I even paid off one limo as my deposit to secure my reservation. I recently called 3 weeks ago as I had not heard anything from this vendor and wanted to pay off the other limo since some time had passed since the deposit. I talked to at least 3 different employees all of whom said would have to call me back and also stating they did not have the second limo and would have to contact ANOTHER limo company to get the limo I had already reserved back in July. I even had one employee try talking me into 2 smaller SUVs and a car when I had stated I want my bridal party to be together. Never ONCE did I receive a phone call back and the miscommunication between the employees was truly unprofessional. I finally booked with another limo service and asked for my money back. I'm very sad as this company was at the top the recommended vendor list given to me by my venue. I contacted my venue to remove them from the list and hope no other future brides have to deal with this!! One unhappy bride

The first time I took this cab, I had a good, honest driver. The second time, a different driver…read moretried to over charge me. Firstly, he tried to get to my apartment going the long way; but I got him to follow my directions. Then, when we arrived he said that a 3.5 mile cab ride, which should've cost the minimum $8, would be $14! In the end, he said it was an extra fee because we had a bike. But before that, he claimed there was a $2 charge for each piece of luggage, so he was supposedly giving us a discount. He also claimed the sign inside the cab noted this. I made him show me; & of course it did not say so. It said there was a max 2 bags per passenger, so our 4 bags (2 were our backpacks, 1 was a medium sized shopping bag, & 1 was a carry-on sized suitcase) should not have cost anything extra. It also noted there may be an extra fee for additional things; but nearly doubling the cost bc we had one bike that fit in the back with tons of extra room was ridiculous. Plus, trying to make up fees to charge extra proves he was just trying to rob us. I did not pay the outrageous fee, and paid only the $8 charge + an extra dollar. I would've given this company an extra star since my first experience was not like this; but the driver also made a rude comment about not being a cargo van when he was getting back into his cab. This happened after I specifically asked if it would be OK to put a bike in the back when I called for the cab. Plus,the guy was acting friendly at first, we had a nice conversation on the way home; but as soon as I politely asked why it was $14 instead of $8, he became rude and unhelpful (that's when he started making up the extra bag charges to justify the unreasonable increase). Also, I've put a bike in a couple other cabs in the past and have never had this kind of an issue. I've found most cabs here in East Lansing to not be trustworthy; so pay attention when you use one! I suggest you use your phone's navigation if you don't know your way around already to make sure they aren't trying to take the long route. Also, pay attention to the costs they post in their cab and do your own calculation. I know they aren't all crooks; but too many of them are!
