Everything about this place is amazing. My girlfriend and I got tacos, but Alberto made sure we got…read moreto try a little bit of everything! While we were waiting for our food (which only took a few minutes!), Alberto brought us drinks to try, went to each table that was eating to make sure they were enjoying everything, informed us about all the specials throughout the week, and answered any questions we had. He overheard us talking about the chicharron and threw one in our bag too so we could try! This is the best, most authentic Mexican I've had in all of Michigan! The inside is small, but very clean and welcoming. Even if you're not from the area, I would say it's worth the drive! I cannot recommend this place enough. Make sure to stop by and support them!

I noticed Dos Locos Burritos one day as I was driving down Chesterfield Road to Gratiot. I Googled…read moreit, and the menu looked really good. We ordered it for lunch at work one day, and we were all impressed by the authentic Mexican tacos, and the portion sizes, which were very generous. The homemade salsas were really good, too. That was my first experience. I told my family about it, and we placed an order on a Saturday afternoon. My son picked it up, and came back with a couple of free items; a few churros, which were absolutely delicious, and a guava Agua Fresca, which was one the the best tasting drinks I have ever had. The man who takes the orders and runs the register is very friendly and kind. We have ordered from Dos Locos Burritos four times now, and the food has been consistently good, and freshly prepared every time. The burritos are HUGE, and filled with delicious ingredients. All of the meats we have tried have been very tasty. We have ordered the Mexican style tacos, burritos (regular and Locos Style), chimis, quesadillas, horchata, Agua Fresca, and chips and salsa. Everything has been delicious. The interior is small with a few tables, but it's really clean and nicely kept. There is a stainless steel cooled serving unit with salsas in it to the left of the register in the front that has soufflé cups with lids that you can fill with salsa for your order. The prices are mid-range, but I don't mind spending $15.00 on a burrito when that burrito is huge, and filled with high-quality, freshly prepared ingredients. The amount of food you get is absolutely worth the price you pay. I highly recommend Dos Locos Burritos!

This was excellent BBQ. Everywhere we go we look for BBQ.. we don't always try it. But the pics…read morewere too good to pass up trying, plus we love beef ribs. And the meals came looking just like the pics. The owner and grill master prepared our meals and his wife was our waitress. The bbq sauce is made in house, We tried both the pork and beef rib. Portions were huge. Two hungry people could have shared one of the dinners. We saw the sandwiches. They were also full of meat and according to a fellow customer nearby, delicious, the meat is always tender, never dry.. we started with the nachos. Normally I don't like non traditional bar type nachos, but I ate at least half the order: it had pulled pork, cheese, bbq sauce, and yes, baked beans. . Never thought I'd like baked beans on a nachos, but it worked. each nachos chip was loaded. We did go back a second time the next day for lunch with a friend. She'd never been here before, but liked it and said her dad and brother would love it. She could only finish half beef rib meal. The sides were good, they are in the process of changing the menu a little. This is not a town that likes very spicy food, so you had to request heat. The Mexican corn needed a boost Mexican chilli powder, but it's catered to local tastes. It was good, I'd order again. Home made baked beans. Very good. We enjoyed the fries, but wish we had changed them out for something more exotic on the sides menu. Would we return, we did, ordered the same thing all over again and still enjoyed it. Wished the cook but as many baked beans on the nachos. Maybe request more because it is good. All I can say is, you gotta eat here, even if you are travelling along the 401. It's worth the detour up to Chatham for the restaurant.

The owner even gave us 3 pizzas on the house and showed us great hospitality. Highly recommended if you're visiting Chatham!
