Ad offered a $15 instant rebate for a minimum of $45 worth of P&G goods. Had ad to show girl at checkout and asked what I needed to do to claim the rebate. Was told it would automatically come off. When total was higher than expected, I asked her again if the $15 had been taken off. She looked at her side of the register and affirmed it had, so I ran my credit card through. However, before leaving the store, I scanned my receipt, saw that there was no indication of a discount, and went directly to the Customer Service desk. Individual working desk claimed same situation had occurred earlier in the week, but that he was unable to assist me. He wrote down the corporate number 216-265-7700, on my receipt and said they'd be able to straighten out the problem. Since the office was closed by the time I got home, I had to wait until this morning. My call was transferred to Linda who proceeded to explain that I had not added the $15 coupon to my account properly. Apparently using the Marc's app I have loaded on my phone doesn't do it. I needed to go to the Marc's website. She stated that the only coupon I've ever redeemed was for 50 cents back in April. Either that was yet another lie, or I've lost out on multiple "savings" coupons worth far more than this $15. She refused to help me fix the problem, mockingly stating I couldn't expect her to just send out a gift card. Linda is quite the gem at providing "customer service!" I calmly stated that that's exactly what I expected which was followed by her refusal to do so. I thanked her for her "help", apologized for the "inconvenience", and hung up so I could load the P&G items back into my car. Took the time to document my experience, hoping that the management of Marc's realize how poorly their disrespectful and rude customer service reflects on them and how it affects the individuals who shop with them. Kindness , respect, and helpfulness are qualities corporate levels should try inserting into their employee training. Grocery stores are numerous. After returning yesterday's purchases, I will no longer be making my weekly trips to Marc's.

The store itself is well set up, clean and well organized. Because of the location this store gets higher quality donations, and higher end items. The store has two colors each week, one color is half off, the other is 75% off. The store is organized with 2 levels of clothing, I have found a number of nice shirts and suit jackets here including a really cool Las Vegas themed jacket that was virtually new. I also find interesting art and decor pieces at this store. The back half of the store has the art, kitchen ware, electronics, toys, sporting goods and other assorted stuff. It is also well worth your time to check out the glass counters with the jewelry and the higher end items on the shelves behind them; this is where you can find some of the really premium finds. Looking at some of the other Yelp reviews it seems that since the VOA moved from down the road some people are disappointed since the current store is generally more expensive, but for me it seems that there is still really good value here, the question is whether you want to pay a bit more for better purchases. I really like this thrift store, one of the best looking, best organized stores with great values, you just might not find really cheap stuff.

The store was clean and bright. It was not crowded at all. There was a decent selection of most things. The produce section was the first thing I saw and I was surprised at how fresh food looked. The tea selection was pretty bad, but I did find one tea to try. The staff was helpful and kind and even suggested items that were on sale. If I ever find myself in the area, I will absolutely return.

There is an older store near me that just has the basic necessities like milk, bread, hot dogs, OJ, toothpaste etc. But on one trip I went to a new store it had a bakery, meat market, deli, and it was huge. The employee told me that they had run out of lamps so there weren't any for sale. He pointed at the area where the lamps normally would be located. He probably could have explained better when more lamps may return but at that point, it didn't matter because I needed to buy a lamp that day. Besides not finding a lamp, this store; however, is clean and ideal for those looking for reasonably priced furniture. I remember living in Columbus (Ohio) and actually purchasing a LoveSeat from Big Lots after someone had told me that they sell furniture. It was a beautiful (gray) and quality style loveseat which I had to sell when I moved to Cleveland in August of this year. So you can find a great couch/sofa here. Overall, the customer service at the furniture section could have been better here but I still ended up leaving with some great bakery items (organic Coconut Flour and Organic Cocount Sugar) and other snacks.

My doctor wrote a prescription…read morefor a 90 day supply of a medication and the pharmacy technician told me that my insurance did not cover the medication so I had to pay over $60 for it and then I found out that my insurance company actually does cover this prescription but only for a 30 day supply instead of 90 days and that it should've only cost me $10 so I ended up paying double the price and they "mistakenly" told me it just wasn't covered when it actually was. So I called the pharmacy to ask why I was told the wrong information and just trying to get some understanding and I was very nice about it but I just wanted to know what happened. The technician was so rude to me about it and said "well it wasn't me that did it" and I told her I understood that and I wasn't blaming her but she was acting like I was accusing her of the mistake and I wasn't but she just was so rude and not nice at all and she basically just hung up on me by rudely saying "I'll be back" and put me on hold without allowing me time to say anything and I eventually just hung up after being on hold. She was not interested in helping me or trying to figure out why I had to pay double for my prescription bc someone there didn't do their job correctly. The photo ladies who were working were highly unprofessional. I gave my name to pick up pictures and the one with short hair said there was no order there. I walked out to check my text messages and I had the order #. I went back inside and the other lady asked me for my phone number and as I was giving it to her the other lady that been there since 2005 and short hair said "I told her they was not an order" . I asked then why would I get an order number. They both said " I don't know" I just looked at both of them and said nevermind. So, as a customer service person on one of the busiest days before a major holiday should have used their skills and said no problem we can reprint the order. Nope they just stuck to we can't find it .. it's not here .. didn't even ask me for the order # when I said I have it here twice. I will be taking my photo printing business to the local Drug Mart where their employees are polite and the store is clean and there is ALWAYS a manager on the floor.
