Where do I start, the factory tires on my car have a short sidewall. If I go through the wash with the tire shine on, the rollers allows the tire shine to get all over the wheels. If I have them turn off the tire shine, it turns the brushes that cleans the rims off or it doesn't work causes my rims were still dirty. I ask the manager on duty about it, she told me the tire shine brush also cleans the rims. Right then and there I canceled my monthly pass. Obviously, she doesn't know how the tire shine roller brushes work. read more

I've been going here for over a year now and I really love this place because it is conveniently located near my residence. They have very affordable membership packages. They also made recent upgrades but I honestly can't tell the difference because the quality of service has always been great. The employees are always polite and helpful...until the other today. I maintain this is a 5 star car wash; however, I encountered an employee the other day who probably should not be on the line working. As everyone knows, when you go through drive-thru car washes you have to align your wheels on the track. 99% of time, you don't need much guidance but then there's the 1% chance that you're having an off day. lol. Either way, the staff is always so professional and helpful with this process. This particular day, an employee-young lady with pink hair-almost gave me a panic because she was doing way too much and overreacting. If the car isn't aligning just learn how to give nonverbal and verbal directions without all the yelling and unprofessional gestures. She was yelling as if someone's property or life was in danger. I had to look around to make sure I wasn't underestimating the situation. Nope, she was just being EXTRA and RUDE. I'm not sure if she's new, was coming down off a high or just an easily annoyed person who hates her job but if she ever reacts that way to the wrong person, God have mercy on her. Her actions were over the top and she may need some more training. Be careful who you hire because they can make your business look bad. I hope she's never on the line again because I will most definitely tell her about herself if she ever acts that way again. Leave the yelling and trashy behavior at home!!!! read more

This is a great car wash!!! Probably the best in South Fulton. The service is always consistent and unlike most places that hire young people these employees work and aren't just on their phones. They are rarely down for maintenance (like some other places) and the vacuums actually have power when you use them to clean your car. Nothing worst than trying to get dirt up with a weak vacuum. They have complimentary towels and window cleaner and it is just a great experience when you want to get your car clean. CAR WAS DAMAGED. 0 STARS. AVOID THIS PLACE! When I came out of the car wash to the vacuum area I noticed the passenger mirror was pushed in and off its track (folded in and up). If this had not happened I never would have looked any closer. However, upon closer look, the mirror housing was scratched and had a paint smudge. The right front bumper had a smudge and the fog light housing had the paint taken off of it. I let an employee know that it was possible that the carwash had damaged my car. He went and got a young lady who took a look. She said she would check the cameras and get back to me. She came back with zoomed in pictures of my car stating the damage was already there. It was not possible to tell where the car was when the picture was taken because it was so zoomed in. I asked if I could see a wider picture for perspective, then zoom in to the damage. That is all I needed. If they could have provided that, I would have thanked them and walked away. Instead, they said their camera system doesn't work that way. Nonsense...and they know it. She called Patrick (who called himself the "managing partner") and he accused me of trying to "get over" by bringing my damaged car in and claiming they did it. I work minutes from here so it was very convenient to get a quick wash in during my lunch break. Never again, and I'll be letting the 400+ people that also work here to take their business elsewhere. read more

