I still like coming here but at some point mid 2024 they discontinued full service. Apparently the industry is all moving away from that I was told. They now provide all the rags, sprays, and vacuums free of charge to use yourself after your wash. This does create a better value actually but the work they did was way better but it was expensive. read more

The car wash itself is great and I appreciate the 2 young man wiping it dry after , but the rags I used after were horrible . My car is brand new and the rags left an icky film on my mirrors ,windows and info center . After work today I dropped a cool 25 bucks on an ultimate carwash like I do weekly. As I go thru the wash I notice the brushes that was the side of the car are not working. I drove away due to time constraints and called this location to inquire why the wash I paid for was undelivered and was told the brushes weren't working, and when I asked why they were continuing to charge full price was told I could go through again which I declined because it still would not be the service I paid for... .I will choose another carwash out of the many in Newnan and take my years of business elsewhere. read more

Amazing car wash! They hose your car off really well before going through the actual wash... there are two different cleaners that actually clean your car very well and the vacuums are super strong! READ BEFORE PAYING: (Less Than 1 Star) I'm not sure why I went to Newnan for a car wash. Maybe it was the fact that these 5 star reviews sounded great. However, now I'm realizing I should have paid more attention to the 1 star reviews and assumed the 5's were mostly friends and family. When I leave a car wash I expect my car to be clean, vacuumed extremely well and the outside, especially the rims to be shiny. I already knew they weren't going to shampoo because I asked about what full service includes. Even though that seems ridiculous that a car wash doesn't shampoo for their full service, I continued to pay for what I expected to be at least mediocre. Basically I came to find out that their "full service" may include vacuuming but doesn't include actually picking up any of the floor mats, going between seats or even opening my hatchback at all. Of course that didn't stop them from opening my console to take the only $10 I had in cash that was going to be their tip assuming they did a halfway decent job. But now they just did a terrible job and still got their tip. My cup holders had sticky liquid in them from a drink I had spilt earlier that week and I specifically pointed that out hoping they would clean them really well. I swear it's as if they are more sticky now. I had decided to let all of this go and just forget about the $35 and decide to never, ever return to this car wash again. That was until I realized I was missing $10. I went in calmly and asked to speak to someone that could help with my issue. After explaining myself and being told I was just trying to get free money, I almost lost it. But I remained calm and continued to explain that the $10 was going to be a tip. I was then told that I needed to leave, no one stole my money and "if" they did then there's no way to prove it and at least they got their tip. That's when I decided to put my all into this review. I know it was long, I hope you stuck by till the end and if you're trusting the 5 stars on these reviews like I did, then proceed with caution. My husband and I have been coming here for 3 years so this review is way overdue! I love this car wash. We usually opt for the full service if we visit Weds-Sunday. The staff is always very nice and they do a good job cleaning. I'm not sure of her name but a young girl with long dark hair always does an amazing job and makes sure she gets every spot. We love the free vacuums if we don't opt for full service. I have noticed in the past that people will take advantage and just pull in for the free vacuums without purchasing a wash- hopefully they will find a way to stop this. I was referred to a similar interior/exterior car wash about 2.8 miles away. Unfortunately, it was closed due to a remodel. I had a sitter, emptied out car and $40 so I used YELP to find another nearby. HUGE mistake, BIG mistake, this experience was so bad I truly thought it must be a a joke or candid camera. My entire time I kept thinking hahaha, it has to be a joke! NOPE I lost my $40, 40 minutes of my life I will never get back and a few fingernails. Plus, I now need it redone and a manicure I had not planned on. So many previous reviews were old so I thought surely its going to be a car wash. It was so bad!! No words could truly describe this experience but I am going to try... I called to make sure they were open. Not a friendly convo but not unfriendly, I just assumed whoever answered the phone was very laid back or not busy at all, definitely preoccupied. I showed up at 4:50pm and left at 5:30pm. I drove in and you pay for what services you want automation, a gate arm opens and you drive around to be met by an attendant (I hope he was not the manager). He does some spray or something BUT only on the right side of the car and sends you through. I try asking questions but he is not interested and states to go left and another left for the interior to be done and he does not want me to run into the back of the car in front of me. These directions were correct EXCEPT out of 6 people, my car was still dirty outside and inside when they finished. I asked about a few spots I noticed right away (please give the blonde girl a raise and a customer service position, she tried) but ALL six people had moved on to the ONE & ONLY other car there for service. They ignored me, completely ignored me on my issues with my car. I asked for a rag to wipe the outside off. A guy in flip flops handed me a clean blue rag and walked off. 5 minutes into wiping my car down I was told to move, the car behind me was finished and needed to leave. I was moved to a spot to do it myself in the self service area. I PAID $40 for their service. Many problems at this place....BIG PROBLEMS and EVEN BIGGER RIPOFF!!!! Employees wearing flip flips, 2 to be exact, WOW! I can't help to wonder who covers this place on worker's comp?!?! Not all of the employees were wearing Riptide clothing or even an accessory with the name such as a hat. I am assuming they were all employees but could be friends hanging out with friends. I do not recall seeing anyone who resembled an adult or acting like they were one in charge. It looked like an after school hangout by the employees and their behavior. You would not know this before making choices and payment. When I asked questions, I got looked at like I was from another planet not a state nearby. Employees had drinks in the very tiny lobby with lids off and scattered on the counter. I'd recommend staying outside, the tables there are nicer. Actually, I'd recommend doing yourself or going elsewhere. I don't believe they plan on you staying anytime at all by the way they did not complete my car or maybe because they only plan on you standing there for at most 5 minutes. 6 people acted like they did my car. A few employees would gather around the desk in the small uninviting lobby to be on their phones BUT they also stood around outside doing the same. The lobby was cooler than outside. So in total I saw 7 employees and with my car ONLY 3 of us were getting the interior done. With my car only 4 cars came in 40 minutes. So basically I wiped the outside off and it still needs it. 1/2 of the inside was vacuumed and NO they do not do cup holders or vacuum on the sides of seats or even close to under. NOT SURE what they used on the dash but it is STICKY and I am still trying to get it off. NO tire shine at all but one side does look cleaner than the other. One more concern! Save the fish, someone save the fish. Will come back and take the fish. I heard it was yours and you left it. I was also told he ate all his friends so he may be hungry. The tank is so disgusting!! Please save the fish! And use another car wash. This is an experience I am still in WHOA about. You cannot make these situations up. I've given this place so many chances in hopes that it would improve. Alas, it has only remained the same mediocre "full" service car wash in Newnan. The sad thing being is that this place has so much potential but they fall short in the "full" service arena. If you are do it your selfer than this place is probably 4 stars. If you like to pamper your vehicles like I do than this place is at best 1 star. The average wait time when you pay full price $35 for a "full" service car wash is about an hour. Mind you there is no waxing or shampooing going on. This is a simple wipe down, vacuum it out, dust the interior type of service. I don't understand what take this place so long? It's certainly not the perfectionism. The kids that are running this place have no idea of what customer service means and it shows. If you come for just a car wash and are willing to do all the work yourself than this place is above average. I hope that management sees this and puts some effort into making this place the great car wash that it could be. Riptide ripped my passenger side mirror out of the socket and destroyed it causing a $55 dollar repair to my VW Touareg on 21 Feb with the basic wash. While my wife had her computer flooded out on her 325I with the excessive force of underneath spray. They don't give you the warnings till after you pay.. read more

