Had a 35 foot blue spruce tree that we needed removed. They were 40% less expensive than the other bids received. The team arrived on time with a crew of 4, a bobcat and a truck with chipper. They were finished and cleaned up in about 30 minutes. The trunk pieces were left in the parkway and a semi with a crane arrived the following day to pick these up. After quoting me for a "standard cost of a tree this size" they talked to my insurance company and cut the quote in half due to some of the tree being on the neighbor's property without contacting me about it at all. They would not contact me back when I asked them about it. They have terrible customer service and are a company that is not on the customer's side. read more

I had a huge oak limb come down on my garage and my neighbors yard. I needed it cleaned up right away as it was all over the place. We couldn't get to the garages. They were the only company which could do it that day so I hired them after looking at the reviews here. They got the job done quickly. The ground was really soft after getting 3 inches of rain overnight in this storm which caused the limb to come down. The guy driving the Bobcat went into the lawn on both of our properties and left huge ruts. This was completely unnecessary. The Bobcat could have stayed on the driveways if the other guys had hauled the cut limbs onto the drive. Not too difficult as these are very small yards in the city. They left a lot of debris, some as big as 2-3 inches in diameter for us to dispose of. I got back to them and was assured they would come back to clean up the mess. They never did. A woman came back to see what needed to be done to the lawns. She said she would come back with soil to fill the holes. She never showed, either. They did not follow any safety rules: no hardhats, no eye protection, short pants. They were all very nice and polite but they left a mess and then did not follow through with promises to make it right. read more

While this was a couple of years ago. I had them come out to give me a quote on having very large limb removed. I thought the price was within line of what I thought it would cost so I hired them to do the work. We set a date. They never showed up and wouldn't return my calls or respond to my email's. I needed to have the work done ASAP so I contacted a different company. They came out to evaluate the limb in question and returned to do the work the next day for half the price. I have since hired that company to remove 2 large Oak trees. read more

I had them come out to take down a tree and a few branches in the backyard which they were able to do no problem and I was pleased with the work as it applied to the trimming. That was until they carelessly drove their bucket truck over the back of my new driveway pad recklessly, causing 2 large portions of concrete to break away. The most disappointing aspect of this company and why I would stay away from them comes down to their owner. It took me 1 1/2 months to get an answer from the owner despite numerous emails and calls to settle this issue, which I knew they wouldn't want to pay for because it would cost them more to fix the driveway then what I owed for the service. Finally, I was able to get an answer because it came down to needing a final notice letter via a lawyer that this would go to court if unanswered. I was amazed at how unprofessional they handled this situation. Please save yourself the trouble and find another service. read more

Delivered a large tree stump with my chips. It is so big I cannot lift it and after nearly two months of calling to have it removed I am not happy. I have been talking to the owner the whole time so it isn't the staff it is the management. Don't use these guys unless you want to pay to get rid of their waste. read more

These people took down two 35-foot black walnut trees and one smaller Scots Pine in one day. The arborist maneuvered his chainsaw as would a medical surgeon a scalpel. My point is that the unwanted trees were whittled down efficiently and safely with precision, and the removal and cleanup was comprehensive and complete. Every member of the crew was friendly and accommodating. When the job was complete the messy giants were gone, leaving the remaining and unharmed landscape friendlier for other developing trees and bushes. This service was worth every penny of the estimated cost, but they are the least expensive in town. read more

They list on Craigslist hardwood for sale, split and dried wood. What they deliver is green pine that smokes up the whole neighborhood. When I asked Paul about it he laughed and thought it was funny.
