Food has been consistently good over many visits. They have tasty tortas, burritos and more, but I usually stick with their carnitas and Al pastor tacos. The rice and refried beans are also quite good so you won't go wrong if you order the combos. What we ended up getting was a street taco and the Janeth burrito. The sweet truck lady was generous about approving our attempt at pronuncing the unusual name (just like it looks) but we didn't ask for its origin. As soon as we got our food we went out of our minds with delight. The Janeth is Mexican sausage, beef, pork, avocado, rice and beans and so many fillings would usually seem like overkill to me but the flavors were so harmonious and together made one incredible mouthful after another. After we finished eating we were still oohing and ahhing about the flavors lingering in our mouths. Same went for the beef street taco which I knew would be good as soon as I discovered a carrot that was clearly pickled by hand. She calls it chop suey......I just call it incredible! Ok.....so you already know I'm a total fan of this place. I've had a couple distinct varieties of island BBQ......one kind is just about volume, and it can be pretty basic family food with some interesting tastes. The Queen is different.
