Upfront when purchasing they could not have been nicer, of course that is how sales have to be. When I signed the paperwork (and I take responsibility for this) they had slid in the extended warranty. I know. Know what you are signing. The vehicle was paid off 6 months later and at that time I attempted to cancel the extended warranty. Suddenly these super friendly people didn't want to talk to me. FINALLY I talked to someone in finance who said they would take care of it. Here I am a month later, no check even though I was told a check was cut and mailed. I'm trying to get the check info but again when I call I am put on permanent hold, sometimes hung up on or sent to a voice mail that seems to always be full and can take no more messages. I have received numerous Emails from them trying to get me in to purchase another vehicle but 0 Emails, texts or calls about my issue. "Bad Bad Experience July 2020!!!" The last suv I bought paid cash "Ford Edge" from Big M for my daughter as a gift July 2020 was in the shop 4 times less than 5 months and stopped working the 6th month! The GM would not even let me trade it for the price I paid or a 1/4 of the price. I ended up wasting $6500 but at least the GM nicely explained it's just the nature of car buying. Not the first time I've has a horrible experience. I dropped my truck off at 8am for a 11:00am service appointment. I understand I got multiple services done. I get an alert on my phone when my trucks wheels are taken off or oil low and multiple other things. I never got an alert. I got to the dealership at 1:30pm and my truck was not in the service area. I asked the young lady at the cou ter and she had to go find the mecha ic that was assigned to my truck, took about 5 minutes. Fi ally found him and she told me he had a few more things to. Mind you I still haven't got an alert on my phone. So I proceeded to wait in the waiting area for an hour and half. I asked for an update and got nothing. They asked if I needed a ride, I said no, my service was for 11am I should be done by now. I proceeded to wait another hour and again no update. 4:30 roles around and I'm getting frustrated. I talk to the manager of the salesmen and he said he would find out what's going on. I walked to get some food and I finally get a call saying my truck is ready. I walk back to the dealership and I'm told there is a few more things to do so I wait another 30ish minutes. I'm finally done and pay at around 5:30pm. When I walk out to my truck, it's parked way in the back of the dealership behind a bunch of cars! I don't expect much but what I do expect is timeliness, courtesy, and a little more respect. I'm not sure why I continue to frequent this dealership. I've had multiple bad experiences. And I honestly still don't believe the alignment and tire rotation were even completed. read more

Went to the dealership for a specific vehicle, the purchase process took almost 2 hours despite the fact that we didn't haggle the price, wanted to pay cash but they said we HAD to finance it or pay more since they get a kick back from the financing company, we have excellent credit, and no one else was at the dealership. We were left sitting the in the salesman's office with no updates on time. After we got the vehicle home we discovered it had been used as a loaner vehicle and no maintenance had been done for months - over 15,000 miles since the last oil change. We knew it needed tires but they wouldn't budge on the price for those so we had that out of pocket cost but then also discovered the air compressor didn't work (it was winter when we purchased it so this couldn't be tested), bad wheel bearings, and the paint started peeling in multiple places. Pretty much your definition of a lemon. I reached out the the GM about these concerns. He offered to look into making it right if I sent him our service bills. I sent them within 24 hours. 6 weeks later I follow up to be told he lost my email, and then when I resent it he said there was nothing he could do. I do NOT recommend doing business with this dealership. They do not care about your time in the purchase process and they sell lemons with zero concern. read more

If you're looking for a great experience, I would go elsewhere, I'll start with the staff. Salesman was chewing tobacco and spitting on the ground right in front of my wife, son and myself. We went inside and there was more of the same, other guys spitting in garbage cans around the showroom. Just not professional at all! When I picked up the truck, it wasn't cleaned like they said, gas light was on, oil change light was on, low tire pressure lights were all on. I would leave my vehicle with this shop. Keep it for 10 days. Has some kind of sting shop smell we cannot get out. Glove Compartment has a quarter inch gap when closed. Go somewhere else! This is the only Chevy dealership in town, but time and again they have insulted me and my husband with blatant lies. First, several months ago, a salesperson tried to over sell (by $15k!) a used truck to my husband. Not only did this person lie about the fact that they were trying to over sell, but, further, tried to convince us that this was the blue book price. Perhaps there are some people that would just take their word for it, but they, obviously, thought we weren't going to look up the information. How insulting! Second, I, subsequently, bought a new Chevy (from a different dealership). As this is the only game in town and my vehicle is under warranty, I began taking my car in for my free, warranty oil changes. The first time I brought the car in, I noticed that the mechanic had wrote the description wrong on the form. My car is blue, not black. Annoying, especially since it just took 45 minutes to change oil. Third, on another occasion, while getting my oil changed, I asked that they look at/fix a leaking tire. I specifically told the service clerk that I had re-filled this tire on multiple occasions over the last three weeks. She returned 45 minutes later to tell me that the mechanic said there is no leak. The tech had stated that the tire pressure is just fluctuating due to cold weather. (Fluctuating would presume that the pressure would go up and down. As described, the pressure only went down.) Regardless, they filled my tire and refused the idea that there was anything wrong. Apparently, new cars (2015) with new tires just randomly 'fluctuate' with pressure. This is just totally normal. I filled my tire 3 more times the following week, and took it to another shop who found a 2" nail! To recap, the sales department tried to cheat us and the service department is incompetent. There are plenty of upstanding, respectful Chevy dealerships in Louisville. Make the drive and save yourself the hassle. read more

