Great service team, comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and a fine selection. I bought two rib dinners, sides included mac-n-cheese, baked beans, and green beans. The sides were all delicious and filled with flavor. The ribs were good flavor wise, but mine were a tad chewy and didn't fall off the bone like my son's did. He raved about the taste!! I also purchased the whole wing special listed on the specials menu. Six whole wings for just $8. Very good and I'm sure will delight when reheated in our air fryer at home. Big EU'es BBQ is hands-down, my favorite barbecue place I have ever eaten... And that really says a lot! My husband picked it up for us one evening, on a whim; it had been recommended to him by a friend at work. City barbecue was our normal barbecue takeout preference, (nothing against city barbecue!) but we will probably never return. Big EU'es barbecue is superior in every way. We have tried: Pulled pork: It was excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned, very little fat. Ribs (my Favorite!) they are so juicy and Perfectly Smoked! The flavor is truly delicious and putting any sauce on them seems a disgrace! Brisket (very close second favorite!) I have never had smoked brisket taste so good! It is normally well cooked (last time it was just a bit overcooked) but generally is it well prepared and absolutely delicious. We have also tried the following sides (that are Great portion sizes btw!): Green beans: cooked but still have a crunch, prepared with onions and a little pork. Good flavor. Potato Salad: 2 of my daughters' favorite. They are very flavorful and not overly creamy. Mac & cheese: definitely a homemade recipe, my daughters loved it (I am not a mac & cheese fan in general). Candied carrots: these were my favorite! They are definitely sweet, syrupy and the texture was more firm, not mushy. They were delicious! Collard greens: absolutely delicious! They taste like southern, flavorful collard greens. I would definitely recommend trying them. Coleslaw: delicious, creamy (not overly). Perfect paired with the pulled pork or absolutely delicious on its own! Each meal also comes with either cornbread or rolls, one daughter loves the rolls the other loves the cornbread! And a drink. There are many different barbecue sauce options, my husband loves the hot bbq- tastes like barbecue sauce with some Frank's red hot.; I've never had this combination, but it is intriguing and good. There is an Asian barbecue sauce that is delicious! Very unique. The house barbecue sauce is also delicious! On top of all of this, the prices and portions are great!! Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food here is one of the beat bbq I've had in the area! This was my first time at Big Eu'es but it certainly won't be my last! I had the ribs, burnt ends, yams and mozzarella sticks. I feel like each of these dishes deserve their own recognition because it was all individually amazing. First off, the ribs! Smokey and juicy with a delicious sweet house sauce that I really enjoyed. I got my sauce on the side and was happy for that bc that smoke flavor really shines. The burnt ends were also great, the sauce seemed a little richer with them but I think it was just the meat itself, fantastic. The mozzarella sticks were perfect and the sauce tasted almost like they smoked their own tomatoes and made the sauce in house. I could be wrong but that's the best marinara I've ever had! Yams, also sweet and balanced. Loved them! Portions were huge also!! The only complaint I have is so minor it is barely worth mentioning but if you like your Kool aid at any level other than diabetes sweet I'd grab a different drink I'll definitely be back!! read more

Everything was great, Pulled Pork, Mac n' Cheese, Sausage & Peppers, Baked Beans were all big hits but the Greens were the star. Tony and I enjoyed late lunch, early dinner at Big Euie's in Cuyahoga Falls, OH on Frontage Street on Saturday June 22, 2019 after long morning and afternoon of hiking. Tony and I shared a Meat Trio Platter of pork, brisket and sliced Roast Beef. Along with 3 sides of Mac n' Cheese, Collard Greens and Baked Beans with sweet corn bread. Tony drank a can of Root Beer and I had a glass of Pineapple Kool-aid. There was two Kool-aid flavors to choose from : pineapple and orange...OMG it was so sweet. The corn bread muffins were very sweet too, which tasted good with the hot spicy BBQ Sauce. My favorite was the Brisket and the Collard Greens. I paid $20.23 for the ticket includes the taxes, the tip made the total $25. Good food and Good service and a Great Price. read more

I love Big Eu'es! Good bbq is so hard to find these days. Not like in the 70's and 80's in Cleveland when there were many amazing places to find it. My husband and I go here all the time. Great prices and friendly ppl . And the portions are HUGE! I always get the 5 rib dinner with potato salad and collards. They almost always give me more than 5 ribs! The ribs are meaty and delicious and not overly smoked . I don't like heavy smoke. They are just right and the meat comes right off the bone! Sauce is delicious as well. My husband always gets the fried chicken wing dinner with Cajun dry rub and OMG they are definitely delicious! Fried perfectly! He also gets the Mac with potato salad. You get your choice of can of pop with your order. The inside of the restaurant is always so clean and that's so important for me even tho I've never eaten inside. And the decor shows the history of the place. I just love it. And I also love how this is an amazing thriving black owned business in an area where you just don't see that. Great bbq, the sauce is really good, I recommend the hot bbq. However I will say that the sauce just adds to the flavor, I got the brisket dinner and my friend got the bbq pulled pork. Both had really good flavor and like I said the sauce just enhanced it. We got our food to go at the counter and then took it back to the apartment. I would eat here but that day we just took it to go. The sides we had were mac and cheese, collard greens, green beans, and fries. I've been told their fried corn is to die for but unfortunately they were out this day. Which will just give me a reason to go back. read more

