She took the truck to the shop and they were supposed to fix the rear main seal and the water pump. They proceeded to tell her it wasn't the rear main seal and that we needed a new oil pan. Charged her for what should've been a gold plated coil pan and then they didn't connect the air intake properly and also jammed the mass airflow sensor in sideways. When I had gotten my truck back after deployment it was gasping for air we found the air leak and fixed that particular problem. However I ignored that it had a new rough idle and it just threw code for both banks and that's when I noticed the mass airflow sensor. whoever the mechanic that worked on my vehicle should never be allowed near a vehicle again. The amount of items he was negligent towards not to mention the lack of finesse with the parts he reapplied show he does not have what it takes to be a mechanic. I was so mad initially with how I got my truck back i didnt ever want to acknowledge my truck went to that shop I now regret not taking it back and forcing them to fix what they had done.

Many locations in Gillette at the time were booked a week out, but when I explained our situation to Midas, they fit us right in. They explained every step of their inspection process and let us know the issues going on with our car in a very timely manner. Mike was extremely kind and understanding and did everything he could to help us out. I also really appreciated that when I asked for explanations of the purposes of the broken parts in the car, Mike explained them thoroughly without talking down to me, which I have often faced in auto shops. Got an alignment today, after alignment there was three warning lights on my dashboard…read more The store did not disclose that they cannot reprogram that computer on a Toyota. I called the store and complained ended up taking my truck to another shop to get realigned and the computer codes cleared. Turns out they didn't even align my truck completely correct. Paid for an alignment that meant nothing at Les Schwab waste of $125. Ended up paying for another alignment at another store that could clear my codes because the alignment sheet showed that Les Schwab didn't do jack shit to my truck as far as aligning it.

It didn't involve buying new tires because diagnosis of the problem with under inflation was unknown - it could've been a defective tire or tire with a nail in it. Also, the readings for tire gauge with it were different from the tire, pressure management system, signaling that perhaps one or the other might be faulty. I had these folks look into it. they figured out tge solutions in about 15 minutes. Can't say enough good things about this place or the staff and management. Discount tire doesn't usually charge customers for air checks and top offs. But if they help you out as they did me I suggest you leave this guys who did the work a cash tip. Discount tire will get my next tire business.

Turns out we had a screw in the tire. While waiting, we watched the team help others. Seth and Jordan were knowledgeable, professional and kind with every customer. The place ran like a well-oiled machine. Lol. Hagen removed and patched our tire for us. And when we pulled our credit card out, he said, "No charge". We tipped and told him to buy the boys a beer.