Let me start by saying everyone I spoke with was very nice and greeted me with a smile; however, my experience left much to be desired and here is why. I found a vehicle I was interested in via the USAA car buying service at Big M. I e-mailed back and forth with one of their "BDC Representatives" whom was very slow in all of her responses. I had asked at 1pm Monday if 7pm would work for that night (I work 7am-5pm M-F and live over an hour away)and did not get a response until noon Tuesday reading "Were you able to make in in last night??". I told her I did not because I did not hear back from her and she responded asking me if I was available to come in that night. I said "Yes. 7pm ish depending on traffic. Coming from Indiana" at 2:32pm. I never received a response but decided this time to make the drive anyway. After going to the address in her E-mail signature (Radcliff) I was told that the vehicle was not at that location, and that it was actually 10 minutes further down the road(Elizabeth). Not a big deal. I get back in my car and keep driving. When I get there I see the vehicle I had just fought over an hour worth of traffic over in the parking lot and I get really excited. I walk in and ask if I can test drive it and one of the employees (manager I believe) said there was a deposit on it. I about lost my lid. About 20 seconds later he tells me he was wrong and there was no deposit, I get excited again. Then they tell me they can not find the keys. After watching them dig through drawers and go through the entire key cabinet I tell them I am going out to look at the vehicle and to meet me when they find the keys. About five minutes later a young sales man walks out to me and informs me that one of their sales ladies, who showed the vehicle earlier that day, took BOTH sets of the keys home with her "by accident" and that she lives 45 minutes away and can not bring them back. Excitement once again extinguished. He was a young man and may actually believe it was by accident but I look at results, not excuses, and believe she took the keys home to make sure that vehicle could not be sold by anyone else because she wanted to sell it to the person she showed it to earlier that day but he would not put a deposit on it. After leaving very disappointed I called and spoke with the manager about this and he denied that being a possibility. He also insinuated that this was my fault for missing a 3 o'clock appointment they had set for me, without my knowledge or consent. I asked if they could make this right by bringing the truck to the location in Louisville which is much closer to where I live but he told me he does not have enough personnel and there was nothing he could do. I told him I would have to leave an honest review about my experience and he said "Do what you have to do". No offer of reconciliation, no heart felt apology, no recuperation of my gas and time. I drove home feeling very cheated and wanted to make sure everyone reading all of these golden reviews knows their experience may not be nearly as good as these reviews would lead you to believe. I recently went in for the service department to have a load noise evaluated. I use them because I pay extra to them for their insurance to repair my car when needed. They blew me off and said it was my tires. I did need new tires so I replaced my tires. The same noise continued. Had to make another appointment. At this appointment they took my car apart had me wait for over an hour to then tell me they couldn't get the part. To make the experience even better they left a piece off my car. Didn't call me to let me know they forgot to put a piece back. When I took my car elsewhere to have my car fixed due to their poor service the other place let me know I was missing the piece. I had to call Big M in Radcliff and ask if they had my missing car part. I was told I would get a call back. After I waited over an hour for a call I had to call them back. They tried to tell me again that John would return my call at the end of the day. I had to tell them no go look now my car is waiting for the piece so it can be put back together! They thankfully had the piece but I received no apology and had to drive all the way back to Radcliff again to get my car piece. Do not use them for their service. Do not purchase their insurance for their service. If you have to use them stay away from John. He was who I unfortunately had to deal with throughout this experience. He has the worst customer service and does not value his clients. read more

The Big M dealership in Radcliff, Ky is the worst dealership I've ever worked with in my life. Every person that works there are very rude, when they realize they can't take advantage of you. When I walked into the lobby, I was not greeted at all. I stood there for 10 mins just to see if someone would come out there office, well 2 salespeople came out to the lobby and I still wasn't greeted. I had to walk into one of their offices just to get some help. This is not the first problem I've had with them. Ever since we purchased our car from them we've had nothing but issues and we even tried to trade in our car with them. Meaning we were still willing to do business with them. Well, long story short we went to the actual Chevrolet dealership in Elizabethtown and bought a nice SUV from them and they were really helpful, priced well and willing to negotiate. Tried to buy a used 2015 Ford Escape at Big M in Radcliff yesterday. I had made an appointment for 2:00 pm two days earlier. While making the appointment I asked if I could get a ball park figure for the two vehicles I was trading in. Shyan acknowledged my request and e-mailed that she needed the vin nos., mileage, and pictures in and out of both vehicles. These were e-mailed to her and I figured I would get an answer, didn't happen. I wanted the numbers for the cars before driving two cars twenty miles and then find out they didn't want to deal. My wife and I arrived ten minutes early. The lady (Tiffany) asked if she could help us. She went to find the keys for the Escape and minutes later came out and said the vehicle had been moved to the Kia dealership in E'town. So off we go to E'town. No reason given for why the car had been moved. Arrived at the Kia dealer and no one knew where the vehicle was. After twenty minutes the car was located in a service bay, no reason given for why it was there. By now I'm both suspicious and ticked off. We go back to Big M and there I get low balled for both my cars. I made a counter offer that was rejected as their first offer was it. After all the bs I'd had it, got up and left. This dealership should be avoided at all costs. read more