The location seems to be out the way. My sister lives around the corner, tried it out and recommended it. I've passed this place a few times and never peaked my interest. But today I planned it to be dinner. We got the wings, ribs, brisket and burnt ends with fried corn, Mac and cheese and greens with fresh lemonade. All for $35 bucks. That isn't a bad price at all. The ribs were meaty and the brisket and burnt end portions were pretty big as well. Their homemade sauce was good but a little thin for my personal taste. Would have liked for the brisket to have been more tender. But after warming it up the next day that did the trick. The service was okay. The music was very loud although enjoyable, made it hard to hear. When the food was done everyone just kind of stared at me. I had to ask a few times was this everything? Wow! This place is so wonderful. TLDR; they're just doing takeout right now due to covid-19 - service is great, people are nice, prices are VERY low for HIGH quality food. Highly recommend the fried chicken dinner (2 chicken breasts) +2 sides ($12), huge, moist pulled pork sandwich +1 side($5), and definitely give the kool aid pie a chance. Kicking myself that I hadn't heard of this business before. They have a lot of sandwich options that are reasonably priced, included pulled pork, chicken, etc. They also have a ton of dinner combo options. The prices are incredibly low for how high quality the food is. I don't think you can really go wrong with a choice here. I also really enjoyed the hot BBQ sauce, but they have a ton of other sauce choices. This place truly feels like you are getting a home cooked meal from a high quality chef. Their online ordering system is SUPER easy and you can pay contactless online. You can request a time later in the day if you don't want it right now, or order it ASAP and it'll take like 30 minutes. Their menu/website is very easy to navigate as well. Pickup is a breeze. Also, listened to one of the reviews about the kool aid pie and wasn't disappointed. Definitely give it a try - 1 slice is $1.50. We got lime and it was sweet, but brought back some childhood memories. Went there tonight for first time. Omg! It was sooo good. Got the dinner of 4 rib bones that were huge and the wings. Everything was delicious. The ribs were smoky tasting and the sweet rib sauce was not too sweet and definitely homemade. So so good. The wings were crispy and the mild wing sauce had a good vinegar kick to it. Also had the mac and cheese and it was perfect. Hard to find it properly made with the stringy cheese and not overcooked macaroni. They nailed it!! The pigeon peas and rice was very very good. The green beans my friend got were fresh beans not canned and the collard greens were very good. They were too salty but with a lighter hand on the salt they would be delicious and perfect. Ooooooooo. How I want to love this place. I do. Just have some constructive criticism. If you know anything about me, I used to have a cafe/bakery. I'm not a trained chef, but I know how to cook a lil somethin - somethin. Do you want an honest review??? I got the pulled pork dinner with greens and green beans. No sauce because I'm getting back on my #keto. But I did try it. Sauce was good. If I had any suggestions..... I would say ---- SEASONING. Season your pork butt and let it sit overnite. Save the juices and heat it up with that. (Layering flavors) Seasoning is your friend and makes a great marriage when put together with a good foundation. I tasted vinegar in the meat without the sauce. So idk if they brine it?? To me, it was a tad dry. And the meat itself wasn't seasoned a lot. Don't rely on your sauce to make the meat. Make the meat the winner and the sauce will just be an added bonus!!!!!! My best friend declares I'm part black (I'm adopted, so it's an on going joke)..... but she says I cook greens/soul food even better than her. (Neckbones or fried chicken livers anyone????). LOL Again. Greens---Seasoning. I didn't taste a lot of pork flavor. I didn't taste a lot of seasoning period. They were cooked well and I know what it takes to make collards. It's a lot of work. There wasn't a presence of oil that you get when you cook greens with a lot of fatback or hambones, or what ever kind of smoked meat you choose. Beans--- salt and Fatback would do wonders. I would bake the cornbread about 2 mins less if I were you. They were cakey. But it had good flavor. Just a tad dry. You guys really do have a good thing going. I'm just a total food snob. I applaud you in your success. It all comes down to personal preference. I like seasoned food. Some ppl don't. Obviously you're doing something right. But they serve good food. Very clean. This is a great addition to Cuyahoga Falls. The service has always been friendly and the food is well priced and great. The first time or two I went, I ordered for the family. I got pulled pork, corn bread, and mac and cheese. The pulled pork came with buns so you could make your own sandwich at home. I didn't love their sauce. It wasn't bold enough for us so we used some of our favorite sauce from Texas. The corn bread was good as was the mac and cheese. It didn't seem that I could place the same order at a later visit as the one I got before was a game-day special. That was a bummer, because I'd rather order larger dishes than individual ones. I called recently to see if they were running any family specials and was told they weren't. I then asked if they were running any specials and the girl that answered didn't offer anything that would entice me to go. Even though that was disappointing, it doesn't change my five-star review because I want people to come here and keep this place thriving! One time I realized they didn't give us buns and I called them when I got home. What did they do about it? They drove them to my home!!! I think they expanded and now offer seating vs carry out only. This place was amazing. I used to be vegetarian but lately have been eating more meat. A problem I have with meat is how a lot of it tastes bad. Too soggy, oily, uncooked, chemicals, etc. But this place was actually amazing. I got the ribs which came with a side and cornbread. Even the cornbread was good. Side was amazing. Ill give it 2 stars because this was my first time there and maybe it was an off day. First, idk if these reviews are paid or if yall have no idea what spices taste like because this was the dryest, most flavorless bbq ive ever had! They didnt even have brisket so i got the pulled pork, and you literally need it bathed in sauce to make it taste like anything other than desert sand. The greens...i need to know who made that mess! There was no hint of vinegar, hardly any of the porky goodness necessary for a quality green, and there was no kick either! It tasted like someone added a pinch of salt and a couple ham pieces to a vat of just greens n water.