They acknowledge they had an operator/equipment failure, yet... This applies to Newan location, not Peachtree City. Having stopped going to the Newnan location due to scratching my trunk lid with the black bristle brush at the entrance being used on a muddy 4x4 in front of me, I quit going there and went to PTC instead. Much better. Trying to save time, I stopped in the Newnan location 1/16/2019, big mistake. Failure of programming, either on part of person loading me in, or computer, doesn't matter to me. There was zero liquid being used. no soap, no water, just brushes, and wipers on my dirty, which they acknowledged, but dry $70k car. I laid on the horn, they stopped me 1/2 way thru, then started back up to finish, again with no liquids. Tons of Fine scratches all over, as to be expected. Manager said he'd accept no responsibility, he had people like me to deal with all the time. Also said there was plenty of liquid on the fast spinning brushes. A local buffing would have turned this into a good review, but this was their customer service they offered. Stay away, use PTC, the one at Sam's club, and maybe the Mr Clean one coming to Sharpsburg. Last time I go against my better judgement and use Newnan RipTide. read more

I went through this car wash last week and it scratched one of my rims. I never saw any signs that said anything about a damage waiver. The owner originally told me that he would work out something to keep my business and keep me and my family as customers. Now after asking me to come by and see him, he dodged me in person and is dodging my calls. do not go here at all. I never asked for any kind of reimbursement, just wanted the owner to see that his car wash does do damage. This guy and his employee basically called me a liar and said there was no way that it happened here. obviously he thinks he knows my vehicle better than I do. My car has a roof rack. My wife asked if it was ok to go in. The employee said yes. We went through and the rack destroyed my car. I spoke with the rude owner. He told me in person that even though the signs say no roof racks that he was going to make it right. Well he lied to my face. He now will not help me with anything and told me to take him to court. His employees are trying to save their own butt by stating that they told my wife she was not allowed to go through. So now my wife is a liar in their eyes. What business owner would tell you that the only way to get his insurance company to pay is take him to small claims court? I love this place. My car looks great. I got the Best Wash, and it was able to get all the dead bugs off that I had on my car from a trip to South Georgia. Their vacuums are awesome. I would much rather come here then try to use my vacuum at home. The only thing is I wish they had something to wipe down the interior of my car. The staff is very friendly, too. read more

I have been pleased most of the time I have gone here. The few times I wasn't was just lackadaisical employees that didn't take as much pride in their work as much as I would have preferred, but I understand you can't always have 100%. Make sure remove your antenna if you need to before going in. I forgot on my old jeep one day and bent it up enough to effect my radio signal. I'm not blaming the car wash. It was my fault for not removing it before going through the wash. read more
