the factory tpms units to be mounted. The installer was going to file the hole but had no rat tale files. I asked him to run a drill through it but he informed me the owner no longer permitted drills on the property. I went next door and purchased a 100 dollar drill and bit to resolve this emergency only to be informed that the owner wanted me to drill the 1 mm out. I agreed and prior to drilling them out the "owner" would not install the wheels because they would now be "modified". What a pompous ass! Big O has been fine in the past, have used the same store for 15 years with very good luck.... Not any more. It was apparent that the employees felt the same way. Do not take your car here if you are a female! My wife took her car in for new tires yesterday by herself and they charged her for things she never asked for such as nitrogen filled tires and tire pressure sensors even though we never had problems with the old ones. If you dont know what your looking at on the papers before you pay you will be scammed into paying a whole lot more than what is needed. 4 new tires ended up costing over $700. WORST SERVICE ever. I got to shop by 7:58am today, they open at 8:00am. 1st and only customer there, I just needed an oil change, fan belt tightened if needed. They say 30-45 mins to get it done. All the Big O tire stores in Yuma are owned by the same family. They claim to be a local family owned business that cares about treating customers right.... I had work done at Yuma Big O tires, questioned some of the work they said needed to be done, so asked for the parts to be returned. All replaced parts were lost and I never saw them again. Some parts that were removed during their work were not put back on like the steering stabilizer. When I asked about that, I was told by the shop manager that Josh, the owners representative wanted proof the vehicle had a steering stabilizer on the vehicle when they did the work.... I will never let them work on my vehicle again. The repairs I was charged for, I do not believe were needed. No bad parts were ever returned to show they were bad? They gave me back a vehicle that was unsafe to drive, missing the steering stabilizer. Shortly after the work they did, I had to remove the rear tires. Wow not torqued to the correct foot pounds.... Had to use a 6 foot breaker bar to remove lug nuts..... never again will I go to Any Yuma Big O Tires!!! I would say this family has profited and ripped off this town enough! read more

Too bad this place is so poorly run because they have a prime location. From observing the operation there is no logic on how they handle the work load. Prepare for a wait. Came in for a flat repair. 2.5 hours later and I'll be back on the road. Because of Covid they are not allowing anyone to wait in the store. Would be nice if they provided outside heaters for their customers. Staff was nice so going to add a star for that. Updating my recent review on the wheel damage incurred while spending $2300 on new motorhome tires. Finally was able to bring my rig to them for viewing of the damage by their manager JJ! In a nut shell he stated without reservation that "they have no equipment which could have inflicted the damage to either wheel" Essentially implying it was there when I brought the coach in. I bought 4 new trailer tires from them so I wouldn't have any tire problems, but with in 1200 miles I blew a tire they would not back it up they changed me 20 percent tread wear and charged me again for mounting, balance. Tax etc it ended up costing me $55.00 For tire replacement. After they sold me the tires now they won't make good on the other three . This is the third and final time they have burned me.
