Not a bunch of screaming kids like the other big store across the street. I was surprised last time when I supplied my own bags at checkout the checker scanned all of my items but I had to bag my own things. I'm not sure if that is the norm or if just the way she did things but that's something to be aware of because not everyone wants to bag their own items or can bag their own items. I will say that since their last major remodel I don't think they carry as many items or they may carry more brands but less of each item within that brand. The first time I noticed this was in the hair color aisle, they had several brands but the one I was looking at was missing the entire blonde selections. That was something they carried before the remodel. I will take that with a grain of salt though because there are supply issues still happening but I would think that they would have something after all this time. I highly suggest that everyone download the Target app because if you do want to take the time to add offers you can save quite a bit of money. I wish they would work like some supermarket royalty cards where each week the discounts were just loaded in automatically and if you bought that product you would get the cash back Instead of having to choose the offer and add it to your barcode before you buy. Sometimes scanning the barcodes of every item before you put them in the cart is just taking too much time and if you haven't planned ahead you may not have all of the discounts available loaded onto your app already but again if you can take a few minutes to load the offers in before or during your shopping it really adds up. Curbside pick up is also a plus and it seems to be very popular. Sometimes I think the people out there working are working harder than most of the inside employees. Maybe it just seems that way because I feel sorry for them being out there in this heat but they have always been very pleasant and efficient to work with and I do appreciate that they have this service available. I did rate four stars because of the availability of some of the things in the store not being what they should be and I have had a couple of times where produce such as the bagged salads weren't the freshest, but this will continue to be my favorite store of this type.

This Target has never had more than 2 checkers in my latest 3 visits in a year. They want to force customers to the automatic machines. Sorry guys, I will NEVER use those things until you start paying me employees wages. Their stock has changed and is below the grade it used to be. They have maybe 10 employees in the whole store. Target originally was a decent store for their product range. No more. Another store selling out to the billionaires I suppose.

There are certain things, however, that I will not compromise on - even to save a few bucks. Surprisingly, 99 Cents Only carries enough name brands to satisfy even me. On this particular visit, I found Kleenex brand tissues, Propel fitness water, Reynolds aluminum foil, flavored chapstick (2 sticks for .99), Duncan Hines brownies, and Crystal Geyser bubbling mineral water. My mom also found some great brand name buys! My favorite thing to buy at the 99 Cents Only Stores is toys for my prize box. Did I mention that I was a kindergarten teacher? I have bought all kinds of things for the prize box that my students go gaga for: rubber stamps, plastic firemen & policemen, rubber/plastic dinosaurs, snakes, bugs, and fish; real shells (particularly popular with the girls), little bottles of bubble stuff (originally packaged for weddings - 9 in a box for .99) and plastic hairclips and barrettes. They are all brightly colored, fun, and stand up to use by 5 year olds! AND it saves me a ton of money! (which I'll end up spending somewhere else, but that's another story altogether) Check out $.99 Only Store and see if you can't find something you need for less, so you can save your money for something special! P.S. I've even seen pregnancy tests in the checkout aisle, which brings several questions to mind. Number One - Is a pregnancy test REALLY an impulse item? Number Two - If one was TRULY in need of a pregnancy test, would you put your trust in the one from the 99 Cents Only Store? That's a topic for another reviewer to expound upon as I was rather definitely not in the market for one ;)

I was specifically hoping to find a suit set, and with Cassie's help, I found the perfect one. She was incredibly helpful and even assisted in picking out a tie to go with it, which made everything come together so nicely. I also checked out the men's shoes and found a great pair for only $59.97--such a good deal! The entire store was super clean, very organized, and the fitting rooms were spotless. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere--everyone working seemed genuinely happy. Associates were laughing and engaging with each other on the sales floor, and the store just had a really warm, welcoming, almost "homey" feel to it. When I went to check out, Kelsey was so sweet and pleasant. She even offered to put the suit in a garment bag, which I really appreciated--honestly, no other retail store has ever offered that kind of extra touch for a purchase like this. I absolutely love this store. For it being my first visit, it definitely made a lasting impression, and I will 100% be back!

I think some clothing items were made specifically for Nordstrom rack. I did find some Calvin Klien dress my size, but it was on clearance for $134. Yah, not in a hurry to buy that. Pretty design, but it seemed like it was made of foam, so it could hot to wear in the Spring/Summer. They also had ADDIDAS, but then you have to shop around to find a set because they have tops separate from the bottoms. Everything seemed to be on clearance, yet to me the price was still high. You have to dig to find a deal & something unique. The makeup was abundant. Brands like NYX, Clinique, Lancome. The travel size items were pricey. I can get a full regular size for the same price they are charging for a travel size. That dry shampoo you see in the pic, I ended up not getting it because they wanted $17 for that. No thank you. When you enter the store, you immediately see the designer handbags to your right. OMG, they have some cute items. I didn't come here for that, but they were sure cute to check and the pricing. Why did I stop by, well to browse for a dress. I'm still looking for that elusive dress to say, "This is it! This is what I've been looking for." I didn't find that here, but I did find some cute dresses to wear on my next outings. I'll make sure and update the review to show you what I got for $40. I found a cute nude colored sequence top, but the arms were too long. Whoever finds that tunic, it will be worth the price. I'll be back on an off day, but until then. See you some more on Yelp 2026
