This big o tires is dishonest, lacks integrity, and will try to scam you out of your money. No one should be giving this big O tires location any money, but women especially. I took my car here yesterday for two new tires. In the past two months my car had already been to a tire shop and looked at by a family member, and also to the dealership to get a recalled piece replaced. So I already knew of any and all issues with my car due to the first tire shop visit and the Ford dealership visit. After getting my tires, the employees gave me a list of "issues" that needed to be addressed on my car. Stating that one of the issues was $1200 and needed to be taken care of immediately, but I had a grand total of $2,000 worth of issues. Again, they didn't know I had already sent my car to another tire shop and the Ford dealership within the last 2 months where no one ever stated these issues with my car but they had told me what did need to be done, and they were consistent with each other. Immediately when I got home from big o tires, I had my cousin who works at the tire shop I initially sent my car to to check my car for the issues big o said I had. He did not find any of them. The only reason I didn't keep my car at my cousins shop was because it was more expensive than big o, but at least they don't lack integrity and were honest about my issues. The big o tires employees were trying to get me, a girl who walked in by herself and knows little to anything about cars, out of $2,000 when nothing was wrong with my car. They lack integrity and shouldn't get another dime. I absolutely do not recommend. Update 2 months later: my car has been leaking ever since it was serviced here. I was driving and I started to hear this clicking sound out my window. I pulled over and I saw a large screw stuck in my rear tire. Dam sucks. I called my regular tire place but said it would take almost three hours to fix it. I called Big O and they said about an hour. I arrived and it is a small shop. The inside didn't have much of a showroom or places to wait. They guy checked me in and said it would be 40 bucks. It would probably be an hour. Yeah. I had just bought my lunch from Jollibee. So I ate it in their waiting area. Another guy came in after me about five minutes or so. He to had a flat tire that needed to be fixed. It was a little over an hour and the clerk called the other guy up. His car was already done. Dam and I was first. I was kind of pissed but didn't say anything. Why was his done. Soon afterwards he called my name and my car was done. I still kind of pissed but 5-10 minutes after and I don't know why. Still a little messed up. I should of been first. Mike is the best! I recently moved to the area and knew my car needed some work done. I've previously gone to Big O's so I opted for the Elk Grove location. My issue was a bit more severe than we anticipated but Mike broke the news gently and explained everything in detail. He laid out the work that needed to be done based on level of importance and was honest about what work he felt I could hold off on for now. He was so patient with me and answered all of my questions. He also worked me with to save money where we could. They had my car for a few days and updated me daily with the progress and expected timeline. They scheduled me for a return visit a month later to inspect the work and make sure everything was in tip top shape (free of charge). I noticed a minor noise before this and when I called the shop they got me in the very next day and corrected the issue quickly. I am so happy with the work they did but even more so with the customer service and the peace of mind that I know my vehicle is safe to drive as a commuter!! Would have given them 5 stars but after I checked out and walked to my car, which was backed into the parking space, I noticed it was parked oddly close to the cement base of the light pillar. And I was right. The tech who parked my car backed into the cement pillar. Had he moved my car a bit forward, I would've never known. Guess the tech was in a rush because my car is equipped with a backup camera and didn't bother to utilize that. The guy who checked me in/out, (forgot his name, I suck at remembering names) noticed that I was coming back in the shop and he met me at the door. I showed him what the tech did and he said he would order me some touch up paint from Honda and would have it in a few weeks. Hopefully it's just cosmetic. He also said he'd talk to the tech. ‍. I woke up to find my rear passenger tire flat. I inflate the tire and test it for psi air release to assess my condition and safety of road travel. Just a note. It's worth investing in a tire pressure inflator for use at home. Saved me time b annoyance of putting on a spare. Back to the issue. I call in to ask for a spot for a repair. I was told to come in. I walk into the store and was greeted and spoken to promptly and professionally. I ended up choosing to replace all four tires as they have served me well above expectations and time life. Ten years of use, this is what occurs when you drive safely. Back to the issue, I was told to come back as they did not have the items on hand. Then was later informed (as I was leaving) that an option to have a special delivery made, for me to get my tires done the same day. I was advised to go home. My tires were checked for psi and additional added for temporary travel (.5 miles down the block). And was called back two hours later to come back into get my car serviced. Two and half hours later my car is complete, with all the bells and whistle checks of brakes, TPMS sensor checks, random notes of struts and the tell tale features of a brand new wheel. Which is white molding on the exterior of the wheels. The prices are competitive, they don't take risks as they use their own parts, and they did not push a sales on a possible strut replacement. Do your homework before getting strut replacements. Gotta trust them with their parts is the gripe. Then again they want to make sure it works as intended. I drove off the lot with random noises from new wheel mold, happy as can be. Additional information. Vehicle serviced was a Lexus RX 350 2007 TPMS sensors are the psi check tool for your tires. Average 70-100 bucks each and die over ten years. Four wheels mid upper range is approximately 700 bucks. Competitive prices. This was the cost of my wheels that lasted for ten years, only to die from a random screw and or glass shard. Note. Randomly got into some dudes car thinking they pulled my car up to the door. It was not my car. It was some random dudes car whom apparently did not clean, care, and had random questionable marks gouged on the side of his vehicle. Bad drivers, require more maintenance for their vehicles. This car had the tell tale signs, as well as how it was parked. Don't drive and act like this guy if you wanna save money. read more