YES, SIGNS ARE POSTED AND BIG DAN HAS EVERY LEGAL ADVANTAGE OVER US BECAUSE OF THAT, A FACT ABOUT WHICH MR. SERIO, OPERATING PARTNER, IS APPARENTLY PROUD! He never even said good morning upon his arrival, but went straight to court, telling me I could get a lawyer all I wanted... So, today is Friday, July 21st. I have attempted to correct errors in the original communication that follows. It was sent to the Contact Us link at Big Dan's Car Wash's website on the day the incident occurred, Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Begin Communication We have used Big Dan's numerous times in the past, even in the 2017 VW Golf we were in today, without concern of car damage. Unfortunately the carwash ripped off the cover of our driver side rear view mirror. We went through the wash between 9:57 and 10:05 am today. As we cleared the blue vertical, spinning thingy, I looked up to see the mirror being overextended and the cover falling away into the "brush". We immediately looked for help to address the matter. I'm sure the company knows the exact treatment we received and the redirection about your signage, notwithstanding that Assistant Manager Michelle was professional and kind in speaking with me. Operating Partner Patrick Serio, not so much. We had hoped to have assistance putting the cover back onto the mirror and having someone to buff out the now-scratched top of the cover. Mr. Serio was dismissive, hostile, and immediately presumed that we wanted to litigate. I quoted him on the incident report Ms. Michell took. We were on our way to our insurance agent's in Tyrone for a prescheduled appointment about an entirely different matter, but went immediately from there at about 11:45 am to our preferred service location, Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta in Union City to see about the car part. I am writing to ask the company to please consider doing the right thing by covering half the expense of the cost to repair the part. The part is ordered and costs $240.79. The labor estimate to paint the part and install it is $130.00. We have learned our lesson and will only use no-touch services moving forward. We hope that company reps will see our petition favorably and grant the request. End Communication (with corrections) The moral of the story...a $17 car wash became a near $500 repair AND, adding salt, pi$$, and vinegar to property injury, THE CAR WAS LESS THAN CLEAN AFTER THE WASH and Operating Partner Mr. Serio essentially said our concerns didn't matter, so lawyer up! Neighbors, there you have it. Yes, we are responsible for not having duly weighed the risks to our car in entering Big Dan's, but YOU don't have to suffer loss. I was told by supervisor during Christmas that they had a special for 15.00 indefinitely, I asked several times if that was real, he indicated yes before I signed up. Once I signed up after December they charged my charged my account 19.99 a month. When I called to ask for an explanation the supervisor James told me that was the special for that month even though that was not what was explained to me. He proceeded to ask me who the person was and asked when I signed up. He then says that he is no longer with them. Is that my fault? I've been a long-time membership customer since the carwash opened under the previous owners. When it changed to Big Dan's, I remained despite the price increase and not much else increasing alongside the quality of service or care to the vehicles. I've watched the ongoing turnover of staff and still remained. However, after this last incident upon completion of my monthly membership, I will be canceling. I am highly disappointed in how my recent situation has been handled. Having been told one thing and now hearing another almost appears as though my situation will possibly go unresolved which does not sit well with me. During a recent visit on 10/13/22 my vehicle entered the tunnel and at some point, something occurred causing the vehicle in front of me to stop. My vehicle hit the vehicle in front because there is evidently no system in place that automatically stops the vehicles if they come in close proximity to one another. I was initially informed that Big Dan's Carwash would cover the damages and I was responsible for obtaining two estimates from the collision shops. I provided the estimates on 10/14/22 to Patrick who I believe is the store manager. Patrick informed me that the district manager was made aware of the incident on 10/14/22 during the managers' meeting held and stated that he would follow up with the estimates with the District Manager, Norris Allan on Monday, October 17, 2022. I followed up with voicemails and emails and finally received an email back on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. The update now indicated that they were trying to get in contact with the other driver as they were now placing fault on him. The issues I have with this matter are if that were the case why was information not obtained the day of the incident as his vehicle was clearly in front of me and exited the tunnel before mine and was initially still on the scene. Furthermore, when I initially asked for the other driver's information (e.g. name, license plate etc). I was informed that again the car wash would be paying for the damages. I am highly disappointed in the inconsistencies that have occurred in the handling of my situation and the manager's failure to provide me with the requested information in order to pursue the other vehicle to cover the damages. To have to now go through my insurance is unfair and unjust. As a business, I am sure there is insurance that they have to cover situations like this that occur on their property and within the actual car wash tunnel. I would hope that Big Dan's would show a level of integrity and make this right. read more

One question to one, very pleasant, responsive, customer-focused team member changed it all. Rayven Jackson was immediately responsive and totally respectful; her assistance changed my experience to mirror all of my prior, pleasant experiences. Cedric Holder is a great employee, I have just had knee surgery and was unable to do a lot of things with my car besides drive it through the car wash. This young man assistant in any way possible running my mats helping me dry my car off & getting anything that I needed to make sure I was comfortable until the job was completed. I used this place when it was wash me fast! I was one of the first to start using it. When it switched to big Dans that's when I had trouble. I had a monthly membership. When I would cancel they would still charge my card. When I went through the car wash on of the days their machine broke a piece off my car. I called a left messages stating that what happened and could someone please call me back. All I wanted was the piece that had been broken off back. No one ever answered the phone nor did anyone call me back for anything. Horrible customer service. I'm very loyal to any place that values me as a customer. This place does not!!! I'll give this place a three because it's a decent place but it's not anything to write home about. For example, I've been going there for about a year and the machines are starting to ruin my paint. I have been noticing blemishes and things of that nature. For a quick and fast "get it over with" wash it's great. For a every week thing or a this is my main car wash thing this is not really the best place. But the vacuums always work and they give complementary car scents and interior wipes. Very clean not a bad spot at all if the actual machine cleaned better I'd give it a 5 ! read more
