Heidi's knowledge and expertise is simply invaluable! After the birth of my first daughter I experienced some postpartum depression. I decided that placenta encapsulation was a must with my second child after hearing so many positive stories from friends. Heidi explain to me all the wonderful benefits of having your placenta encapsulated including helping with postpartum. Heidi picked up my placenta within 24 hours of birth in Walnut Creek and I had my pills within a couple days. After taking placenta pills for almost a month now, I definitely see the benefits! I usually take one a day in the morning to start my day off right. If I'm feeling a little sluggish from a rough night with the baby, I'll take two in the morning. My energy level and hormone balance seems to be more on point after taking my placenta pills. Heidi is absolutely fantastic. There is no other way to say it. We had a really hard time with our daughter due to reflux, a tongue tie and severe sleep issues. For the first 5 months of life she only slept on me or in a carrier also on me. My daughter woke up constantly at night and it was so difficult. Heidi helped us find an approach that was right for us. I could never do cry it out which is why I avoided sleep training for so long. Then Heidi told me that I didn't have to! I could still breast feed snuggle and still develop healthy independent sleep habits. She helped us every step of the way and beyond. My husband and I get time together every night and I even workout during naps now because I'm so rested. We even took a vacation recently to see my parents and she's so used to her routine we recreated it and she adjusted beautifully. Not without small bumps but clearly a child who feels safe and secure in her sleep routine. Knows we will be there if she needs it but we will gently help her find her way back to her own rhythm too. After six weeks of getting no more than 2-hour stretches of sleep, I couldn't continue the path we were on. My son was 15 months old and not even CLOSE to sleeping through the night. I am so glad that we found Heidi and made the decision to work with her as our sleep coach/consultant for our 2nd daughter when she seemingly "overnight" became a really poor sleeper around 5-6 months old.
