We shared the cauliflower appetizer, which was delicious, and I ordered the falafel sandwich while my husband enjoyed the grilled chicken kebab. Everything was well-priced and came out quickly, even during the busy lunch rush. The staff were friendly, and I really loved the community-driven mission behind the restaurant, it made the whole experience feel even more special. Parking can be a little tricky, but it's manageable and well worth it. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Baltimore!

I really appreciated her vibe, and I noticed that when food is ready, she actually comes out from behind the counter to hand-deliver it to customers. That kind of small gesture goes a long way. The place is mostly carry-out, but there are a few bar-style seats if you want to eat there. The menu isn't your typical fast food lineup either, they've got some creative, non-traditional options that definitely stand out. We tried the Jerk Chicken Cheesesteak, Fried Chicken Sandwich, 1908 Chicken Cheesesteak, and Fish Tacos, and they were all delicious. Seriously, everything was seasoned well and packed with flavor, with the exception of our fries, which isn't the end of the world. The jerk cheesesteak had a nice kick without being too spicy, and the fried chicken sandwich had the perfect crunch. For drinks, we had the Strawberry Lemonade and the Peach Half & Half, both were refreshing and hit that perfect sweet spot without being too sugary. Overall, Café 1908 has a cool vibe, great food, and friendly service. It's one of those hidden gems you're glad you stumbled across.

The concept is really intriguing here, you can buy a bottle of Grand Marnier and it'll stay in that bar forever, until you drink it all. If you come back anytime, you can drink it for free or pay a couple of bucks if you want it mixed into a cocktail. They have thousands of bottles stocked here with people's IDs on them. Their cocktail list is very cool as well... a couple of hits were their Caramel Old Fashioned and their Perfect Storm. Watching the bartender make the Caramel Old Fashioned is a treat as well! They have a very nice menu and it's not "dive bar" type food either, the chef is a legit, French trained chef making amazing food. The items we tried we all very good. Crab cakes were outstanding and everything was made from fresh ingredients! Highly recommend stopping in to check them out!

The food, drinks, and staff here are solid. This last visit, my friend and I just ordered cocktails at the bar which were good. First of all the place is absolutely beautiful. The bar is spacious, attractive, comfortable. We actually sat at the bar. First of all, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess. In California sometimes that can be a little unfriendly. God, I love being in Baltimore. We started off with Sorbet and Prosecco cocktails, each one of the three of us. Wow. This is a fantabulous drink. Then we had an appetizer course of a gigantic cream cheese frosting covered cinnamon roll. Even better than it sounds. I had the avocado toast with fried egg, and I added a biscuit. My companions had the Bunnies Benny and the chicken and waffles. Wonderful. Can't say enough good things. Service was attentive and friendly. I also ordered a nonalcoholic Same Same But Different. This is the first place I've ever been to, that it only has but advertises non-alcoholic champagne. And so many choices for nonalcoholic cocktails. Thumbs up!

I originally came specifically for the Caviar + Wagyu Hot Dog, which sounded AMAZING. Unfortunately, I found out that it's only available on the happy hour menu, so I had to switch gears and order something else. I ended up going with the Half Chicken Meal, and honestly, I wasn't impressed. It wasn't terrible, but there was nothing about it that made me excited to take another bite. Just underwhelming. For my side, I ordered the collard greens, and those were another miss. They were way too vinegary for my taste. Now, the DRINKS?! That's a different story! I ordered the Good Morning Baltimore, and that was easily the best thing I had during the visit. If the food had been as good as the cocktail, we'd be having a completely different conversation. Overall, I left feeling a little disappointed, especially since I came in excited to try something specific. I'd consider coming back during happy hour to finally get that Caviar + Wagyu Hot Dog, but based on this visit, the drinks definitely outshined the food.

I loved the laid back retro-ish feel of Wet City. It reminds me of an everyday hang out, chill spot to grab a craft cocktail and a meal. Given the Evening Ritual event was sold out the bar and kitchen were pretty busy. So of course the wait to order at the bar took a bit of time as well as receiving food from the kitchen. Which was expected. Nonetheless every drink on the menu piqued my interested. I settled on two cocktails for the night and they were both delicious. Especially the gin and cucumber based cocktail. For food I decided on the Oklahoma burger. Which was 2 smash burgers, cheese, pickles, fried onions, and a fancy sauce. This burger was finger licking good. And I devoured the whole thing including the fries. Wet City has a nice menu selection and a vibe to match which are two things that will keep me coming back in the future.