Took my daughter's car in to get an oil change last Saturday, and come Monday there's a huge oil stain on my driveway...her car is leaking oil. I took it in today (such an inconvenience), they fixed it, said it was a faulty oil plug, which they did. You're supposed to trust these people and hope they do it right. ****STAY THE F*** AWAY*** Completely unprofessional business. My tires are pretty worn. For my and others' safety, I needed to get new tires and I needed to get it this weekend because my only weekend available was about 1 month out. I called on Tuesday to make an appointment for Saturday. The guy that answer the phone told me that they can get me in at 10am, and proceeded to end the call. I said wait, but, you didn't even ask me what kind of car I have or which tires I wanted to ensure you guys have them in stock. He's like, oh, what kind of car do you have; I told him, and he was like, that's a common car, we have plenty of tires on stock and tries to hang up again. I asked him quickly, do you guys carry Michelin, and he again assured me that they have plenty in stock. I get there Saturday morning, the guy helping me, looks at my tires and comes back, does a bunch of stuff on the computer while I waited patiently. I figured at some point he will ask me what kind of tires am I looking for. Nope! Finally, he was like we have a set of blah blah blah and it will be $700+ installed. I'm like, that's not what I want or requested when I called. I wanted a specific type of Michelin. He's like, well, we have absolutely no Michelin on stock right now. W-T-F!!! Are you kidding me? Had the dude told me that on Tuesday, I would not be here! I would have called around and make an appointment somewhere else. It's 10:30 now, how am I going to find another location to get new tires. Came in around 8am that was my first mistake after about two hours my oil change was done. I drive across the street to Sam's Club. My car is completely smoking. I pulled over pop the hood to see oil exploded everywhere I call big O let them know I check to make sure that the oil cap is on the beautification plastic cover on. My engine completely falls off. It was never secured. I head back over to big o they said that the tech had spilled oil and the force of me starting the car splattered the oil everywhere they take my car immediately to the back 45 minutes later, they bring my car back out. I walk out to the car pop the hood and it looks exactly the same. I show the worker the pictures I walk him out to my hood that still popped open in the parking lot and so he sees for himself that it's exactly the same, the worker who did the work came out I show him the pictures and I show him under my hood. He claims that he doesn't know where that oil came from because yes he spilled oil, but he only spilled it all over my Cadillac converter and not under the hood and that I must not understand how gravity works I told him that I came in and my engine did not look like this and if he had spilled oil, why not just clean it up in the first place, so that we didn't end up in the situation then I told him about the beautification cover, not being reattached, after the work was completed and he claimed that I came in there with it unattached and he just never attached it back because that's how I came in which seems extremely strange. I have the notes and no where do I see that the beautification cover was not attached, and that screws were missing, nor was there any remarks about oil being exploded under the hood as soon as I said that he said that he's the foreman of this establishment that nobody there, including him would ever touch my car again that I needed to get off of the property and never come back again and that he doesn't care what I do and that I can report him to the bar so his wish is my command. I did exactly that these are the photos that I have. Everything under the hood is covered in oil, including my windshield wipers. The underside of my car is covered in oil. The beautification cover is missing screws now, and every time I turn on my air conditioning it smells like burning sugar or burning, maple syrup, making it unbearable to turn on my AC . The manager, Jason did call and offer a refund and to give me a engine bay cleaning that he would personally do but I don't know that big O is in the business of doing engine bay cleanings and I don't know that I am looking for any other problems, nor do I necessarily feel safe, leaving my car with them and I wouldn't feel safe being on the property Now that they know that Ive called the bar on them. I called in to make an appointment for a full fluid flush on my Mitsubishi Evo, not only did Derek Give me a amazing price that nobody could beat, but he also had the fluids ordered same day. He and his crew noticed some seals leaking from the transmission and rear differential and changed them free of charge. Good people here at Big O Tires, they are busy at times but they do try their hardest to get you back on the road. Don't hesitate, give them a call and ask for Derek. Got there on my time slot and got out of there within an hour as stated. Con: They did not tell me they were going to test drive my vehicle after the service. Not a big deal but you need to tell your customers. I wouldn't leave anything attractive to mechanics. I borrowed a torx set from a friend and left it on my driverside door. It's missing now. I have talked to Shirley and another gentleman on