Service is extremely slow and they are way understaffed. There was the lone unpleasant old man who was very slow in taking the orders. Probably hard of hearing too. I asked for Onion Rings which was on their menu and he retorted that they don't serve Onion Drinks. When I pointed the item on the menu he yelled out "You want Onion REEEEEEEENGS!" Water was never offered. I have never seen that happen in the USA in any sit-down restaurant before. We just had to wait to finish eating and leave and drink water from the bottles in our car. Omelettes and eggs tasted very ordinary. Belgian waffle was expected to be crunchy but it came soft and soggy. Seriously how difficult is it to make a waffle? The batter comes out of a box and you just throw it in the waffle maker. How can they make a mess out of that? There were only a total of 4 other people in the restaurant and our (simple) order took about 45 minutes to arrive. We felt very unwelcome with the whole experience.

There is a Maple syrup room you can see into and all kinds of wooden carved bears everywhere you look. The service is good and the food is fine. They serve carved turkey dinners all year round so if you get a craving that's a great option. They also serve the Impossible Burger for the vegetarian members of the group. The gift shop is loaded with their homemade Maple treats including syrup of course. There is also a large playground area for the kids to get some of their energy out on. So if you're looking for a fun day trip Sprague's Maple Farm is a good choice.
