Little did I know, when I finally checked out their website, they have a TON of Philly cheesesteaks! I love a good Philly, so I knew I had to give it a try. Our service was pretty slow, but honestly, that's kind of on par with a bar, so I wasn't too surprised. Still, this could be worked on. We were on the patio and our server admitted he didn't know who was helping us. It turned out to be him - but after 15 minutes of waiting lol. The space is super cool and really unique. It has a fun atmosphere that makes it feel like more than just your typical neighborhood bar. The food was great! They have lots of different ways to build your own Philly, which I loved. There were also a bunch of different sauces to choose from, and I especially enjoyed getting to try those. The fries were thin, crispy, and came with a CRAP ton. They were really good and definitely not skimpy on the portion! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Flatiron Tavern. Definitely not just a bar with bar food like I originally thought. I'll be back for another Philly!

We came during a huge conference so the wait was probably longer than normal, although we were helped as soon as there was a free staff member. Our waitress, Salsabila, was outstanding. She was SO friendly, gave us recommendations on the menu without us having to ask, was super patient with us, noticed my boss had lost her voice and offered her a ginger ale ON HER! Because they didn't have hot water for her throat, she was so hospitable and brought a delicious house-made ginger ale! All their sodas are homemade. She also made sure to ask (before we even ordered) what our allergies were so she could note it and ensure the kitchen was careful. As a peanut-allergy girl, I appreciated this so much! When we were leaving, she offered to-go cups for our waters. She deserves a raise, she was phenomenal! The chocolate milkshake was top TIER. I don't know how else to explain, it was like how I imagine a milkshake in Heaven to taste like. Wasn't that cheap ice cream with chocolate syrup, you could taste the creaminess and flavor !!! Ah! So delish. The only thing I would improve is their onion rings. Everywhere seems to make them different, so im not sure if I got a bad batch, but mine were soft and not crunchy or crispy. Still delicious though! Tons or organic, vegan, and keto options! Gluten free options too. Their menu is labeled fabulously. I would love to come back here if I'm ever in downtown Columbus again :)

The falafel was fantastic, too! The staff was also so sweet, friendly, and accommodating, which made the experience even better. I opened the front door to a dark restaurant, no employees, no food, and set their alarm off. After driving 30 mins in an attempt to support a small, pop-up business, they don't even have the decency to honor their set hours. Apparently the kitchen closed, staff bounced, and they left without even turning off their Door Dash service. (A Door Dash driver arrived at the same time.) As a good citizen I called the non-emergency police to request to secure their building. Never got any call or email apology from ANYONE with Fried Chicka Bang. We had to appeal to Door Dash for a refund. Called to speak to a manager today and the person who answered said there "probably wasn't a manager there," put me on hold, then hung up the phone.

I love Ted's Montana Grill but don't know why this location delivery service via DoorDash is so bad. I placed an order and received a confirmation email for a chili and loaded baked potato. The email confirmation was at 6:28 PM on Sunday, Aug 23 with a delivery time estimate of 6:50-7:09pm. The location of the restaurant is half a mile away. DoorDash sent someone within 15 minutes to go pick the order up. When the delivery person got there, they waited 15 minutes and had to leave for another order, then another DoorDash delivery driver arrived waited 15 minutes and had to leave, then a third DoorDash delivery driver arrived and was told it was gonna be 20 minutes so they had to leave then a fourth Driver and then a fifth Driver. No joke. When the fifth Driver was there I personally called Ted's explaining the situation and to ask if there was an issue with my baked potato and chili. Whoever I spoke with didn't even know there had been 5 doordash drivers waiting for the order or that anybody was waiting for the order. Meanwhile, he goes back to check in the kitchen and it's sitting there waiting to be picked up in the window. I received my order at 8:02PM. The driver sent photos of the restaurant and kitchen staff to show it wasn't even busy - be aware. They may not be your best choice for dinner if you are on a timeline, however, the chili & baked potato was delicious especially since I was starving after waiting an extra hour.