the phone a few times doing my appointments set up and reschedules. They are always very polite and helpful on the phone. I am there on 3/5/2020 afternoon. Shirley is at the check-in counter helping another customer. She has given me a very nice greeting and let me know she will be with me shortly. The check-in is very fast and the car is ready after I come back from lunch. Shirly is also give me detail of what they did and what I have to pay attention to my vehicle. Very excellent service. I tried to get my supposed to be warranty tires and they came with saying that I did not follow protocol of getting my oil changed and tire rotation at the same time each time. They never told me I had to do that so now they say my warranty is voided. WOW, really? Just came by to have my NIB wheels and tires mounted and that's it. Job was completed in the evening and the employees graciously placed all 4 of my wheels and tires in my truck. Once i got home, i find 2 of my (NEW) wheels are scratched. One pretty badly. I tried using wax, and it did not help. Scratches went deep into the primer. A sight for sore eyes. I am so unhappy. Contacted the store and they say their equipment has rubber stoppers/bumpers. (Waxing it did not help). "Bring it by tomorrow when the owner is here". Will provide and update. Made an appointment for an oil change for 8am, took until 12:30pm. They told me it wouldn't get started on until 8:30am because they have to pull out the cars that were left at the shop. This is the first big o tires that I went to did that, kept cars overnight. The tech Aaron worked on my car and when I went to pick it up, there was a big scratch on my front pumper. They claimed they didn't do it. Bullshit. Also Aaron has earphones on and cannot hear anything around him. I know OSHA won't like that at all, I'm surprised he's ASE certified. Avoid this place if possible. If I could give this place zero stars, I would... Let me start off by saying, I know auto places take forever, so I normally just drop my car off and wait for a call to pick my car up when it's ready, but I was in need of an oil change. I contacted this location around noon. I spoke to someone in the front desk who was helpful and answered all my questions. He informed me that they stop taking cars in after 3PM and they weren't "too busy" at that time and if I came "now" the oil change and tire rotation would take about 45 min - an hour. I decided to head over with my one month old baby. I got to the place and the guy in the front desk (I'm guessing same guy who answered my call) informed me that it would be an hour wait before they could start on my car. I informed him I called not too long ago and they told me they would be able to take assist me right away. He said, "yeah, we just got backed up." I understood, so I told him I'll come back another time. He saw that I had my baby with me, so he told me to come back at 4PM and he would be able to get me "in and out" since no other customer would be there and they didn't want me to wait long with a baby. I thought, "hey, how nice is that." I came back exactly at 3:56PM and they took my information and keys. In my head I thought they would start on my car right away since they informed me that they would "get me in and out." 30 minutes went by and I noticed my car still parked where I parked at, so I asked Derek (who I was informed was the manager) and he looks in the back and says, "there's no car back there, so they should be taking it back shortly." Another 15 minutes went back and my month old baby is getting fussy, so I just asked Derek for my keys and left. Like I said, I know auto shops can take awhile, but DON'T TELL SOMEONE TO COME BACK and you'll get them "in and out" and not live up to that ... ESPECIALLY when they have a baby with them! I bought 4 new tires and asked them to check out my car. They reported car is fine sold me tires and took my money. One day later my car was shaking alot. Took it to Lexus. I needed front n rear brakes and both rotors front n back were worn and needed replacement with new front/rear brakes. WTH??? How can an auto shop miss the fact my brakes were extremely bad??? I was very upset. They dont deserve my business cuz they cant care enough to do a safe assessment. Work ethic extremely bad. Irresponsible service to clients. DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my car in the end of 2022 for some tire issues and also had them check out a loud squeal that was happening in my engine. I had already purchased an engine from this location a couple years prior so I couldn't understand why I would be having sounds like this. I assumed it was a belt, but after them checking it out, they told me my belts were like new and that it was a pully and gave me documentation to this with a quote. I then returned in December 2022 to have the pully repaired, only this time I was told it wasn't the pully, that it was the tensioner. So I spent my day there, getting the tensioner fixed, spending hundreds of dollars (I purchased a new set of tires as well and replaced my breaks) and that night while driving my car, the sound started back up. I recorded the sound and time stamped the video. I took the next day off of work and I returned to tell them that whatever they just charged me for (the tensioner) was not the problem and did not fix the squeal. I needed this fixed as I was going out of town that weekend. This time, after more hours there, the mechanic comes out into the lobby with a belt (mind you, the same belt they had checked before that had no issues) and shows me a tiny bend in a couple levels of the belt and said now THIS was the actual issue. I said- fine- replace the belt. So now, after spending over 1000$ on tires, breaks and tensioner repair-3 days of time off, they replace the belt. Now I have a loud clicking sound in my engine when I start it, and the belt still squeals tho not as loud, AND my breaks shake and squeak. I have all of the supporting documentation with dates and time stamps. I am appalled at the service. 1300$ and I am no better off than I was? Not to mention all the money I spent on the engine and other services? HORRIBLE. read more
